Adobe Acrobat Pro DC crashes when I combine PDF files

I recently installed Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on my computer and everytime I try to combine PDF files it says that Adobe has stopped working and crashes. I uninstalled and reinstalled, I did all the updates of windows, I ran the cleaning of Adobe Acrobat tool and all Adobe updates are up-to-date. This is extremely annoying and it really bothers my work, I constantly need to combine PDFs (sometimes thousands of pages). This was never a problem in the past until about 2 weeks ago. I appreciate any help!

Workaround solution:

My document has 122 pages in .pdf format

I exported the PDF crashing to MS Word in Acrobat Pro DC.

Exported .doc in Word for Mac 2016

Saved .doc exported to PDF in Word or Mac 2016

PDF open in Acrobat Pro ms.

White added the page without the document / application to crash.

"Adobe Acrobat 8.0 stopped working.  He "checks for a problem" but simply closes and I lose everything I do.  :-(  Any suggestions?

You use AA8.0 or later version. If this isn't the case, you must take 2 steps. (1) repairs (to help); (2) update AA8 (currently at 8.3.1: on the Help menu or download from the Adobe Downloads > updates).

  • Implementation of the trial of the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC crashes at 10% compleate

I want to try the trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  When I try to use the downloaded installation program, it seems to hang (gel) about 10% full - sometimes by 24%.  I can leave it alone for an hour or more and nothing changes, what is the problem

  • Updated Adobe Acrobat & now I can't view a PDF file

Monday night, I updated Adobe Acrobat.

On Tuesday, I found I couldn't read or create PDFs. I get an error message that says:

"Check with the developer to make sure that Acrobat Pro works with this version of Mac OS x. reinstall". "

I use a Mac Book pro with Lion 10.7.5

So I reinstalled Acrobat and still have the same problem!

    Any tips?

I can't see another thread on this particular issue but ignore me if it already exists.

    Thank you

I seem to be the only person having this problem, but just in case anyone has the same problem Adobe Chat support me:

    -Open Finder

    -Click on Go

-In the type of research/library + click on enter

    -Click application support > Adobe

    -Remove all acrobat files

    -Go to folder repeat

-Search ~/library + click on enter

    -now repeat to Go go

    Research/Library

-Click on Preferences > delete all files that are labeled as com.adobe.acrobat

    Then reinstall Adobe Acrobat

Then try to open a PDF file

I did find the same error message!

So I had to uninstall the Acrobat file I had loaded just that is, repeat the above steps

The next support solution has given was to go to the preferences of the user on the Mac and create a new name for the admin for example test acrobat - not enter any password, although then I lock the padlock.

    Reset

Sign up under the new name of the admin

    Search for a PDF file

A test to see if they would open

And even once, I get the same stupid error message!

So I am now really tired.

Did anyone had this problem & it is resolved?  There are of course some conflicts with the recent update and the Lion and the file does not work correctly.

    Hello

"This happens while accessing any PDF" or when you launch Acrobat?

You can try to repair Acrobat, and see if that helps.

Is there an error number or exit code associated with the error message? If so, please provide us with the screenshot of the same thing.

You might also uninstall Acrobat using the cleaning tool. Here is the link to download the cleaning tool.

Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat cleaning tool - Adobe Labs

Once uninstalled, you could try to download it again. If it is a subscription, you may consult the following link.

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Acrobat/KB/Acrobat-DC-downloads.html

You can reboot your machine as well and then try to launch Acrobat.

If it's a perpetual license, you have to call this one.

Be sure to turn off all third-party software before you begin the installation.

Let us know how it goes.

  • Acrobat Pro DC freezes when creating a PDF from the Clipboard and gives an error message when you create a pdf from Microsoft Word 2016.

Two weeks ago I have upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Pro since Acrobat Pro XI DC. Create a PDF from Clipboard in appearance from a status bar results, lessons for 25%, at which point Acrobat "freezes" "." " Similarly, when using the feature to create a file PDF in Microsoft Word 2016, a progress bar appears, gets to 25%, then the error message "Microsoft Word has stopped working", restart Word, and a message recommending that the Acrobat Add-in is disabled. I'm on Windows x 64 on a Lenovo X 1 carbon 10. Is there a "fix" to these questions?

The word problem seems more likely to have a bug introduced by Microsoft in their last update for Word 2016, a couple of weeks. Someone posted a way to get Word to revert to a version:

To revert to a version earlier office 2013 or 2016 Office in the form of installation of Office 365, you must use a command line and specify the build number, that you want to return.

    1. As Office 365 facilities are automatically updated in the background, you must disable the automatic updates first. This can be done in any application Office 365 via:
      File-> Office account-> Update Options-> disable updates
    2. Open a command prompt:
      1. Start-> type:cmd
      2. Click on: command prompt
      3. Choose: Run as administrator
      4. Provide your credentials to the administrator or to confirm the user account control dialog box when you are prompted.
    3. Type the command below that applies to your version of Office or Windows
      • Office 2016
        cd %programfiles%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRun\
      • 2013 office under Windows 32-bit
        cd %programfiles%\Microsoft Office 15\ClientX86\
      • 2013 desktop on 64-bit Windows
        cd %programfiles%\Microsoft Office 15\ClientX64\
    4. You can specify the number of bed to regain in the following way:
      officec2rclient.exe /update user updatetoversion=

      • Replace with the build number that you want to return. There is a preview of version numbers, you can return to the Office 2013 and 2016 Office.
      • Example to return to the release of January 2016 office:
        OfficeC2RClient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.6366.2062
      • Example to return to the release of January 2013 office:
        OfficeC2RClient.exe /update user updatetoversion=15.0.4787.1002
  • Acrobat online will allow me to combine pdf files?

He says explicitly in the text of presentation sales it will combine files, only that he will edit the etc.  Here is a collection of PDFs from different sources.  My old Acrobat 6.0 will work with some files but will can not see scanned pdf document from HP.  .  Before investing, I need to make sure that it will work.

    Hi Dean,

Yes Acrobat has the compatibility to combine pdf files.

You can download the fully functional Acrobat 11 Pro (download Acrobat products |) Standard, Pro | XI, X) and use it for 30 days and check if it fits your requirement and your purchase accordingly.

By 'Acrobat online', I think you talk to the PDF package where we create pdf, pdf export, etc. He also has the ability to combine files, but there is no free trial to use.

    Kind regards

  • Acrobat Pro read the content in the pdf file and turns?

Acrobat Pro reads the content in the PDF and Fourier Transforms to xls files without need of a lot of changes or manual work?

Acrobat X (Standard and Pro) will save tabular data in XLS or XLSX format, it can recognize the table as being a table. If the PDF file has missing or incorrect structure tags, Acrobat will try to guess the tabular presentation by the position of the text and lines on the page - this works well for basic formatting, but if the table has a complex style, spans cells etc. it can cause problems.

Acrobat X will try to export a table in a scanned document, by applying the OCR during the stage of export - yet once this is based on the table identified visually.

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 installed, but cannot read any PDF file from a browser window

I have a PC with Vista new(-ish) and had Adobe Acrobat installed v9.  However I can not open PDF files when you try to view in a browser on a web site.  IE8, Firefox, and Chrome all produce the same error that says I have to install Adobe 8 or 9.  Resulted to searched 'Manage Add-ons' and found Adobe.  Drove around but can't seem to find a way to solve this problem.  Any ideas?  This seems so basic that it is hard to believe that it happened in the first place, and (b) that there is not an obvious way to fix it!

I have exactly the same problem but with Windows XP SP3. Unfortunately, I can not install different browsers because of security controls in the DoD. It wasn't a problem with Adobe Reader 8.1.6 installed as pdf would open in IE7. Until I installed Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.2 is that it became a problem. IE7 crashes just trying to open a pdf file. Even if I try line Open all File Types and select a local pdf file, it crashes always upward.

I went through every possible case, IE7 option and registry permissions without result. Adobe support leans on it. I think it's a matter of ActiveX control (file).

  • AIO 922 crashes when you print pdf files

The printer worked perfectly for a number of years, and then all of a sudden this problem started.  When I print a pdf file I have class through the first page of the document, then the printer stops.  The screen says it's printing but nothing happens.  The only option is to disconnect and return later, try to print a regular file and then ends the original print job.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers and it worked for a short time, but now I'm at square one.  Someone give me some advice?

    Thank you

    maureenloza,

Print jobs spool usually on the computer sending the print job. If the computer has a small amount of RAM, then the print job will take more time. I have a print job, it is slow, I takes some time, breaks for printing, but she does not completely print. It depends on how much RAM you use on the system.

Run delete print jobs and then restart your computer.

Start, Control Panel control, devices and printers, right-click on your printer, left click on printer, advanced properties. Have your settings match mine.

    Click on apply, ok.

  • After that I upgraded from Acrobat Pro XI in Acrobat Pro DC I can't open pdf files in Internet Explorer 11.

I have a PDF document that connects to other pdf documents in the same file. The links work fine in the drive, but not when I open the pdf file of IE11. Can I disable the plugin and the link opens in the reader, but we want to be able to open in IE.

I use IE11 on Win7. I made the repair (no difference) and I don't get the error messages. I also tested with Windows 8

Just to confirm it works OK if I open the document in CD player but not in IE11. If I am controlled with IE11 and player XI the document and the links work fine in IE

You may need to wait than someone else who has an idea. Which was mine.
