Address book uses wrong "from" account
I use Thunderbird to access multiple e-mail accounts. When I open the address book and click with the right button on a name and select "Write", the e-mail form opens with my old e-mail account in 'From '. The address book started when this account was my only email account. However this is more my favorite email account. How can I change the account 'To' deal with the uses of the book? I have not found a framework for this.
I use Thunderbird 24.6 on Windows 7.
Tools/choice of account, select the account in the left pane, then account Actions/set default.

Or you can create a saved search to collect such messages. Then, their mere presence in this saved search folder would indicate their status is unknown.

My hotmail account has been hacked and they have added a contact in my address book. I can't remove it because it does not appear when I got my address book, it appears only as a shipper when I compose mail. Do I have to close my account or y at - it another way to remove it?

I move from a Windows XP computer to a Windows 7 computer. My old computer has Outlook Express. I've migrated successfully my emails and messages archived in Thunderbird on the new computer. I also migrated the Outlook Express address book using an external hard drive, but I was not able to understand how to find the Outlook Express address book in Thunderbird. The only way that I could find the Outlook Express address book, is to go to 'tools' and 'import' and then import the Outlook Express address book. When I do this, the Outlook Express address book features, duplicate entries (because I imported twice now). When the Outlook Express address book shows, it works without problems and I can use it to send emails. But once I close the Outlook Express address book, I can't find him. Other messages, I see that the "Address book" tab in Thunderbird should open a window containing a list of available on the left side address books. But this window in my computer does not display a list of address books. There is just a blank window for the address book personal (it has no contacts inside) and there is nothing on the left side.

I created a new account from but I would still get the old account since most of my family and friends have this account and I probably still have some Skype credit on it.
The problem is that I don't have all the order numbers or know what credit card was used because I haven't used that account at least a year and probably more.

I want to change my Exchange account provider so that store my address connected in a line (on this Exchange account) locally on the Mac.
That is the address book was originally the connected address book of the Exchange account.
I exported this address book via the menu, Export-Archive.
After I deleted this account Exchange-Addressbook - disappear from all contacts in the address book (as expected).
Now I imported archive address book (see step before), but the address book is always empty.

In the Finder, choose go to folder from the menu reach.

Find the three address book files - v22.abcddb and delete them.
Start Contacts and see if it meets.
