Advances of Amazon resistant Safari

Have not yet encountered problems with sites other than those of the Amazon. Machine three years ago, all Mac software has been updated that updates will be available.

For three days the following events occur:

Suddenly, trying to connect in my orders place from Amazon on Safari or account is filled with the beachball.

When the beachball disappears, there has been no change; Connect trying again even practice it.

Account works normally with another browser.

Really appreciate suggestions.

Almost only one user casual myself and ill-equipped for very technical questions.

Try a reboot.

Make a backup using Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure that data files can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.

Try to set up another admin user account to see if the same problem persists. If back to my Mac is enabled in system preferences, the guest account will not work. The intention is to see if it is specific to an account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.

Isolate a problem by using a different user account

If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer. For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.

    As a temporary solution, try this.

    1 remove the covers

    Close all windows and close all applications.

    Hold down the 'option' key, then click on the "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.

    Select 'Library' in the menu dropdown.

    Library > Caches > com.apple.Safari

    The com.apple.Safari file right-click and select "move to the trash.

    Shut down windows and restart Safari.

    2 remove the test and com.apple.Safari.plist file.

    Empty the trash.

    Quit all applications.

    Hold down the option key and click on the "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.

    Select 'Library' in the menu dropdown.

    Library > Preferences > com.apple.Safari.plist

    Right-click on it and select "place it in the trash.

    Turn it back on.    Restart Safari.

    If this does not help, "put back" the com.apple.Safari.plist

    Right click on the trash icon in the Dock, then select 'open '.

    Right-click on the com.apple.Safari.plist and select 'Put Back'.

    Of course, it does. Amazon has chosen not to support Safari, for reasons known only to them.

    My mother has problems to access accounts online on Safari. Such as banking, insurance, etc. She made a mistake on various Web sites, that it seeks to access telling him that his version of safari is too old and sites prevent him from doing anything on the site.     1: is completely related to your version of the OS now Safari? Can I ONLY go there if I update the OS? If so, why Apple made this cause it puts me really off

    2: I'm going to go to Yosemite (probably not available yet more) or El Capitan, which have tons of bad reviews (that of myself, though on an older machine, but with more Ram and a faster processor)?

    3: is this better if I just submit to Firefox?

    Yes, Safari is related to the OS X version (and has always been except for rare updates)

    You could attend an alternative if you choose, I'd say Opera on Firefox.

  • Is there anyway to use the safari offers passwords to connect to applications on the iPhone?

    I was just curious to know because I have a lot of apps on my phone with Web sites and most of them I download after that I have initially sign on the corresponding website. Since I own an iMac I usually invites me with the request to use a suggested password of safari. I want to be able to use them as much as I can, because I think that is a large generator and all my passwords would be different (and it's better that try to think of one, or, worse, by using a password for everything, and I hate you connecting via Facebook) but the problem is that when I install the app and it wants connect me it seem not to be an option on all (app to the) less, I didn't see a) to recover the password in the keychain. As a result, I end up making my own password for a website that has a corresponding application I know id to use more than the Web site. Is it possible to do besides having to actually go to the section passwords saved in my settings on the iPhone whenever I want to do this? As always, thanks in advance.

    No, Safari cannot fill passwords for applications. You can use a like LastPass password manager that allows you to copy and paste the secret codes (I think).

  • MacBook Pro mid 2012 very large Cache

    I own a Macbook Pro mid-2012, I swapped the stock 500 GB for a 256 GB SSD drive. My storage became full so I downloaded omnidisksweeper, after the execution of this program, I discovered that a Cache folder is over 100 GB in size.     Then go back and clear the cache (option + Cmd + E)

    Restart the computer

    See if this reduces the size of the cache that you see

    From the Safari menu, select clear history.

    Safari really quit (in the menu).

    Restart Safari.

    Then download AdwareMedic (now called MalwarebytesAntiMalware.app, MBAM) of https://www.malwarebytes.org/antimalware/mac/

    Quit Safari. Start the MMFA. Do the "scan".

    I installed El Capitan... Safari opens fine but when I go to Amazon and go to a link, it goes to this page and it freezes... I have reloaded the OS and still have questions... java script to audit of the United Nations security without success... UN-check 'include suggestions for Safari' in the search... I even deleted the history and deleted the cache... with all this, I always go to Amazon and use the internal link for product and Safari answers... it started with I upgraded to El Capitan...   • Amazon links in Chrome but not Safari

    I have my own site Web built with WordPress where I provide links to Amazon.com for books that I recommend.  When I consult my book in Chrome pages, images appear and the links work fine.  In Safari, the images and links appear as small gray squares.  Is this a bug in Safari?  A bug in the code provided by Amazon?

    When I connect to Amazon I get the spinning beachball and an error message in the activity monitor that says "Safari Web content no longer", using 99.2%CPU.  I have only 2 tabs open.  It began last week after I have updated to the latest Safari.

    Safari is updated with OSx, there is no update.  Your slogan indicates you have El Capitan 10.11 which means that you might not have Safari 6.2.8.  El Capitan includes 9 Safari.

    Whatever the case, update of Safari, you need to update OSx if it is not done.

    I quit Firefox. Over time, I would switch back between Safari and Firefox, trying to figure out what browser is best.    For some reason any of it is Firefox that turned out to be quite slow. Don't know why, but I started using Safari full time.

    Because I was switching back is backwards, I would like to import/export bookmarks between the two. It has become a mess.  It's time to clean all the bookmarks that I have accumulated over the years; delete the 'old', sort, put in different folders.

    But I find bookmarks Edit is 'primitive' - that is, I can't understand how to sort. I have several duplicates across and it would be useful if there is a sorting function, but I can't figure out how to do this.

    Also, logically, the basic changes would include drag drop, but this feature is not just in this editor.

    Is there a better option to edit bookmarks?

  • Amazon not navigable pages on Safari - work fine on Firefox

    Hello!  ~ I am struck by a strange evolution over the last month: try clicking on any field on some pages on Amazon.com launches the spinning wheel of color for one minute, after which no field (amount/info/comments/add to cart/etc.) can be selected.  Most of the pages and products work very well.  Several refreshing and revive, even restart the computer don't affect, even if it affects only SOME PAGES: one type of acoustic foam but not read another or a cat, but not others.  Don't switch to Firefox, I have no trouble by selecting any field on the problem pages.

    One else this experience?  Any ideas as to what is happening?  In addition to sticking with Firefox, all solutions?
