  MKV is not an industry standard. They originated as a container for DVD rippe format / Blu - Ray and the spec has changed many times. However, any MKV can contain multiple streams of video and data and it's nothing any video normal edition app will manage. You have to convert / extract the flow with respective tools. A search on the web can find you enough things to do this.

  I had a project that works perfectly in Adobe first Pro CC 2015.0.2 with file mp4 lowercase extension.

  In Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015.1 all these files don't work no more no picture no sound.

  If I import them again I have picture but no sound.

  The job is to put the extension in capitals, and it works.

  Even the MTS file I have this tiny time of the extension.

  Also, you can simply rename the folder in which the media is.  Each of these methods will 'trick' PP saw them as 'new' clips, and it starts to work correctly.

  They tend to cards list itself more, as they did... so they list the requirements for cards that work with the programs. Who are a minimum of 1 GB of vRAM and a few other things. As the production of internal software of the card, which is like a '3.0' or whatever and all 900-series cards are way beyond that... so with a 4 GB of vRAM card, the other issue is the number of cores CUDA has?

  Current recommendations are to stay above 1 000 CUDA cores... .and most 970, I've seen are listed with hearts CUDA along 1600... so it should be good. I myself use a 970 GTX w4GB vRAM. Now... a good GPU does not in itself and make an editing machine who shouts, as only certain things go by the GPU in PrPro in any case. A bad can certainly slow things, however.

  Since I was the last update for first Pro CC 2015 video material of the Sony FS 55 seems wrong:

  It is transparent, the underlying layer is visible.

  Even if the opacity is 100, I don't have the layer style changes and there is no effect.

  It seems that the 'solution' is to interpret the alpha channel of the video sequence and to mark the option where you can ignore the alpha channel.

  There is no such problem with any other camera images.

  This problem did not appear in the first version before - with the same material in the same project.

  Anyone else having similar problems?

• ADOBE PREMIERE PRO CC (2015) keeps freezing for several seconds

  I have Adobe first Pro CC (2015), not related to this account.

  When I Alt + Tab or open another program and go back to Premiere Pro, OR when I get my music video and images and drag them in first Pro CC it just freezes. I'm losing my mind! I use first pro with this problem about 5 months, but it continues to become intolerable!

  Please give me a solution. I deleted my settings in the Documents, it did not work. I have uninstall Premierer Pro and re - install Adobe Creative cloud, it did not work.

  I'm new to this forum, but I try to keep it is still as simple as possible.

  If the problem is presented in this picture I just took:

  As you can see, it stops and also, always on the same place, this place has even not any change than the other, only the beginning and end of the video have some dissolve and such things.

  But I noticed, with acceleration GPU is turned on and I really need, it speeds up the process so...

  Also tested different GPU of as R9 290 x and GTX 680.

  I also tried different programs for rendering, such as Magix Movie Studio and Sony Vegas Pro, with GPU rendering ofc and idk why, sometimes I'm crashes again, but here I can change as the use of the ram of my GPU and other, which makes accidents disappear. This makes me think should I go back to Sony Vegas, which would be much faster.

  Tho I want to stay with adobe, editing better when I get used to it.

  10 64-bit Windows

  ASUS Maximus iv-gene-z/gen3

  I7 3770 k @4. 4 GHz

  12 GB of ram timings @1600 MHz CL9

  EVGA GTX SSC 970 with new drivers ofc.

  Note last night, there was a new update (2015.3) that may have fixed the issues.

  I am currently using Media Encoder and with no problems coding of anything at the moment.

  So when I export my first calendar is now adding contrast to my final video.  He plays very well in the first and I did export of rough edit and they came out very well.  I use the 4K youtube preset for export.  I have included a screenshot of what my edit looks like and this same scene look like once its exported.  Help, please!

  What he did do you export? You can apply luts on export... maybe it's defined by chance? It does not resemble more contrast. This looks like a saturation more and lifting of blacks. Have you tried viewing in another drive. I know that some players make the scene differently. Perhaps your current drive was its adjusted settings?

  Thank you all... I thought about it... first I've undocked the project window...   Then, I saw that the titles were popping up in the windows task bar 10 grrr... I changed the resolution of the screen to a lower resolution, and I could enter the window title and raise it... Win 10 seems weird... I know it's... I had 2 questions - lost sound and now my Start menu does not work and that is happening at the level of MS 2. Thank you all. If I find something else I'll post here...
