Adobe Flash Player is out of date popup panel

Periodically, I get a group of pop up on my desk that says that my Adobe Flash Player is out of date.  I check their site, and I am currently with version: 17.0.0.134.

Some examples of signs.  These panels are legitimate? Thank you!!

Doubtful that they are legitimate. your system is infected with malware, or visiting infected websites.

Download only the updates of the Flash Player from adobe.com and macromedia.com site:

P.S. your installed Flash Player version 17.0.0.134 is up-to-date, so you get all these notifications from Adobe.

You can disable the blocking of modules in Firefox and remove the file blocklist.xml in the profile folder.

    Disable these prefs.
Extensions.blocklist.Enabled = change this pref to false
Extensions.blocklist.URL = delete the url if Firefox can't find the server where this file is sent from

  • Adobe Flash Player missing, even though I've updated several times.

    Hello
While I was on a website I use commonly, an error pops up telling me that I had to update or download a flash player to play a song. It was not normal because that I have updated Adobe Flash less than a week ago to the latest version of their official website, due to the same problem. I proceeded on the Adobe Flash site and, because I was unable to find another solution, installed the drive yet, guess that there is a newer version.

Meanwhile, before installing the "newer" version, I tried the same link on other browsers, I had - Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. Surprisingly, it worked. However, I prefer firefox, so I'm still trying to solve this problem.

The installer told me to close firefox, so I did. After what seemed to be a successful installation, I opened Firefox again and re-tried the link, as well as a few others. The same message has popped up and it was NOT an ad - I'm perfectly capable of recognizing a message from the Web site of an ad. I then went to another site, and the following message appeared: "Adobe Flash Player is out of date. Please update. "Current version: 0.0.0.

Surprised by all this, I went to check my Flash Player. I have on several Web sites, and they all gave the same answers - my flash drive is missing. It is quite strange, taking the fact that I put a week ago and 15 minutes before checking it in. What I also noticed is that I am still able to open youtube videos and listen to a few songs. That's about all, I am currently in a position to do so.

I don't want to change my browser because I have used Firefox for a long time, and prefer it in front of other browsers. Please help me to leave it like that. I've never had this happen to me.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Problem installing Adobe Flash Player for Mac Air (Yosemite)

I got a message saying that my Adobe Flash Player is out of date. This seemed strange because I had been to access the videos of the previous hour without any problems. I went ahead and opened the Mac version download of the Adobe site setup. Installation began, and after the entry of a password to Admin, the download has reached 25% almost immediately. Unfortunately, it's been blocked 25% since then. I tried to do it again, removing the download and the re - download the update without success. I've also temporarily disabled my AdBlock and AdBlock Plus. I tried to uninstall AFP so I could start again, but the box that is supposed to tell me what version of uninstaller for download has error message says I need to update AFP.

    How can I fix?

Edit: I thought I was downloading an AFP for an earlier operating system (I'm under 10.10.2). I made sure to download the latest version of the AFP for Mac possible. The installation is now stuck at 30%. (Just to be clear, I downloaded the package without problem - the problem is with the installation of the program itself stopping at 30 %.))

Edit 2: I figured out that uninstall the package that I needed (using this page: Uninstall Flash Player |) Mac OS) but after reinstallation AFP, he is still stuck at 25% of download.

Edit 3: The message "failed to connect. Trying to reconnect"appeared, quickly followed by"the connection failed ". Guess I'll try again.

  • Adobe flash player update my site cash! says flash player updated?

My adobe flash player is up to date.  When I go on my site of Fund he said flash obsolete!

This seems pretty common.  Your CU is unable to correctly detect the Flash (it seems unlikely if it worked in recent history), or a change in Safari has usefully disabled Flash for you.

The following guidelines may be useful:

Activate the Flash Player for Safari

You can check by going to a site simple Flash like the one below.  If you see the animation, you use the Flash, it is simply not detected by the site, and they need to fix their code.

If this does not help, a new installation of Flash Player can help Safari to find him:

    Uninstall Flash Player - Mac:

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/uninstall-Flash-Player-Mac-OS.html

Then take a Virgin installer from here:

Pepper plugins are not used by Firefox.

This API is for Chrome and Opera browsers, and it should not even appear in a list of Firefox Plugins or the Manager of the Addons > Plugins. It is a 'fault' or a Bug in the installer and must be fixed by Real Networks. My advice is to just ignore it.

Now, if you see this message here - http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ - can provide you with a screenshot of what you're watching?

How to make a screenshot of my problem?
It is best to use a type of compressed as PNG or JPG image to save the screenshot and make sure you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.

Then use the button Browse... below the text message response area to download the screenshot.

This Plugin Check page was performed on all browsers of 'service', but has recently Mozilla Firefox only and they cannot switch off analysis for API extensions for other non - Mozilla of. IOW, do not allow a person who uses IE to use the Web page (as I just experienced when I used IE here), but the scan stiil looking for ActiveX and pepper API 'plugins' in the registry?
Perhaps "other browsers" are disabled temporarily because of the recent eruption of updates Flash and Mozilla blocking the exploited, older versions of Flash, and once things return to normal on this page loads they intend to allow "other browsers" to access this page?

  • Yahoo! GameChannel popup says "Upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player"

    4. whenever I click on the link to popup GameChannel during a professional sports event in the pages of Yahoo! 5. link to a web page that illustrates the problem: Yahoo Sports-Sports News, Scores, rumors, Fantasy games and more (NOTE: in order to reproduce the problem, I have to click a live sport event - say, NFL, College Football game, etc - and then click on the link above the "dashboard direct" GameChannel.)  The pop-up window will be displayed with the message "update".)

    Thank you in advance.

First of all, check that the ActiveX filtering is configured to allow Flash content:

    https://forums.Adobe.com/thread/867968

Internet Explorer 11 introduced a number of changes both in the way the browser is identified with remote web servers, and how it treats JavaScript for behavior targets specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the provider of content changes their site to conform to the new approach to development required by the modern versions of IE.

You can try to work around these problems by using the compatibility view:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Internet-Explorer/use-compatibility-view#IE=ie-11

If it's too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a better alternative.

  • How to find / search the text in a table of data displayed in adobe flash player?

I have a table of data displayed on the browser, but with Adobe Flash Player UI technology. CTRL + f does not work on the table to find a specific word in the table.

What are alternates, you ask? or all the other shortcuts are available to search or search the text in such a case?

    Thank you.

There is no good workaround solution.  The developer would have needed to implement a similar feature in their Flash application, or they would have needed to use StageText (which essentially exposes the native textfields), but it seems that they have neither.  The HTML TextField is certainly more robust and functional of the Flash, and honestly, HTML is probably a better choice of technology for what you describe.

  • I can't get Adobe Flash Player to date on my Mac. It keeps telling me to close Safari, even if it is closed. I tried all the suggestions on the Adobe site and always get the same results. Thanks for any help

I can't get Adobe Flash Player to date on my Mac. It keeps telling me to close Safari, even if it is closed. I have tried every thing on the Adobe site to solve the problem with the same results still. I went to the site of both Mac and said to go to Adobe for a solution. It worked fine as a new Mac in February, but it will not update now, so no Flash Player ay all. Thanks for any help.

By clicking the red dot on the safari window it minimizes, but leave the program running.

To exit Safari completely, open Safari by clicking on the dock icon, and then choose Safari > Quit Safari to the upper left of the screen.
