  I see you found folds when printing on envelopes. I want to help you solve this problem.

  Adjust the print driver for the type of paper for envelope, this should solve this problem.

  If the paper is not set correctly, it can cause creases or types of paper not supported also.

  You may just be able to set a default to plain paper. If you print from Word, you need to set the default settings through devices and printers in the printer properties.

  What type and size and the weight of the envelope are you using?

• Cannot change the print settings

  I have a new printer, an Epson XP 430. My previous printer was also an Epson. With my old printer, when I chose to print (for a document, web page, etc.) the dialog always had an option to choose, black and white. I also could add to the presets and edit presets.

  With this printer, I can see the presets, but I can't make changes. When I click on view Presets, it is not an option for adding a new preset as it was with my old printer and remove and duplicate boxes are grayed out.

  I guess that this is due to the printer, not OS X, as I noticed the difference when I started using the new printer. Am I missing something somewhere? I rarely print in color, so I would have a preset that specifies black & white.

  Since you have a new printer, you can create new presets. This is done through the printer with the selected printer dialog box, not through the page view Presets. When you select this option to print do the settings that you want to create a preset for and then click on the drop down preset menu. Select "Save current settings as preset" and enter a name for the new preset.

• OfficeJet Pro 8620: Locked out of the printer settings

  Good evening

  I was unable to print wireless so I did a network reset the unit. When I rebooted the machine, I proceeded to return to the network settings in order to capture the wireless information however I received the error "function has been locked by the administrator or the person who set up your printer".

  I'm not sure what is the problem with that I'm the one who created this printer. I assign a password to the machine, and with that, I have no option to enter in order to unlock all the features (there is usually an option under 'Tools'.).

  After some searching through the forums, I printed a wireless test and the results were a single FAILURE for Wireless on.

  Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
