After Effects after several months, I now can't launch After Effects without this error: After Effects can't continue: error when access to the files instead of inside "/ users/dsvp/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects / 13.8. There is no subfolder this Library which is the first obvious sign of something not going. I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice with the same error and lack of file structure. I do not understand why a re - install does not create the files and folders needed.

I'm subscribed to creative cloud Adobe for Adobe After effects. I did install it and when I try to open AE it gives me an error reading this: the application could not start correctly (0xc0000142). Now, I tried installing and reinstalling 3 times. I am running Windows 10 on my PC. It's an HP with an AMD Athlon (TM) II x 4 820 processor 2.80 GHz 8.00 GB Ram and 64-bit operating system. I don't know what to do. I did a lot of research, and I can't find answers anywhere. I have already installed CS5 and it works. The Media encoder provided with Creative Cloud AE also works. What is the problem why AE will not open. I am very frustrated and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Delete the Preferences file, and then restart After Effects.
After Effects CS4 preferences directory is here on Windows:
C:\Users\[user_name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\After Effects\9.0

After the After effects update to the new version (I've not deleted the old) I get and error when the AE opens, I could see the interface but after that I get the error:

(The software stop working properly for a problem. Windows will close the program and notify if there is no solution.)

Software in English, SO in Spanish.
Not the extensions or plugins installed (I think because I think they are all in the previous version, not in this one)
I already reinstalled the software
First new version works correctly
32 GB of ram
70 GB of space in the SSD
I7 3.4 ghz OC to 4 GHz

Hello! I have a problem with some of my creative Cloud programs install. So the thing is I'm working with a Windows 10 operating system and I have tried several times to download Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, but it doesn't always let me. Premiere Pro appears as "up-to-date" but with no button to open - it is not on the programs on my computer! And with After Effects, it seems just constantly with the ' we have a problem, please come back later "without giving any code error or something like that.
