ADF deployment Mobile & Android SDKit

Hi people,

There are quite a few days, I go through the mobile document from the ADF. After a big gap again, I gave a try to continue my learning in the 'ADF Mobile Bases' section.

Where I found the oracle doc to start ADF Mobile with simple Oracle JDeveloper 11 g tutorials

Is it possible to improve performance, as these things. ?

See the line from 46 to 48 log says: "something harmful.

I followed the document as suggested I did int Exchange anything. document that also has the same.

From my understanding, I have to change the mode while deploying. I also cross check that there is no mode option when creating the deployment profile

Please someone tell me. What is going on.

Thank you.

Subramanian,

As already mentioned in post using mode of publication, not only didn't it reduces deployment time in minutes (from 10 minutes you specified), but also to reduce the size of archive to a third party.

See more details about the release mode alongwith configuration configure the keystore-

  • How to reduce the Oracle ADF deployed Mobile

    Hello

I created simple demonstrations with Oracle ADF Mobile and the deployment file is more than 50 MB. Is there a way to reduce this size? Maybe remove some features unused llike SQLLite?

At the moment you can't do much. Oracle is working on that. With one of the next versions the size will reduce if all goes well.  If you create the application without debugging information, the size is smaller.

  • Mobile Android doesn't work with submit fdf format

I want to collect data by mobile (Android) as JavaScript does not work in this environment, I intend to import the data into a report PDF form with JavaScript, functions, etc., but the mobile reader Acrobat doesn't seem to work with send to send data (FDF format) via e-mail.

We use Acrobat XI in most cases to collect these data and this works well, however, we are experimenting with mobile options that are very limits, and that's why we thought that by collecting only the data on a device mobile we could import it into our work windows pdf form, our tests using this concept in a working windows environment , but we stumbled once we found that the Send button does not work in the android player to send the FDF data.

Does anyone know of a work around?

    Best regards Mike

About JavaScript, it converts any, but some things are not supported with mobile versions. Format/typo/validate/calculation methods custom that you can configure in Acrobat are supported, as are the JavaScripts custom limit yourself to what is taken in charge, which is documented here: JavaScript for QAnywhere Player Mobile (iOS)

It is a support obviously very limited, but is slowly added. If they could only add support for 'view' and 'valueAsString' field properties, it would be a significant improvement. Note that the script at the level of the document are not supported, you must include all of the code in the field events.

I know that this issue could have been raised in the past, but with the pressure that we receive from our customers who have android phones, we really want to know what the plan is.

Are Mobile Android (those developed as Nexus 4, Galaxy s3, etc) anywhere on the roadmap?

Are there time limits or expectations we must keep in mind?

Yes, they are. I hope that later this year. That's all that I can say at this point, sorry. What part of the world, you're in where you found the requests customer to support Android phone? Thank you!

    Hello

I found the answer to this error, it's like actually had reinstalled Studio Android, whereby a new directory has been created with the software, called SDK as sdk1. And in my tools-> preferences, path of the plate-shape and tools platform was given as the sdk (old directory). Now, I've updated the path in the new directory as sdk1 and it works fine.

  • Oracle ADF Mobile - Android SDK problem

    Hello

I use Jdev11.1.2.4.0 with ADF Mobile framework 11.1.2.4.39.64.71 EQUIPPED. While I'm deploying application in the Android emulator more precisely Android SDK Manager 22.2.1.

    I got an error like.

    CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified in android "C:\Program Files\Android\platform-tools\aapt"":;

of this error. I got to know, aapt is not in the path mentioned during execution.

But see my configuration below. I loaded different directory.

    Location of the Android SDK:

    F:\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\sdk

    Location of the Android platform:

    F:\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\sdk\platforms\android-18.

Little, I've observed, earlier we use ADF Mobile framework 11.1.2.3.xx.xx. Now, we are updated to 11.1.2.4.39.64.71. And,

    Also AVG Antivirus installed.

I did a few months ago before deployment. I force get this error.

    My basic questions:

    1. how to solve this error. ?

    2. I loaded different directory. Why is he trying to extract from another directory. ?

More clearly... / Platform-tools\aapt is available in drive f but it is looking for drive C Program Files...

    Help me understand...

During this time. I have goggled out, I got a link from Jobinesh.

Binary: Error during the deployment of the CRG app for android - cannot run the program "adt-bundle-windows-x86_64-20140321\sdk\tools\zi..."

This link is not accurate. But it helps me understand, I need to move the files to the mentioned location. But it is not sensible for me in my case.

    Thank you

    Kaim.

You must use Oracle MAF instead of Oracle ADF Mobile in the future.

Google continues to change the location of the files in their installation of SDK - so change between versions of the API of the location of the files.

Make sure that you use the API right supported by your Mobile ADF or the version of the MAF.

  • Deployment Mobile ADF problem

    Hello-

I'm so frustrated with the ADF Mobile deployment. I have already created several Android applications using the native language and never did face problems of this kind. I am very familiar with the ADF development as well.

in any case, it's my problem.

I downloaded the mobile application of adf sample from the following tutorial, but I have been unable to deploy on the Android emulator in Release mode. The debug mode takes forever.

  • JDeveloper ADF Mobile - Android context

    Hello

I'm new to the development of the ADF Mobile. I wanted to use an existing library of android. which requires the context as a parameter because this isn't some back-end database activities. How can I get the Android context if I develop hybrid application using ADF Mobile.

It's very urgent for the development of mu. Any help is appreciated.

    Kind regards
    Kathia

Hi, unfortunately I don't think that it is easy to use an existing library of Android, because the JVM Dalvik on Android device is different from the JAVA virtual machine integrated into ADF Mobile. ADF Mobile integrates its own JVM to ensure cross-platform compatibility.

However, that said, what is the use case exact application you have in mind? In the backend, you mean you are trying to use the Android library communicates with the database server and synchronize data and download data in the local SQLite Database?

    Thank you

  • In Firefox Mobile Android version 38 do not work a pageWorker! (cross-page-sdk)

I'm developing an addon for android mobile version of Firefox and use the api high level ' sdk/page-worker' for my process.
But when I updated Firefox to version 38, page/sdk-worker do not work.
I try to use the source code of the page https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/SDK/High-Level_APIs/page-worker , but it does not work too. I mean that without error, but the background page was not created.
For example, if I'm using the following source code:

    var pageWorker = require("sdk/page-worker");
    var tmp = pageWorker.Page({)
    contentScript: "console.log ("Im loaded!");"
    });

I have no errors or warnings and did not log console "Im loaded! It is only work on android mobile version of FIrefox 38. 37 mobile Firefox, it works well (and desktop version of 38 Firefox works well).

This is a bug or a new feature? In the changelog for Firefox 38 nothing about this...

  • How can I configure mobile android password manager copy all of my passwords from firefox to my office?

How can I configure my new mobile password manager for my android phone copy all of my passwords from firefox to my office?
Right now, I noticed there is only about 8 passwords listed.
But my office saved password manager has about 50 listed.
This makes me think that the android app is to choose only to remember what I saved directly with my android. I want to capture all my saved passwords from my desktop also.
I tried recheck my firefox sync options, but only confirmed that I don't have this game automatically synchronize all my data (including passwords.)

I found that I have to press the 'Menu' (three horizontal lines in a square) in the mobile view and connect until I'm able to meet Firefox on Android.

Now that you're on your desktop: try passwords uncheck in synchronization preferences, wait a few seconds, then check again. Then on your phone, the settings of the open Android app, accounts & sync, choose your Firefox Sync account, then Menu > sync now.

  • How can I disable autofill in Firefox Mobile (Android)?

I found all kinds of people asking this for the version of office, but as in all for mobile? AutoFill information gets in the way of the rest of the screen on the phone, so is more harmful than helpful and I want to turn it off, but I can't figure out how. Thank you.

To disable the form fill in Firefox for Android:

    1. Type "subject: config" in the Firefox address bar, then press on enter or go
    2. Search for 'pre-fill '.
    3. Tap "browser.formfill.enable" preference, then press the rocker switch to change from "true" to "false".
