Administrator account appear in the logon screen when the computer starts in normal mode, and there is also another account on the computer.
I use Windows XP. I start my computer and I see an administrator account on the logon screen. I wonder why this account appears. I checked in the Help Center and he said that this account do not appear when I start Windows Mode without failure or when no other account does seem to accept the guest account. But after all, I never start Windows Mode safe and I also have another account on this computer. So why do this administrator account appear and how to hide? I thank.

as for what caused this problem? I recently gave a USB external hard drive, but had not written for her. did a chkdsk of the external hard disk without error. me. surprised... the problem was that my power supply was low. the adapter provided enough power for the laptop, most of the time. but sometimes for laptop needs more power that the adapter could supply... so the laptop would be closed. When I tried a different power adapter in a store, the fully charged laptop and my problem was solved. lost a lot of time because I didn't know that the power supply was the problem!

XP will only start in safe mode and System Restore does not resolve the problem
Don't know not if this is related to the same reported people of BSOD problems after recent updates, but from Tuesday my computer does not start in normal mode. I can get it to boot in safe mode, however I tried to restore to several different restore points and nothing seems to solve the problem. Any suggestions?
Hello
Many people face this problem after the latest version of windows update on the XP machine. I would like to know where are the updates that have been installed on your computer Tuesday. You can view them from the Windows update history by examining it from the Windows update site.
In case, if the KB977165 has been installed then, take a look at this thread and check if this helps you boot normally to the desktop.
http://social.answers.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/vistawu/thread/73cea559-ebbd-4274-96bc-e292b69f2fd1If the update history shows the other updates in the history list, please let us know the xxxxxx KB (number) updates, so that we can try to help you the best.
We hope to hear from soon.

Nice day
A user reported that when she comes into the office in the morning the attached screenshot intermittently will appear - basically showing the administrator account and inviting them to enter the Windows password.
She claims to have logged out of his account when she left the night before. This person is concerned that someone had logged on to his computer remotely and which has been proven not to be the case - as confirmed via the event logs as the last connection as 'administrator' in April - and that was done by me.
Another user noted that this also happens to him - again intermittently - is not specific to this particular computer.
Anyone who has never met this before and know why it is happening?
Thank you very much!
I can tell you that it is not part of Microsoft Windows. This is another program that has been installed which is causing to appear. It can be a program that you expect and that integrates in the process of connection (for example, a fingerprint reader, reader identification card or even facial recognition login). Or it could be something more dangerous as a virus that has infected your computer or your network.
But again, this is not part of Windows.
If you do not expect this with the software you know, then you must take security precautions.

Hi Mike... When the pop-up window appears at the top of the pop-up window, it should tell you the name of the software that is associated with the dll missing/corrupted. Please look and see if it is listed, and then tell us what software. Make sure that you list the full error message.
In addition, do you use a Linksys router to connect to the internet? You should also do a scan with Malwarebytesmalware. It doesn't matter what other scanners you used. Scan with Malwarebytes. Thank you.

Windows 7 black screen with the cursor of the mouse in normal mode and safe
Hi all
I hope someone can help.
Laptop downloaded updates and after the restart will only go to a black screen with the mobile mouse cursor.
This occurs in safe mode, normal mode.
I tried all variations of safe mode and still the same thing happens.
Last known configuration does not solve. (i.e. no restoration or image to enter)
Using the vista win7 dvd upgrade or a linux dvd and screen appears as you expect his obvious system is very good.
I tried the options on ctrl alt del, ctrl shift esc etc etc, but I cannot go into Control Panel, or a any part of the win7 GUI.
Best I can do is access via the command-line... any thoughts on how to fix?Hello
Welcome to Microsoft Windows 7 answers Forum!
You can try the following steps and check whether the problem is resolved.
You can disconnect all external devices except the keyboard and mouse and check if you are able to boot to the desktop and check.
I also recommend what to do the Startup Repair. Follow these steps:
To perform a Startup Repair follow these steps:
1. Insert the DVD of Windows 7 and restart the computer.
2. when we are asked to press a key to boot from the DVD, please press enter or the SPACEBAR.
3. choose your language settings, and then click Next.
4. click on repair your computer.
5. Select the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.
6. in the System Recovery Options menu, click Startup Repair. Startup Repair can invite you to make choices as it tries to solve the problem, and if necessary, it may restart your computer, because it makes the repairs.
Access the link below for more information on the Startup Repair:

The screen changes alone, I noticed when I'm in power saving mode.
Hello
Here are a few things to check.
1 right-click the battery in the taskbar icon, and select Power Options. Click on change settings for the plan alongside your selected power plan, and in the next window, click on change advanced power settings. In the advanced settings window, expand display, and then expand Enable Adaptive brightness - make sure it is set to Off for on battery and sector. Click apply then Ok to save the configuration changes.
2. open windows control panel and on the top right, next to the display by: select "large icons". In the new page layout, select Intel HD Graphics. Click the power and in the next screen, select on battery in the left pane - under the Display Power Saving Technology option, put on Disable. Click on apply and then OK to save any setting changes.

Blue screen when Windows 8 start
I encountered this problem repeatedly and randomly. When I boot I have to press and hold the ctrl key to get to my admin login screen (to enter the password). But this isn't my concern here. When this problem occurs, I see only a blue screen. There is no cursor and no key responds. I opened a session in two or three times this morning and kept getting this blue screen of death.
Finally, I could connect and got a screen that gave me the possibility to send an error report.
To fix the problem somehow?
Is any further action required?

Do I need some kind of new driver? It's on a laptop Compaq Presario F700, Windows 8 (not an upgrade of windows 7)
Is there some sort of tutorial reliable to help maintenance for Windows 8, like how to download a new driver, etc.?
We need the DMP file because it contains the single record of the sequence of events that led to the accident, what drivers have been loaded, and what has been loaded.
You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting in SafeMode (F8) with networking.
If you are overclocking stop. (chances are that if you are unsure if you are, you are not)

So I updated last night, this morning I noticed that a lot of the text on Web sites are in bold.
For example when doing web yahoo mail unread messages must be "BOLD", while read messages shouldn't be now, they are all "BOLD" anything.
I started in safe mode, thinking that an addon was broken and at the normal search that seemed to confirm that.
So I disabled all the addon and manually restarted in normal mode, the problem was back.I confirmed all was the addon still handicapped and restarted in safe mode once again, fixed... so I disabled both the plugin and extensions... still broken in normal mode.
At one point I thought it might be the default aspect so I downloaded one that looks like 3.6 and this one broke... again. So that's what I'm wondering, what is not loaded in safe mode which is always loaded when you manually turn off all extensions and plugin?
This could be a problem with the new features related to the police who are trying to use your graphics card. You can enable those here:
Tools > Options > advanced > [disable] "use hardware acceleration when available.
(It's one of the things that turn off safe mode.)
I don't know if you'll see results immediately, or if you must restart Firefox.

When you log on a Windows Vista-based or a Windows 7 computer by using a temporary profile, you receive the following error message:
The user profile Service has not logon. User profile cannot be loaded.http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/947215#letmefixit
Your user profile was not loaded correctly! You have been logged on with a temporary profile.

If you tried to log on to Windows and received an error message telling you that your user profile is damaged, you can try to fix it. You will need to create a new profile and then copy the files from the existing to the new profile. You must have at least three user accounts on the computer to perform these operations, including the new account that you created.
