Adobe CC constantly asking the same updates daily

OK, so I've had this problem for about 6 months now. Whenever I restart my computer, the same CC updates are appearing, in spite of perform the updates at each new session. I renamed the file AAM Updater as explained here by Romsinha Re: why CC Apps can reproduce the same all day for updates? And it works for awhile, then I have to start AGAIN and AGAIN because the issue continues to be. Is Adobe aware of this problem and they are actively trying to fix? Or are they happy with sub par performance CC and this bug annoying?

I know I'm not the only one. Many other people on this forum and elsewhere on the web have this same problem. Time to fix Adobe and stop embarrassing your loyal customers.

  • Windows Vista update, constantly offering the same updates

Well, the title of my post was just to make things seem worse than they really are. But I think it's a bug, not less.

I just installed Windows Security Essentials. "Windows Update" keeps me showing that there are both updates optional available through the installation of "Windows Security Essentials". They are updated definition for this software. They are two 3.7 MB. KB, KB2310138, numbers are both the same, but the details see the numbers of different virus definition. The definition of a 1.97.1086.0 and the other is 1.97.840.0. If I install one updates it installs correctly and everything is fine, except that Microsoft Update tells me there is 1 additional optional upgrade for me to install which is annoying and misleading. If I install "both" the KB2310138 updated simultaneously or in succession he confused Windows Update all together and go back to square 1 saying that there is 'optional' 2 updates I can install it. I don't know what is happening, but there is definitely a bug in the middle of all this chaos.

Maybe someone could tell me if these "Windows Security Essentials" definition updates are cumulative, so that if you later you don't need all the updates of prior definition or are non-cumulative? Thank you.

  • Constantly offered the same updates

For the last two months, a notice appears telling me that there are updates ready to install.  After closing the evening, I let the machine go through the installation process.  However, in the morning, the notice of update is still in place.  The specific uupdates are KB 979909 KB 982524 KB 982168.  How can I get to install them or how can I get rid of them entirely (since they seem to have little interest in my surgery)?

  • Windows Update is constantly updated with the same updates successfully, why?

When I run updates on my computer, and then install one should it be installed they still install successfully.  But today I watched my story because it was as if I had already installed the same updates previously, and I reason I installed it successfully, the same updates several times.  Wear it the same number () after the name of the update.  Why is it that happens, is it supposed to do that? And if not how to fix it?

  • Why Windows asks me to install the same updates several times. Often several times the same updates and often several times in the same day?

I install security updates and important. Sometimes in the same day, I wonder to install the same updates. When I check the history I see that they are already installed. This can happen several times in the same day.

Troubleshooting Windows Update or Microsoft Update when you are repeatedly offered an update

    UTC/GMT is 00:34 Sunday, March 11, 2012

  • Repeatedly offered the same update

Windows Update keeps trying to install the same update (KB981852) again and again. Whenever update is a new update, downloads and installs it. He says that the update has been successfully installed. When the dialog box is closed, a new dialog box appears and wants to download the same update. This is repeated 10 times and I can't seem to stop trying to install this update.

First of all, it's a little strange that answer appears PA bear prior to a post submitted more than 12 hours. before him. Also, it is strange that I never was warned of his assignment until I was informed that it was marked as a response, so I never had the opportunity to react before it has been marked as an answer.

My bad for not specifying not what operating system it has produced, but a quick search on Google for the update number of, whowas in my post, would have revealed that this is a update of security for Windows XP (mine is 32-bit). The machine is the free version of Comcast of Norton Security Suite installed and is therefore always up to date. Norton manages spyware blocking (although the Defender is much less than it is in any case). And of course, Norton provides the firewall (although I had to manually turn off the Windows Firewall three times after installing Norton; it was before installing the update above). It was a totally clean, after being shaped and test of surface, installed Windows XP Home OEM from an installation disc (I am a member of the Microsoft Partner Network). There are three other machines Windows XP here (2 with Pro) and the other with the House, all the 32 bits that had recently reinstalled OS which has not experienced this problem when the same update has been installed on them and all had Comcast of Norton installed before the offered update version. It's news to me that there is a toll free number to get free assistance for the security updates, it seems to be a well-kept secret, that I can find no mention of this inyour research support, on or off the Microsoft Web site.

Yet, none of the foregoing is an answer to my question, as seems to be preferred on the Microsoft Forums, unless it is summarily assumed that the applicant is a fool, then all the possible solutionsobvious are specified, even when the applicant stated that he had tried these thingsbefore asking for help.

In all cases, the problem seems to have been resolved by simply saying to Windows Update to stop advising me of the update.

  • Updated continuously offers the same updates, which I've already refused

I prefer to choose what updates I receive.  No, I never use "automatic updates".  I don't have Office 2007.  Whenever I turn on my computer updated tells my "new updates are available"... but it's the same update, I uncheck every time.  Is it possible to set this kind accepts updates updates thatI don't WANT OFFICE 2007 and managed to stop offering the same thing repeatedly.  It's a waste of time and if there is no way to do leave offer the same update I still refuse... SHOULD THERE BE!

I need a frame that says: "if I rejected this particular update.  STOP ASKING ME!.

If you do not want to install an update via windows update, right-click the update, and click Hide update

The update you selected will be hidden, and windows appear yet again for this update notifications

    hope this helps

  • Same updates daily!

I wonder update Photoshop and Bridge every day. It has happened to more than a week. At first I just thought - this is ridiculous, why should Adobe to update these things every day, now I realize that updates FAIL.  They are the same.

What happens is, I see the updates icon, so I click on "update all".  "CC then apparently full updates and everything is fine, until I have reopen CC, then said ' 2 updates" once again - the same updates.  I can just do it again and again and nothing will change - apps don't are never really updated.

    Help, please

  • The same updates Windows 7 repeatedly attempt to install

So, my sound keeps cutting. Whenever he does I know that Microsoft has decided to install the same update. I'm going to the start menu, and, of course, there are the little exclamation point on the shield. I'll click it... and it will disconnect me, start closing down and the installation. Its always install a part 8. And I'm almost certain it's the same "update" 'installed' and more and more; even if it's Windows, I could be wrong... more strange things happened. How can I prevent this, or at least to get a more useful update that I did not install several times / day and stops at my mute. It is quite frustrating. Thanks :)
