Advanced Networking feture on VCS

Hello

I need assistance with Advanced Networking on the RESUME.

I configured this networking advanced on customer site. The customer uses only LAN1.

page 20 of http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/vcs....

I need to know what port I have to open. in this documentation, I find in this documentation:

"When the Advanced Networking is enabled, all ports configured on the highway, including those relating to the crossing of firewall, applies to both IPS;

You cannot configure ports separately for each IP address. "page 43, 45

It is nessesery to open media and signaling port 2776, 2777, 7001 C - exp EXP-e on both IP (public and private)?

Should what address I use to set up the area crossing between Exp - C and Exp-E?

In this document ... http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/vcs. on page 20, I see in such a deployment, clients of course must be configured to use the IPaddress with access from theVCS.

but in this document: http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/vcs... page 63

The area crossed on the VCS control must have (public) 64.100.0.10 that her counterpart
address.

If I open the firewall for the 2777,2776,7001 port to the adres of EXp-E private I see on the firewall that media 2777, 2776 and signalling 7001 trying reach you public adres of EXP - E.

IF I open two adres of EXP - E (public sector and internall) por 2777,2776,7001 the solution works well.

I try also to travelsal framework (EXP - C) the two address of the exp-E public, the interall and both works OK (I still have a port open to the public and private address for VCS - E).

What is the correct configuration? / Where can I find the flow media and signalig?

Best regards

Thanks for help

It's different/still more strict that Acevirgil said, if you only use an interface and you HAVE with NAT on the VCS E point the VCS - C to the public ip address.

The VCS - C will not attempt to connect to the internal IP address of the VCS-E, but of course, you might see something in the FW table followed link.

If you use the clustering (which does not support the NAT on the interface) or you cannot run deflection NAT, you need to use the second interface of the VCS-E for the VCS - C branch above.

    You cannot use the Windows registry to disable the elements in Firefox. This link shows how to lock the proxy settings of Firefox, change the values as needed:

    I have not been able to find documentation on how to use the features of advanced EPC network services.

    I am interested in the use of services VSG & Netscaler 1000V.

    Is there a guide for deployment of these services?

    Thank you

    Better documentation I could find so far on this is the PDF file below, it provides the guide of full deployment of the infrastructure until the IAC software layer layer.

  • When I first open the browser the web page does not load. I need to go to tools, Options, advanced, network, settings and change the Manual Configuration of the Proxy to no Proxy, and then click Retry.

    Once I change my browser proxy works very well. The problem is whenever I open the program.

    Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • Advanced local network service

    Hello

    I just recently received my Dell laptop about a week ago and I followed all the installation instructions and now whenever I start my laptop, I get a pop window that says:
    "Advanced Networking Service has stopped working and was closed: a problem caused the application to stop functioning properly." Windows will notify you if a solution is available. »
    Also, with this pop-up, the reader of CD/DVD made one sound, as if he is reading a disc, but there is nothing in there. Can you please tell me what is happening and how I can fix this problem? Thank you.

    Turn off the Service of advanced networking under services.msc (1 service in the services list), and then restart your computer.

    Thank you for using the Microsoft answers Forum.

  • VCS Expressway Network internal

    I have a client who wants to deploy the VCSE on the internal network with a VCS. The VCSE has the opportunity to double network. Customer has forged for the VLAN VCSE/VCSC separated. And LAN2 NAT VCSE on the firewall. All CARDS will finish the same L3 switch. Is question solution feasible?

    EMM,

    That should be fine, don't forget that if they only use a port on the VCS-E and NAT to one then the VCS - C pointing to the public IP address of the VCS-E, which means that you need to activate the grouping on the firewall. Then the VLAN to which is connected the VCS - C should be able to get out to the firewall to get to the public IP address of the VCS-E.

    If you decide to use two ports on the VCS-E you VLAN (3). The VCS - C would point to the internal VLAN VCS-e.

  • review during deployment - VCS Expressway

    Hello world!!!

    We knew the benefits of deployment - VCS Expressway. After reading "Cisco TelePresence video Communication Server Configuration of base (control with Highway) - Deployment Guide", I and my team are faced with the following:

    1 - if we do not "Advanced Networking option key", we are not able to use the static NATing feature of the VCS Expressway, but also the interfaces network double. This is why we need this firewall do NAT reflection (it allows to control VCs access the IP public VCSexpressway) and the deep Inspection (to change the IP address that is part of the SIP header). This statement is correct?

    2. - If in my deployment, I'll open some ports in the firewall, is it means that my network is exposed to external threats? There are a few Considerations to keep in mind the safety on the end points that will be in the Internet?

    I also leaves a small attached file, in this file, you can get an idea of what I'm doing. I will seek in advance for your comments. Thank you for all.

    The same concept applies to the least.

    If you already have a DMZ with public IPs, you should be fine. If not, you could split the existing subnet you have, get a new ISP, use proxy arp...

    Not sure how are your details if you are unsure how to configure what I told you in the message before you may need to ask a guy to additional network.

    As you say yourself, if you can not prevent NAT (course, which is a nice way to deploy, but it would require double interface, now known as enhanced networking key).
    Also remember that you must not share the VCS-E IP with other services.

    Another option may be to accommodate the VCS-E to an ISP or there is also some providers that offer an area crossing of VCS (at least the non-cucm style) as a service.

    That you have developed a computer user, do you plan to use jabber-video (old style of tms) or jabber (cucm)?

  • Firefox crashes when I press the button clear cache. Please tell me how to fix this. Thanks in advance.

    Firefox uses a lot of memory and slows down considerably. I tried to clear the cache, but this browser caused from freezing. I rebooted, rebooted and upgraded to 5.0 with no improvement. Please notify.

    I have Firefox 6.0 running on Vista.

    I have a sneaking suspicion that the subprogramme which 'clears the cache', et al, has a incomplete, incorrect disposal problem, "in use" or "infinite loop" elements, such that it crashes when you try to do.

    After a few tries, I found that the best way to solve this problem is to do the following (it is easier than it sounds):

    (1) close all tabs of Firefox and Firefox windows

    (2) lance the Task Manager and stop all processes "Firefox" (i.e., it is possible that more than one may be running, even if you did all of the step (1)).

    (3) go to the folder Firefox cache, usually located in < system drive > \Users\ < your personal folder named > < something > \AppData*\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\. default\Cache and destroy everything that appears under this directory (n. b., you should not require administrative level to do this, if so, try to do this in 'Safe' Mode). {* AppData may be a "hidden" folder}

    (4) start Firefox, select Tools-> Options->
    Advanced-> network-> clear now.

    (5) close Firefox.

    (6) restart Firefox.

    Firefox ran faster after that I did.

    Good luck!
