ADF Mobile unable to change the boot screen

I'm changing the splash screen for the ipad retina display. For this, I tried to replace the existing default - Portrait.png by one I need to use.

When trying to deploy, I get this error:

During playback /Users/vivekkumar/jdeveloper/mywork/AAR/deploy/AAR_ipad/temporary_xcode_project/Default-Portrait.png pngcrush taken libpng error: not a PNG filCould not found file: /Users/vivekkumar/jdeveloper/mywork/AAR/deploy/AAR_ipad/Destination_Root/Applications/AAR.app/Default-Portrait.pngCommand issued /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/usr/bin/copypng of errors, but has not returned a nonzero exit code to indicate failure

Anyone know what could be the cause?  One thing, I have to mention is that the image size is 640 * 960 instead of 1280 * 768

There is has nothing built in Windows 7 Starter Edition to allow you
to do this. But there are third-party programs that allow you to do.

Then you must have downloaded and installed something that did it.

  • Satellite R630-141 - cannot change the boot order

I have a Toshiba R630-141 and I'm changing the boot order in the Bios, but the Bios does not allow me to choose my cd drive or a USB drive as the startup disk.

I've updated the Bios today to the latest version, thinking that I need the latest version but still the Bios allows me to change the order.

The problem is the screen flashes only when I'm in the form of change of boot order. When I select the upper and down arrows to select an option in the box just blinks and does not allow me to select any option.

I tried the tab key, the number keys basically all of the keys that I on the keyboard, and still, I can't select usb or cd drive so I have to quit and restart.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Hi scarpentier,

You can change the boot order in the BIOS and booting from another boot device? Go into the BIOS and change the boot order. Enter a startup disk (e. g. Toshiba recovery disc), save & exit the BIOS Setup. The computer will restart and should boot from the CD.

  • How to change the boot on Satellite 5100 sequence?

Hello, I don't seem to be able to change the boot sequence for my 5100 satellite. I tried pressing C, F2, F12 and any other allmost touches possible.

I also tried pressing ESC to access the bios. When I Press esc, I wonder the password that I created long time ago. When I entered the password all that shows on the screen is "Press F1 to enter normal setup" or something like that, if I have not seen to be able to enter the bios.

Does anyone know a solution to my problem? I need to change the boot sequence

    Hi Lethin,

I think your laptop is "Legacy free" which means that you have no way to directly access the BIOS.

Any updates or changes to your BIOS must be made of in Windows.

  • Unable to access the boot sequence in the BIOS

I press ESC at startup, then F9. I can use the arrow keys to switch between 'the operating system startup Manager' and 'file. EFI Boot. But when I select "OS boot manager" and press on enter as the instructions on the screen, the date of the BIOS and Windows is loaded. How can I change the boot order?

    Hello

The following assumes that you are trying to boot from an optical disc or flash drive.

Tap the escape key when you rewind to enter the Boot Menu.

Select the option in the Bios ( f10 )

Select the 'System Configuration' tab, and then expand "Startup Options".

Disable startup secure and enable legacy devices.

Press f10, select Yes and press ENTER to save these settings.

Note: When the machine restarts, you will be asked probably enter a number of 4-digit on the display to confirm the change of setting.

Insert the bootable media.  Restart the computer and press once further to the esc to launch the Start Menu.  Select the Startup Manager ( f9 ), and I hope that the device you are trying to boot from will now be an option.

    Kind regards

  • Cannot change the login screen to display all users.

I'm unable to change the sign on screen to display all users.  It is said to remove the client service for netware (CSNW), when I go to remove only the open is available.  The service has not been started.

Where did you go to remove the Client Services for Netware?

Go to network connections (start > run > ncpa.cpl > OK)
Right-click on the icon for your network adapter (most likely, Local area connection), and then select Properties
On the general tab, you should see a list under "this connection uses the following items."
Select the Client Services for Netware, click to remove the check mark, and then click Uninstall.
    OK your way out.
    Restart (it is not automatically)
After Windows starts, go to control panel > user accounts > Change the way users log on and outside
Select the options you want and click on apply changes.

The list of questions should normally (personal computers) include only 4 following:

    Client for Microsoft networks
    QoS Packet Scheduler (optional)
Sharing files and printers for Microsoft Networks (only if you want to share files or printers)
    Internet (TCP/IP) Protocol

If you do not see Client Services for Netware on the general tab of the connection to the Local network or if you still have the problem after uninstalling it this connection, examine the properties of other components in the network connections.  For some of them (e.g. Dial-up), the list of questions is on the network rather than on the general tab tab.

If you can't find the Client Services for Netware for ALL network connections (and therefore cannot remove), reinstall it, and then follow the instructions above to uninstall.

    To reinstall:

    1. go in the network adapter Properties/General tab you use and then click on install
    2. make sure that 'Client' is highlighted, and then click Add.
    3. highlight "Client Service for Netware", click OK
    4. leave your PC restart.

  • How to change the boot order in Windows 7.

I have a 64-bit operating system and I'm trying to remove windows 7 and install Vista. When I press F8, I take to a screen that does not allow me to change the boot order. If Windows 7 keeps on loading and the DVD are never read. How can I change the options, then the boot order is changed and the DVD are read and I can install Vista.

    Help please.

    Hello

Check with your system manufacturer support, their books online and ask in their forums (if any).

Configuration/settings (BIOS/CMOS) often F2 as you start then look at the screen that will tell you how-
the order of boot on CD/DVD drive everything first. Some systems use F12 or other keys to allow a time change
    in the boot order.

    I hope this helps.

  • Re: Satellite A50 - how can I change the boot with BIOS password priority?

I have a Satellite A50. I need to restore to factory default to recover DVD, how do I boot from the DVD?

The default boot priority is the HARD drive and is more bootable has been formatted. My BIOS is password protected, how can I change the boot priority? After having inserted the password, its always boot from the HARD drive.

    Thank you

The boot priority, that you can change in the BIOS.
Go into the BIOS with ESC, enter your password and then you can change it.
But don t forget to save the changes.

That s all and then you can boot from the CD.

  • Re: Satellite A210-10 has, crashes when you change the boot order

    Hello

I have a serious problem with my computer Toshiba laptop, Windows Vista 32-bit, clocked at 1.8 Ghz, 2 GB RAM, AMD Turion 64 x 2
There is only a single disk partitioned into two drives of 75 GB (C and E).

The problem is that whenever I enter the start menu (for boot from CD), or if I change in the BIOS boot order and restart, the computer hangs (power cut off suddenly).
So the only way to recover, is to connect the AC/DC adapter, wait 5 minutes and repeat. Then, everything lights up normally or launches of Windows system recovery, after what he will restart and work very well.

It would be important to know that I partitioned the drive to have 30 GB for installing Win7 later. The problem is that I've never tried to change the boot order before repartitioning, so I don't know if it has something to do with the problem or if it was there before.

Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

    Thank you

It seems that the issue related to the Bios. Have you tried to put update or reflash?
