Adobe Flash Player is a 32-bit for my 64-bit operating system is that a problem?
I have a HP110-014 and just put it together, but find that it does not allow me to post videos on Youtube and says that I don't have Adobe Flash player on my computer. But when I try to load Adobe Flash player, it is said that Adobe is pre-installed on my Windows 8 operating system. Yet, when I check the Adobe Flash player on my system, this is the 32-bit version and my system is 64-bit. IUs this a problem?
Hello
It is normal that flash to run as a 32-bit exe on a 64 bit system.
If it does not work, try a new installation of the Flash plug-in as follows.
First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.
Once the download is complete, close all the browser windows, open your downloads folder and run the program uninstaller. After this has completed, restart the laptop.
Then (unless you already have it), download and install Firefox , then using Firefox, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You can deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before download.
Close all browser windows before you run the installer of Flash.
Start Firefox and see if the videos etc. play Ok in this browser - if they do, close Firefox, open Internet Explorer and click on the same link Adobe Flash above to get a command prompt to install the ActiveX component. Once completed, restart Internet Explorer.
Kind regards

Hello Lf1,
Thank you for choosing Microsoft answers forum for windows vista.
I suggest you to download and install Microsoft Silverlight on your computer from the link below.
http://www.Microsoft.com/Silverlight/get-started/install/default.aspx
If this does not work, I suggest to get the Macromedia one, you can contact Adobe for more information on the supported platforms.

If you think that Adobe Flash player is not a suitable plugin, you have a suggestion for an alternative? I've been using Google Chrome, but I told myself that they will not prohibit Adobe as well. I play 'King' of games such as Candy Crush, as well as others, and I will not renounce my games. I tried looking for an alternative a few months ago because Adobe crashes every day, but I went to the wrong site and downloaded a virus instead. Any suggestion that you can give me would be great. Thank you for your time.

Everything you've read that Mozilla has declared no longer supports the Adobe Flash Player is incorrect. Mozilla supports still Flash but currently has all previous versions on a deadlock due to critical vulnerabilities. https://addons.Mozilla.org/Firefox/blocked/
Mozilla puts only versions of Plugins (and Extensions that are malicious software) which are serious security (criticism), as well as reasons of stability. Unfortunately just about every version of Flash player is on red list since December because feats experienced Sailor and in current versions of time.
Current versions of the plugin base of Flash player for Windows and Mac OS x are not listed but Linux version is due to Adobe not having an update still which is unusual. https://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
As you can see Adobe has been busy trying to solve the exploits in their Flash Player at the last moment. https://helpx.Adobe.com/security.html#flashplayer
Regarding the Flash alternatives that may or may not work or partially according to the operating system and the site used are Unity Web Player, GNU Gnash and Lightspark.

Lord I'm back
You have done a few separate posts on this problem. You have been deceived into downloading something by malicious actors.
There is a good possibility that:
- You have provided your credit card number to criminals. You must contact your bank to cancel the charges and issue you a new card.
- You have probably installed malicious software on your computer. You'll probably want to work with an expert to resolve this, and/or format the machine completely and start again.
- Once you got the computer back to a State that you can trust, it's probably a good time to change all your passwords, especially for something important...
Please, always download software directly from the manufacturer's website.
You can download a copy of legitimate, free Flash Player here:

Adobe Flash Player v16.0.0.305 for Opera on Windows 7 can not be installed
When you download the file for Windows 7, it have a size of only 1 MB, 16.3 MB, which indicates the download page.
When you run the installer, it opens a window with no options.
Hi Jorge,.
It's the Installer (which is 1 MB) online. Then, it downloads and installs Flash Player silently in the background. We are aware to post it on the white screen with the installer online and are working on a fix.
In the meantime, you can use Setup offline full (16 MB). The download of the installer is displayed at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows page, in the section "problems".

BEX with Adobe Acrobat error on Vista 32-bit operating system
I am running Vista Home Premium (32 bit) and get a Windows error message when I try to get a PDF with a password Adobe Acrobat 8.1. Reads the error message Windows: "Adobe Acrobat has stopped working. (The problem event name is BEX). And when I click on 'Check online for a solution and then close the probram', he just seems to close the program. I searched for an answer online (Adobe and Microsoft), but can't seem to find something close to what I feel. Can anyone help?
Hello
Have you installed the toolbar with Adobe Acrobat?
BEX errors often are caused by toolbars such as Google, TrendMicro and others. Are you using a 3rd party
toolbars in Internet Explorer? Cause and solution is the same for Vista and Windows 7.What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you ALREADY had on this
machine, including those you have uninstalled (they leave remnants behind which emits causes).Start - all programs - Accessores - system tools - IE with no Addons - does this work better?
IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore advanced settings, and then click RESET - APPLY / OK
IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security tab - click on Reset all areas - APPLY / OK
Close and restart IE or IE with no addons
Start - all programs - Accessores - system tools - IE with no Addons - does this work better?
IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if it is there, it is no longer necessary but Java always install

Also not all the BHO is bad, that some managed bars of tools and features that you added.

I'm on a MAC and my password does not work, I reset my password and I can not even download Adobe Flash Player.
This password is presented by your operating system and is designed to prevent you from accidentally installing the software.
If it comes to your personal computer and you don't need a password to connect to the computer when it first starts, you can probably leave the password blank and click OK to go to this prompt. If it comes to your personal computer and your normal password does not work, make sure that CAPS LOCK SHIFT is off, and then type the password carefully.
If this is your work machine and he asks an administrator password, well, you will need to have a conversation with your computer friendly.
If you are still puzzled, you may need to reset the password on your Mac:
