Adobe flash player will not work

My Inspiron computer get infected with Malware and my Internet Explore disappeared.  I had the virus to remove and reinstall Internet explorer.  Now I can't load the adobe flash player.  She shows in computer programs, but will not work.  When I open the games especially on Facebook it says I need to update flash player.  What should I do now? Is there something already in Windows 7, which replaces the flash drive, HELP!

1. Uninstall Flash player using the Flash removal tool, available here:

http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/141/tn_14157.html

NOT to do so via Dashboard-> programs & features.

2. go in Start-> all programs-> Internet Explorer (not the one that says 64-Bit)

3. go to the website www.adobe.com

4. click on the 'Get Adobe Flash Player '.

5. follow the prompts to download and install Macromedia Flash Player.

Now, all you have to remember is that you must use the version of Internet Explorer, mentioned in step 1 above if you want to use Flash Player. That's what I do all the time.

NOTE: If you use Windows 7 32 - Bt ignore references to 64-bit.

  • Adobe Flash Player does not work in Win 10

I installed Windows 10 at the end of July and immediately noticed that I couldn't see all the videos and Adobe Flash Player does not seem to work, but the noise was present.  The video screen was a series of green lines and nothing visible.  I tried 10 IE and Mozilla Firefox, and neither wouldn't work.  I couldn't get any help from Microsoft, and on the community positions, is not any problem similar to mine.  Finally back to Win 7 Professional (easy to do) and no problems at all with the videos.  Ongoing MS do pop - ups ' "remind me to install Win 10, but until I think they corrected this problem, or at least acknowledged, I'll stick with Win 7.

In previous versions of windows, the adobe 'hardware acceleration' caused green screens often, try to change that if you can Flash W10.

See - https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1927939?start=0&tstart=0 and follow up on the link for details and other things to test. Don't know which applies directly to W10 however, but it can at least give a few pointers.

  • MSG for error ProgramFiles\SearchExtensions\Client.exe & Avira does not update & Adobe Flash Player does not work

Hello.  My computer is running XP.  My cpu is Intel Core 2 Duo processor.  Sometimes I use Firefox and Chrome.

At startup, there is always a prompt that shows "C:\Program Extensions\Client.exe Search make sure that you type the word correctly and try again".  With it, there is a white rectangular black box with label on top "C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe.  With her, I also noticed my antivirus Avira will be not updated.  It says "Your PC does not work properly", and when I click on "Difficult problem", it says "error" and does not always update.  And with her also, I can't update Adobe Flash Player.  It downloads, and then when I click "Run", he always says 'error' could not retrieve the data it needs.

I tried to uninstall and install new Avira, and it's always the same problem.  I am also afraid that I can't watch my favorite videos from YT because it requires an update to Adobe Flash Player.

I searched the internet for problems Client.exe and svchost.exe, and in one of the answers with Client.exe and taskeng.exe problems microsoft, I tried to follow somehow solutions step by step.  They require that you are looking for a task scheduler or folder tasks and I discovered my computer is not all that.  Any Scheduler task and in System32, no task folder.  Because you need to search for files with "rocket" in there and delete it.  Others find it useful.  I don't know if this is the case even with my computer.

I also try to do a system restore.  He has yet to eliminate the prompt error Client.exe and svchost.exe.  After I did, there is a message box that says "Avira CCPLG. XML file is missing.  I searched the internet, but nowhere, you can download this missing file.

I hope that my computer has no need of a reformat.  I hate reformatting.  Also, what is ADWCleaner?  Is it advisable?

Help.  I need "simple" solutions  If you have any other questions regarding this problem, please bear with me, because I'm not a techie.  Hope that everyone out there can help me.

    Thank you.

    Oh Yes...

Looking at a different Google search results, in addition to deleting "rocket"-oriented tasks, they mention using Autoruns to delete any "rocket" focused on the startup items that you may have:

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=mKchQdXjuPA

It is a good idea and you can get Autoruns here:

    https://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

Autoruns is the program Windows msconfig on steroids.

Just download it, unzip it in our office or somewhere you can find it, run Autoruns.exe, enlarge the window, you can see everything and wait until it finishes populating the list of entries.

When the Autoruns is finished scanning your system, it will say "Ready" in the lower left corner.  Autoruns can be a little intimidating to first if you have never seen it before because it displays a lot of information.  You are really interested only a few sections.

Look at everything and log tabs and you can also see your scheduled tasks.  You can also click on the "Find" button (looks like binoculars) and looking for something to do with the 'rocket', and delete them. "."

The items that appear in a color shrimpy came not "signed" with third party programs, that you have installed, and are not usually a problem.  The manufacturer just didn't "sign" their files properly.

The items that appear in a yellow color are the entries that point to a file, the path, the place that doesn't exist so that they are a bit suspicious because they probably don't make sense more.  I usually just delete those yellow, but sometimes they come back.

Autoruns does not install anything on your system - it just runs on request, so you can keep around or remove it when you're done (nothing to uninstall).

  • Adobe Flash Player will not install.

I tried several times to install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, but it WON'T install.  It downloads fine, but when you click on install, load the Adobe's Installation file (window), but that he was doing the lock of my computer.  Why?  I had 13. What is installed and it has worked well, but kept getting a message that I needed to update the flash player, but the computer will not be installed.  He installed the other updates very well, so what gives.  When you try to install, the window is displayed, but does not install and the computer crashes.  I DO not close the Explorer window and even updated my IE from 10 to 11.  Still will not install.

Another problem I have is that the ANT downloader will not work either.  I click on it to download a file will not download YouTube downloader, but when you try to use it, it says that it is disabled.  Yet, when you go to "Manage Add on", and clicking it, it shows the Ant.com downloader is indeed enabled, but it will not work too.  They are linked, or do I have to have two separate problems?

Uninstall Flash player and re-install the latest version of download and run the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller.

  • Flash Player will NOT work in 8.1 Windows useless

I'm now regretting upgrading to Windows 8.1 Flash Player will (even after following ALL the recommended fixes on the forums) does NOT work in Windows 8.1 it is now clear that there is no official reason - fix if there is, Microsoft would put an update which should fix the problem. As a result, we end up with a bunch of patched-together patches unofficial "maybe it works" - neither works.

As for many others with this problem, I have Windows 8.1, 64 bit system with IE 11. Yes, I have the latest version of the flash player installed. Yes, I see the bouncing ball or whatever the hell it is in the gray box... or clouds moving in the other box. Yes, Shockwave active in Manage Add-ons. Yes, the ActiveX filtering is not verified in respect of the security. I went through this list so many times, that my head is spinning. The most annoying part when I 'test' to see if the latest version of Flash is installed (sigh, of course, it is) this is the message: "you are not running IE in Windows 8" good duuhhh.» Of course I'm not. I just upgraded to your platform 8.1 stupid.

If someone is asleep at the switch from Microsoft? They roll 8.1 and screw everyone who installs it when it does not work with Flash? Shouldn't they tested this first? Why this problem has not been fixed yet? It is obvious that I'm not the only one who is frustrated beyond the point of view of white to this incompetence.

Anyone know if there is a fix coming out of this outrageous mistake? Or will just sit us and twiddle thumbs as the gang at Microsoft?

Flash Player is actually integrated in Internet Explorer on Windows 8 and 8.1.  There is nothing for you to download or install it from Adobe.

After the description of the problem, looks like you're going to a Web site and send a message that Flash Player is not found.

On most sites, there is JavaScript that determines which version of your browser and Flash are installed, so that it can determine what content to show you.  In Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft has changed the string that identifies Internet Explorer for these scripts, and it is very likely that the Web site you are visiting needs to make adjustments to account for the change.  There will probably be a chaotic transition period, as web properties major pointed out the problem and fix it.

Meanwhile, Mike's suggestions are good.  Use Compatibility Mode or another browser.  You can also contact the website (especially if they have a small shop) to make them aware of the problem.  You are on the end at the beginning of the adoption curve, and they may need up to a leader.

    Thank you!

  • Adobe Flash Player does not work

I have down loaded many times flash player and adobe says it is now running, but it does not work. It does not appear in all programs, but if I remove programs it is there.   My printer is connected wireless and prints fine, when I try to scan the printer and the computer says that the other is not there.

Flash Player is a web browser instead of a standalone application, so it is not supposed to appear in all programs. To check that it is correctly installed:

-Go to Start-> Control Panel-> programs and features and check that it is registered.

-Open Internet Explorer and go to Manage Add-ons , select all add-ons from the drop-down list on the left, and then select toolbars and Extensions and check that you have Shockwave object shown at right and that it is enabled.

-Go to a Web site that uses Flash Player (like YouTube) and verify that you can watch videos, etc.

  • Adobe flash player does not work in the browser of ff. Works in IE, Win 7, Firefox 4, Flash 11 operating. . ?

I've recently upgraded to the beta version of ff and updated my adobe flash player and can no longer view flash in the browser. Have tried all the combinations of installation/uninstallation. Everything works on 64 bit - most up-to-date downloads. What Miss me?

When I open IE, flash works - exclude problems with flash and graphics card. Yes ff, you're on.

So, I realized that one of my extensions was causing the problem. I disabled it and now everything works. Thanks for the help with this very frustrating issue.
