Adobe Fonts

Hello

Sorry for my English, it is not very good. I want to start a small business, where I want to do a few cups with the graphics I do. I don't know if I can use all the fonts that are in Adobe Illustrator, after I installed it. Is this what I need to buy or learn? Just need to know, don't want any problem of law... I was working in an internet shop, who was doing something simillar, but I am not sure that it was good.

Thanks again for the reply and sorry for my language.

If you have the fonts on your computer you can use them for commercial purposes.

  • Where is the folder/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Fonts CS6?

    Hi people,

I've recently updated to Mac OS X Yosemite and I now get a conflict with my Neue Helvetica postscript fonts and system fonts.

So I turned off the activation of postscript Helvetica Neue fonts (I use FontExplorer X Pro 5) and put these fonts in the folder/Applications/Adobe InDesign CS6 / Fonts. This solution worked. Conflict of policies went away and I could happily use my fonts in InDesign.

However, I need to use these fonts in other Adobe applications also. So I was wondering if there was a record of general policies for CS6.

I read online to a folder/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Fonts but perhaps it is an earlier version of Creative Suite, because I can't seem to locate it.

    Thank you

  • With the help of Adobe fonts

I have a license of InDesign. I relised, what can I use adobe fonts in the books, I'll sell. I just have one question: can I use PDF of the book, I designed in InDesign in Adobe fonts (for example - Minion Pro) and give it in this font for display on the web page? Or download? (The download is not required). Thank you

You can use Adobe fonts for embedding in a PDF or EPUB file. There should be no problem.

  • Adobe fonts are licensed for use in the ebooks?

Can anyone confirm that the Adobe fonts - specifically Minion Pro - to be licensed for use in ebooks, but also printed books? i.e. There is no need to buy the police twice - once with a license to print and the other with a license for e-books.

I have a client who is willing to buy the police with ebook license, but on MyFonts, the only option is "desktop." I know that the permission of the police is "Editable embedding", but we don't know exactly what this means.

    Thanks in advance.

Minion Pro and all other fonts under licensed by Adobe can be incorporated in ePub and PDF.

How to update or download all the fonts in my Adobe Adobe Acrobat X Pro?

Get the police does not always help, but to use a font you don't add it to Acrobat. Add you on Mac or Windows.

  • Not accessible Adobe fonts in Word 2011, 2016 to Word for MAC

Adobe fonts appear correctly in the new 2016 for Mac Word (and there are problems with Word 2011, too).  For example, I have Adobe Garamond regular, bold, italic and BoldItalic installed (I had uninstalled Semibold and SemiboldItalic because I wanted the 'bold' to appear as "BOLD" and not Semibold when selecting "Bold" in Word). But the word 2016, when you select Adobe Garamond, there is no true "BOLD" or true bold italic when I select "Bold" or "Italic" (or Adobe Garamond Bold is only a separate autonomous police, on the menu) - only regular and italic.  Same thing with Adobe Caslon Pro.  I had similar problems with Word 2011 for Mac - often the true "BOLD" and for Adobe Garamond BoldItalic will not work.  But I can solve the problem of trashing the Office 2011 police cache and then restart Word.  I can't identify this solution workaround for Word 2016.  (I know it sounds like a social problem or Mac, but it only happens with Adobe fonts).

Interestingly, if I reinstall Adobe Garamond Semibold and Semibold Italic, Word 2016 will give me true Semibold and SemiboldItalic when I select "Bold" and "Italic" in Word.  But true "BOLD" and BoldItalic are nowhere to be found.

    Thank you.

Have you tried to contact Microsoft about this because the fonts appear obviously in FontBook, Adobe applications and applications other than Office without problem. The fact that the clearing the cache of fonts Office 2011 seems to eliminate the problem for you, it would be indicative of what is a Microsoft issue, not a question of Adobe.

  • How can I install my type 1 Adobe Font Folio (around 2002) on my Windows 7 PC?

I recently had to move to a PC running windows 7, I can't install fonts. I don't use any software of management of fonts because I only need to use a handful of fonts. The individual files on the disc (old - 2002ish) do not have extensions. They are separated into 2 files; for example "AGarBol" 0KB and '._AGarBol' 56KO the PC does not recognize one of them. I tried to add a .pfb / .pfm extension on both, it starts to install but error .pfm file. Help!

Apparently, you try to move Type 1 of MacOS fonts on a Windows System. Who does not work for a certain number of technical reasons.

You go back to the original CD or DVD on which your copy of Adobe Font Folio. Versions of Windows, fonts (including the .pfb and .pfm files) are on this separate media since versions of MacOS.

  • Adobe Fonts for logos, print, etc.

Between Apple and Adobe, they make up 99.9% of my software as well as 99% of my income.

As a novice Freelancer I would some simple explanations of an administrator, representative of Adobe or anyone who has talked with them about the rights of use of fonts.

I have not undestand why someone would never buy fonts for personal use, but that's NOT what I do. I use them to create logos and print documents for CUSTOMERS. These documents are not created for the 'fun '. Although sometimes they end up being fun

Can I use the fonts supplied by Adobe to be bought or who come with their software to:

    (1) create a logo, brocheure or card for a client that will be used commercially?

    (2) change the type (kerning, serifs) to design a logo, brocheure or card for a client that will be used

    in the trade?

    (3) do I read each EULA for the fonts supplied with Adobe software or the EULA for all fonts

    installed on the applicable software?

    (4) I know NOT to send electronic files to my clients and to incorporate the police so that they can not get the police on

their computer. Is "built-in" fonts for my projects ok?

I'm so confused. I do not understand why it cannot be a simple answer to these big companies. I understand that buying individual policies of foundries through databases and reading of each EULA are imperative, but not for these corporations.

Sorry, it is just went through this with Apple, and many people give variable responses.

I would like to try again!

There's only a EULA from Adobe for fonts and it applies to all the fonts under licensed by Adobe, the police has been designed by Adobe or bought out by Adobe to another Foundry. Just read a EULA from Adobe.

All fonts under licensed by Adobe allow at least see and print embedding (and will have no additional fee for the distribution of PDF and EPS in which these fonts are included), which means that you can use these fonts for logo design, printing, etc.

Since there is that a single EULA for all fonts licensed from Adobe, Font Folio product is very easy to use from a legal point of view. All the fonts Adobe allow your use for logo design, printing, etc. (otherwise, they wouldn't actually unnecessary?)

  • Rules concerning the use of Adobe fonts on clothes?

I was just designing a shirt for me, some people also want to buy when I make copies. Now, I was planning on using my favorite police, magnesium MVB STD, which is an Adobe font.

Do you need to ask or pay extra money in this case Adobe? Or allow for the coverage of the police everything you do with it?

You can view the license for this font. But way General, most of the fonts would constitute an obstacle to prints, license wise. Only if you shared the font file, or if you have requested that you created this font you can expect trouble. But even this is not always the case (file-sharing of fonts that is) and more companies offer benefits for the coating and in certain circumstances such as sending files to a printer fonts can be authorized under the license.

When ever in doubt look at the license that is usually included in the download, part of a software or on the web site of companies. And if that doesn't highlight communicating with direct society are the best. Its always better to ask than to the lies at the end of an important trial.

  • Adobe Fonts in TrueType?

    Hi guys,.

I wonder if it is still possible to buy fonts Truetype (TTF) from Adobe?

I understand the broken between TTF and OTF, but due to technical constraints, we are requiring a TTF version.

I had a look at various font conversion tools, but while they do the work, I feel a TTF official from Adobe would be much better.

So basically, anyone know if I can buy the old fonts TTF? The font I'm after in particular is 'Myriad Pro SemiCondensed'.

Any help much appreciated, thanks in advance.

    Adobe never produced the main body of their Truetype fonts;

HOWEVER, at the time of the FontFolio 10, they produced a small subset

of what they called the AdobeWeb group Truetype, including the format

Myriad condensed (not Pro, since Pro features are not yet available)

and are not available in Truetype)

I don't know if they still sell these, or they are

commercially available. Adobe now promotes Web Adobe fonts through the

Typekit, a Web pages-specific subscription service.

Here is the complete list of what Adobe offer:

    Caflisch Script Web.ttf

    Giddyup Web.ttf

    Mezz Web Bold.ttf

    Minion Web Bold.ttf

    Minion Web Italic.ttf

  • Legal to use Adobe fonts in a logo?

I have developed a logo for a client that integrates the text using an Adobe Font Face(Clarendon in this case). The customer asks me if the license of police take into account for this. In other words, I had to sell a logo for a client that includes an Adobe font converted to outlines. Would be this interpreted as resell the font face? I searched through the conditions on this site and can't find anything that really clarifies the issue. No one knows where on the Adobe site, there is a legal language that covers this issue? It's a question that would be specific to each fact of fonts?

    Thank you

    David

I designed a report using IReport tool with a text like "BOLD", that generates the report in PDF format. When I open the file with Adobe Reader IX it opens perfectly.

but the problem when I open the same file in mozilla Add on "Adobe Reader 11.0.3.37" and in previous versions, is not displayed the "BOLD" font.

I solved it... the problem is not with mozilla add on... the problem is in jaspersoft...

  • 11.1 Adobe Font Folio is compatible with windows 10

does anyone know if adobe are folio 11 is compatible with windows 10. the data sheet does not specifically indicate windows 10

Yes. Do Folio doesn't have any installer.

About Font Folio OpenType fonts are easily compatible with Windows 10 - right-click on any one of them only and select 'Install' from the context menu that appears.

It is not mentioned in the technical data sheet because it was written before the release of Windows 10 and the product has not been updated in the interim.
