  • Adjustments are disabled

I've updated Aperture to 3.6and do not have access to the settings more. Adjustments are disabled and I can't edit any photo.

Is there an error in the adjustment Panel? There could be several reasons:

    • You could have "Quick Preview". Enter 'P' to toggle it out.
    • Your drive with the original files might be offline or missing originals.
    • You can try to edit images in the photo stream.
    • The RAW format is not supported.

What do you see in the adjustment Panel?

If the place with the tail is highlighted in yellow, click it to turn off quick preview.

  • Adjustments are disabled for dynamic objects

I want to edit a photo of LR3 as dynamic objects. When I open it for LR3 in CS5 I can't use the adjustment tools because they are disabled (all instead of the shadows and HDR). Why?

Because only a few of the adjustments can work as smart filters.  And because dynamic objects are not pixelated layers that can be adjusted in a destructive way.

    You should use adjustment layers.

Photo Gallery - cannot save changes

When you edit a photo, I get this message: "unable to save changes to this picture because library has encountered a problem." I tried various things I found online (several threads on this site as apparently others have experienced this too), but none of the ideas allowed. Here's the thing, it worked for years until now. Last week I played ignorance a little with my services, disabling some supposedly speeding up my computer and also played with my Start menu. I don't know that I've changed, however. Can any particular service being disabled cause this problem? Thank you and have a nice day.

Similar thing TI also occurs when you are working on other programs on the mac, but not nearly as much.

Guessing here, but try to disable drag between pages on the tab more than movements in the system preferences > mouse. or a Trackpad. Depending on whether you are using.

  • Edit raw photos to mac files

I use a Fuji X - T10. Raw files are currently supported by OS X. When I download the pictures, I don't seem to be able to edit raw files. 'Use RAW original title' menu option is grayed out. Can someone explain how to use Photos to directly modify the raw file? Thank you!

'Use RAW original title' menu option is grayed out. Can someone explain how to use Photos to directly modify the raw file?

This option is only available, if you are in edit mode. Then, it will be activated in the picture menu, but only for RAW and JPEG pairs.

If you have imported only RAW files, the RAW file is already the original and will be used, when you edit a photo.

I'm not sure what you want to achieve.  Photos do not edit the original RAW file. The original will still be retained unchanged. Photos will open the RAW file, apply adjustments to the image and then create a preview. You can export the photo retouched in many formats, but not as an edited RAW file; export the photos edited in TIFF high quality, or in the form of JPEG file.

Ive just made on my computer disaster recovery and have experienced significant problems when you try to download updates from windows, a message indicating: "the website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view," appeared on several occasions accompanied by "[error number: 0 x 80244019].  I tried the antivirus program malware removal tool and ensured that my computer has been configured for the installation of updates, according to the instructions on the microsoft Web site, but nothing works, I have also ensured that the features activex in my internet security settings are enabled.  There is another extremely irritating aspect to this problem: I am repeatedly received a message that my "Add-ons" are 'disabled,' when in fact I have ensured that they have all been activated.

    Hello

I found the specific problem last night on another forum thread.  In fact, my computer is an older edition that had Service pack 2 installed.  As this service pack is no longer accepted by the Microsoft windows updates, updates of the said installation has failed, causing "error 0 x code 80244019."  After the upgrade to service pack 3, I found that the problem be resolved itself.

  • Editing a photo on Indesign CC

    Hi all

I am a beginner on Indesign and only did CVS with pour l'instant.

I need to create flyer of United Nations pay the Association I work right now. Pour Castro, on me provides a photo on which there are quite a few item I'd like to hide (it's a movie poster).  I tried the rectangle tool on the text I wanted to 'remove', then the eyedropper tool, but it is very light (and not beautiful at all). I wanted to know if there was another possibility which would have made a more subtle than the big rectangle of a questionable color in the middle of the poster? If on optative avoid using Photoshop pour this it'll greatly!

Thank you all pay your help!

InDesign cannot edit images beyond layers of hide-raster. You can put objects in front of the mask, or harvest areas, but the real editing needs to be done in Photoshop.

You may not have lost any resolution... or you can understand the word "resolution" bad

Resolution isn't the file size, which are the numbers you are quoting. So the 1.3 MB changing to 542KB does not indicate a change in resolution. If you export the picture and let the box that says "Resize to Fit" disabled, so you don't waste no resolution at all, even if the file size has changed.

  • PS4 gradient editor - cannot edit the color gradient steps, etc.

I just noticed that whenever I open the gradient editor, either from the tool broken down in the toolbar or to merge options > overlay gradient, or any other means to use the gradient tool, I have more access to the color stops... or anything else.  Open the gradient editor dialog box and everything is visible, but I can't make any changes except for the gradient type: solid or noise.  I can see the current color steps and their positions, but cannot click on it to open the color picker dialog box.  I see also all the presets, but clicking on a "Preset" does nothing.  It's as if all the options are disabled.  I check that my document is 8-bit RGB, but I don't know what else to check.  I also chose to reset the tool in the menu gradient tool that reset gradient back of predefined default settings but still cannot modify gradients.  I tried existing documents of .psd with gradients that I edited before as well as documents entirely news.  Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the pref file is corrupted. To avoid making one from scratch in the future just do a copy of the well known one after make you it. Then store it somewhere where you can find. When you remove the defective file pref you can simply copy on save, then a new.

  • Facebook cannot access the photo library

When I try (on a Macbook Pro) 'create album' or 'add photos' on the women's FB page, I can see, but cannot access its photo library.  Why?  I can, however, access the photos directory - unfortunately, uses Photo pictures are not stored there.   Apple told me that they no longer support iPhoto, but were instead switching to 'Photos '.  So that's where all the images are imported from the camera.  WTH?  It shouldn't be this difficult.

When you use a web browser or any other application that uses the media browser, you can access your own library of Photos of system, but not of other libraries of Photos.  Only libraries can be designated as the library of the system at the same time.

The photo library of the system will be available from the sidebar of the selector Panel of file like this:

When you try to edit a photo often the mouse glides to the next or previous photo. When you click on the photo to return to the display of the album, the mouse that often takes as a gesture of shot and moves to the next or previous photo. I disabled the gesture of dragging in system preferences, but this does not solve the problem. Pictures still slide without warning.

When you click on the photo to return to the display of the album, the mouse that often takes as a gesture of shot and moves to the next or previous photo.

I can't reproduce the problem... By clicking on the photo in edit mode not drag for me.  Maybe update to Mac OS X 10.11.4 will fix this for you?  This update has many corrections of bugs.

As a workaround solution, click the SPACEBAR to exit edit mode.
