  • Some, but not all, programs in CS6 Master Collection is more open, inviting the Adobe Application Manager

Here's my problem. I bought the CS 6 Master Collection when it came out. Everything was fine until recent months when some, but not all, programs won't open. When I run CS 6 Illustrator, Creative Cloud Adobe Application Manager opens. To renew your subscription? When I Subscription Manager, I said I have a free subscription to creative cloud. Agents chat Adobe told me that my creative cloud subscription is good.

What is strange, but I thank you, is that other programs, such as Photoshop CS6 and Dreamweaver CS6, open very well, without the detour over the impasse of Adobe Application Manager.

Through four chat sessions, I have been ordered to take various measures, which none have worked. The fuller was an uninstall of all Master CS6 Collection, run a cleaning of Adobe tool, then a reinstallation is complete. It took a while, but left me at the same place: Adobe Application Manager opens for 6, Illustrator CS, but CS 6 Dreamweaver and Photoshop 6 CS open very well.

After several tries, I somewhat lost a little confidence in agents chat for Adobe. Does anyone have a solution for this?

  • Adobe Application Manager does not display that Acrobat Pro XI is installed when it was

Adobe Application Manager does not appear that Acrobat Pro XI is installed when it was installed by the Adobe Application Manager. I tried clicking on the button in the application manager Adobe who installs the program again and gives a key to launch the installation program. But the next time Adobe Application Manager starts, it said: Acrobat Pro XI is not installed, when it was installed (and working). I am a subscriber of creative cloud on the Mac (MacOS 10.8.3). platform Adobe Applicationa Manager is version 7.0.0.324.

How can I get Adobe Application Manager to show that the program Acrobat Pro XI is installed?

    Thoughts?

    -john

I tried the suggestion Greg_M #1 first - without success. Then tried the suggestion #2 of Arpit - also without success. However, I discovered that the uninstall program running in 'Applications-> Utilities-> Adobe Installers folder' had not removed the file Acrobat Pro XI (he was still in his file in the Applications). Finally, what worked manages the uninstall program that was in the folder ACROBAT PRO (NOT the utililites folder). When I ran the uninstaller program, I had also ticked the box in preferences to delete (not sure if that matters).

All is well now. When I run Adobe Application Manager it says correctly that Acrobat XI is "installed".

Greg and David thanks for your help/suggestions!

  • Cannot install Adobe Application Manager 9 on Mac 10.10.4

I am OSX 10.10.4 and can't launch Adobe applications, told me to install the Application Manager 9, I try to only for the following error:

"We met the following problems. Setup could not initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem. »

By clicking on the link for the said Support Provider it is discontinued and returns me to the help forum and paid options to contact someone from Adobe directly.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Keith

The correct answer to the thread did not directly help, but knowing that there are more files in the folder utilities under Adobe Application Manager allowed me to try to delete all files from Adobe in this folder. After that, I was able to install the new application manager.

Advice to Adobe if you want:

Consider changing the installer to find and delete all the files in a conflict like this to the user to help with the installation process.

Thanks for the links to long conversations about similar issues,

Sorry for the delay of HaynesBM.  Our forums are very busy today with the recent announcement of creative cloud.

Can you please check that you do not have available installers always listed in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder?

Also to reinstall Adobe Application Manager it will be downloaded and ask to install when you click on the download button for applications which can be found at https://creative.adobe.com/.  Alterantely you can download the Mac OS of Adobe Application Manager version from the link available in the #3 message.

I don't really know what is happening here except pass the buck. I asked about a different question months ago and never received any response. Now, I have problem with Revel as does the entore would be and accidentally stumble on your answer to this question. As I followed the links to help directly from Revel help, I ask you for help. Send you it to the discussion of Revel. If I could find that I would not have asked your help. And if Revel was useful, Revel help files don't would not have directed me to you. So I can't go tro Revel help because I will be sent to you and I can't find the discussion of revel you sent my question, I'm in a catch-22 here. I don't know if it's intentional or not, but it is compatible with all my other research assistance, such as Photoshop and elements. My questions are never an answer help local pages with program itself can be found on the adobe site and after days looking for something similar to the problem, adobe managed to wear down me and I give up and get rid of the program.  Never once, I was able to only use items 11 due to installation and interfaqce problems wuth no response.  I rarely use Photoshop because despite what is said how easy it is to accomplish complex tasks, I found that there is nothing in Photoshop which cannot be done without all the fuss that allows to program and cheaper also. The only reason why I learned so much about what can do other programs is extra volume, I had delays and refusals of help from Adobe. If you have the time could you please tell me how to find discussions of revel or where ever is that my question has finished?

    Thank you very much.

  • Adobe Application Manager lists all versions of 2014 programs. How upgrading to these versions?

My Adobe application manager does not list the 2014 versions of basic programs. I need them for the work of my students, grade that my school is running these versions and I can't open my computer work.

    Thank you for your help

I got it while you wait for the answer. The "Application Manager", it's not how they settle (how would I know that). I installed the application "Adobe Creative Cloud" and got the new versions.

He was confused because the Application Manager installed 4 Nov. Very recently the time! (but just before updating my OS to Yosemite, OK Duh). And of course the Yosemite changed the appearance and features of everything, including the present, so everything what I was doing which should be intuitive was less.

    Hi michaell67763173,

Which operating system you are using?

    > Restart your computer and then try to update again.

    Or

Mac: Adobe all force them to leave the activity monitor processes (for example Adobe application manager, sync Core, Desktop Services, broker CIB Adobe Adobe, Adobe Crash demon etc..)

Windows: Force quit Adobe all processes from the Task Manager (for example Adobe application manager, sync Core, Office Services, Adobe, broker IPC from Adobe, Adobe Crash demon etc..)
