ADF - Ebusiness suite integration

Hi Experts,

I followed Note 974949.1 for the integration of my request for 11 g ADF with Oracle Ebusiness suite 12.1.3:

1 AppsDataSource, has created and able to access the database data.

2 the security field created with ExtAuthenticator

3. has created custom roles UMX and assigned to users / responsibilities.

4. set the external profile ADF URL option.

5. configure the ADF with ADF security enforcement, create business for UMX roles roles.

Now I am able to join the ADF page with a function ADFX to a menu with responsibility for E-business suite. When I click on this function, it takes me to my page ADF, but he asked me to name new user password (I tried all types of ADF security - basic, Digest, etc.). If I give a password valid ebusiness suite user name, it shows me my page else not. So it of using eBusiness suite as authenticator, but do not provide no not me alone signed.

Can you please suggest how to achieve? Just to inform, we do not have license for Oracle Access manager etc... so please notify, if possible using the ADF, Ebiz SDK for Java or with a coding security?

Kind regards

Ricky

Hi Ricky,.

If the condition is to have a seamless integration between EBS and ADF application (without inviting the user to enter the credentials again), you can get the use of the "integration of shared Session.
You will need to implement your ADF phaselistener that interacts with the module of the Application root to set the session of the ADF.
You can find more details in "http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/tutorials/ebs-sdk-best-practices-1887169.pdf".

Thank you

  • How to become an Oracle eBusiness Suite Developer

    Hi all

My name is John and I've been an Oracle PL/SQL Developer for over 10 years now. I have also built and programmed in Oracle Forms and Reports using version 4, 5, 6i as well 10. I always wanted to enter the area of the Oracle e-Business market and this year I would take seriously the fulfilment of that ambition.

My main questions included is only a logical or appropriate means where I can learn about Oracle eBusiness Suite, i.e. I should learn it in a class, get a book and learn it install the necessary software and put it into practice myself or is there another method? Since there are so many resided in the Oracle eBusiness Suite modules, what modules should I focus on? Should I try one more popular that most companies currently use? And most important of all, even if I were able to equip skills Oracle e-Business, both technical and functional, given that I was only that in my free time, but not working for an employer, or with no work experience in this product, you would think I stand a good chance to be used by potential employers. As most of the Oracle eBusiness related Announces employment in Australia require at least 3 to 5 years of e-Business Suite experience. • e-Business suite integration with ADF

    HI there xperts!

I'm having a lot of trouble trying to decipher the multitude of information around to incorporate Jdeveloper ADF 12.1.3 ebusiness applications

Essentially, I have created a number of display pages in my application but now need to call APIs to add transactional functions.

My understanding at the moment, is actually to expose web services and call those who are in the ADF using data for the web service controls.

I was able to go to the integration repository and deploy the API. It's when I'm stuck. What should I use BPEL / Oracle Service BUS?

Or I can now access these services directly exposed from ADF. If so, how? I can see the addresses specific to our environment in the WSDL file, however, these are invalid when I try to create a web service data control.

My second question, when deploying to a customer site, these details need to be updated each time (that is to say, there will be specific addresses for each environment?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hi all

Can someone please provide any document or link to integrate OAM 11 g with E-Business Suite.

    Thank you and best regards,

The document * integration Oracle E-Business Suite with Oracle Access Manager 10g with Oracle E-Business Suite AccessGate [ID 975182.1] * provides the integration steps for Oracle Access Manager 10g with E-Business Suite.

    Fix.

We follow the document for the integration of OAM 11 g with E-Business Suite.

For Oracle Access Manager 11g, follow the steps described in the Note: 1309013.1 (as explained in my previous answer, the product is called 11g but the version 10.3.4 - I know it's confusing, but it is the case with the Fusion level products).

  • Deploying ADF applications with integration of EBS

    Hello

I read a few articles about deploying ADF applications and they found it useful. Most of them are not suitable for ADF 11g developed lettering. I developed a demo application using Jdev Studio ver 12.1.3.0.0 by installing the WebLogic Server. This application must now be deployed on another node on a remote and built-in Server with EBS. References user interface developed stored procedures using IDE connect to Oracle DB. The remote server has the SDK for Java installed and a DATA SOURCE has been defined by the administrator.

I tried to follow the steps explained in the URL that follows, but in vain. I could not find server Navigation Application. How-to: ADF Deployment Guide

Could someone please help me understand the modalities of deployment of this application developed on my laptop on a remote server? Your valuable contribution is appreciated.

    Applications Oracle DBA.

1 oracle EBS 12.1.x is certified on RHEL 6 in order to ensure that they cover all the steps that are associated with this version of the OS (Oracle E-Business Suite Installation and upgrade 12 Release Notes (12.1.1) for Linux x 86-64 (Doc ID 761566.1)). So the answer is Yes for upgrading 10.1.3 ORACLE_HOME for the last group of patches and ORACLE_HOME RDBMS at 11.2.0.3 or 11.2.0.4

    2. Yes (see my answer above)

    3. I understand that the target nodes are different from the source those so you will need to upgrade the nodes of your source (as mentioned in the answer #1 above) then use quick Clone. No new installation required.

  • Oracle BPM/ADF UI and integration Datacontrols

    Hi all

I'm still really new to this. We are on JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0

We already have a workflow BPM process in place and we need to create some UI ADF custom BPM missions. The ADF UI also needs to have some data to ADF business components controls.

We have followed the following steps:

    1. Create a generic project ADF
    2. ADF from TaskFlow of human task.
    3. Create a model project to hold the BC.

    Problem,

    1. Only the workflow and interface user of the project get deployed and the ADF UI do not contain the Datacontrols for business components in the project template

    Question:

    1. How us to deploy all three projects, including the model project to make the ADF UI will contain these data controls?

    Thank you.

OK, the problem was solved by changing the AppModule of Url JDBC connection type to the JDBC data source and by setting the data source name to match the name of the data source's JNDI in WebLogic Console

I'm hoping to break into the Oracle functional world in the coming months / years after having been the company drive on a recent company Oracle Financials implementation that I work.

Instead of simply to read manuals, I want to do a practical training. After doing some research, I see there are on the market of products that offer an instance vision of Oracle installed on a hard drive. I was planning on buying one of them to install home and practice at my own pace.

Can anyone confirm if there is a justified reason why I shouldn't go ahead with this? My understanding is that as long as I use it to train at home, it must be correct. I want to just make sure that these products are legitimate.

There should be no problem in buying one of these laptops with Oracle E-Business Suite already installed. However, if you download and install Oracle E-Business Suite yourself, you are supposed to use the product for free (evaluation) for the first 30 days, then the product license - https://edelivery.oracle.com/

  • Integrate with eBusiness Suite Oracle OBIEE

    Hello

I have OBIEE running on a data warehouse that contains an Oracle 11 g server. I would like to integrate with Oracle Financials OBIEE, how can this be achieved. Is the source of data must be defined somewhere?

    Thank you

If you have money then Oracle have "Analytical" - a product licensed for this purpose.

If you want to do it yourself, then it's just a matter of pointing OBIEE Financials via ODBC or other appropriate (sic) adapter...

However, you will find that as the structure of data in Navision financials is not best suited to your needs because it is a database of transactions with standardization of data...

So before your task in the repository, you can go through a process ETL to turn the tables in the star structure which is the most suitable for OBIEE fast and flexible reports.

A small job, it is not function of how you are trying to reach.

    Good luck!

    R.

  • Where can I get Ebusiness Suite 12.0.4 for Linux-86 64-bit?

I am going through the Oracle website, and I can't find the 12.0.4 version of the e-Business suite for Linux-86 64. I'll here http://edelivery.oracle.com, and I'm not. I see that the R12.1.1 version.

Can someone guide me in the right direction?

    Hello

Currently, R12 (12.0.4) is not available for download on the site Web of Oracle e-Delivery (I think that it won't not available on this site). Connect a SR and ask the support of Oracle to send the Media Pack.

  • Deploy the Hello world on a test Oracle eBusiness Suite application

    Hello

I created the project Hello World in the Oracle Applications Framework (11.5.10 RUP5) Developer Guide.

How to deploy the "application" of the e-Business Suite test environment? The Devguide shows how to perform a large number of additional measures, such as the deployment of the business object and so forth (the helloworld application is none of those)...

What steps are necessary to deploy the Hello World application, to make it work in e-Business Suite (Chapter 1 Page 26)?

    Thanks for the tips!

Your script does not mention the root directory. Run this:

    /MyTest/Oracle/dbcomn/Java/Oracle/Apps/AK/Hello/WebUI/AndrasPG.XML - rootdir/mytest/oracle to Java oracle.jrad.tools.xml.importer.XMLImporter/dbcomn/java/apps - username username-password xxxxxx - dbconnection "(description = (addr
    "(ess_list = (address = (community = tcp.world) (protocol = tcp) (host = 10.1.0.x)(port = 15xx))) (connect_data = (sid = x))).

Hope that you enter the correct host, port, and SID number.

Check and compare libraries of the project against the projects running.

You should see a difference. I guess that there is either a former library included, or is missing.
