  I purchased a license through web for xi Adobe & downloaded and installed.  Worked perfectly until the recent update (app was config auto-Update). Now the product does not open, it immediately passes to "not responding" when opening a .pdf file.  I tried to go programs - "fix" without success. I DON'T want to update for DC, as the automatic upgrade has tried to make me do.  I just want what I bought to work! Please notify.

  I have searched all over the support sites and knowledge base, but have not found a solution.  I'm willing to pay for support (although I think it should be on Adobe for trying to move me to a software that I did not ask for!)  But there seems to be NO WAY to access support via phone either.  You are sent through several self-invited, which only direct you to this site.   I watch the Decorah Eagles and want to leave it on for long periods of time. However, I get Script errors is not responding. If I'm right there when they occur, I can click on "stop script" and all is well. But if I entered it here, the script block not only the dissemination of Ustream, but my internet connection.

  There are several different script errors and that they occur in Safari, Firefox and Chrome. I have a page but don't see is not a way to fix it.

  Any ideas to solve this will be appreciated.

  Script errors are just that - bad JavaScript in web pages = thus, they will appear in all browsers. Thus, no attachments from your end.

  I tried to create a transform file to Adobe Reader 8.2 the Adobe 8 Customization Wizard. However, the tool does not generate transformation and seeks the Setup.ini file.

  I looked back to the installer that I had and now is a single msi file unlike previous versions that is a Setup.exe compressed that I used to decompress and get the msi file, the cab file and the setup.ini file.

  Anyone know how to get the compressed version of Setup.exe of Adobe Reader 8.2 or how it will work with the Adobe 8 Customization Wizard?

  I had the same problem at first but then takes the setup.ini file of my package of Adobe Reader 8.1.3 early last year and made a small edit for him. I have the gasket for your reference (renamed .ini in .txt so rename it to use it).

  This error almost everytime I open an email from Yahoo mail as well as at many other sites. Most of the time the script that fails is chrome://divxextension/content/script.js:132, although sometimes there are others. I have same Chrome open and I don't understand why it does not.   The script error is caused by the DPI setting on your system.  If the DPI setting is set to 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% Setup returns the script error. If your DPI setting is set to something else, please set it to one of these and Setup online should work.  To check/change the DPI setting:

  1. Start the control panel and go to control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display
  2. In the left menu, select set size custom text (PPP)
  3. In the Windows Setup custom DPI select 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% in the menu drop-down
  4. Click OK
  5. Select apply
  6. Open a session/disable
  7. Online installer should now run without displaying the script error.

  A fix for this should be released in the coming weeks.
