Adware included with Thunderbird install?

I used the advice http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-start-menu-updated-popup/ Malware to remove adware. The removal procedure, says he could have been included in a recent installation. The only installation that I did on the date in question is Thunderbird.

Any version of Thunderbird https://www.mozilla.org/thunderbird/ has been proven to come up with any form of consciousness/malware. It is a topic about it here, on sites forums.mozillazine.org and technicians autour so true with the recent version of TB.

It may have came with a recent update or install other software and you noticed at some point.

Some sites like download .com aka cnet can have stuff bundled with software otherwise clean example of download, the downloaded software.

    Version of Thunderbird installed 38 last night. This morning I have urgent questions on the email.

    I open Thunderbird and before it finishes downloading the mails from the server, and sometimes even before the end of the authentication password for the accounts, if freezes. I restarted three times with zero improvement. Mouse and KB are both unresponsive while the LED mouse works when the mouse moves and indicators CAPS etc meet key activities respective, so devices are working on their own, but Mozilla Thunderbird blocks the communication between them and the PC.

    Now, I don't have access to email and no way to know when there is an answer to this! Nice!

    What exactly is necessary to make Thunderbird work? And how can I find out about it without any email?

    I use Windows 7 on a PC. I use Firefox and Open Office, no other product from Ms.

    PS: I have an account already, but you do not provide a way to recover passwords, so that's my account 02!

    Try turning off hardware acceleration.
    Tools (Alt - T) - Options - Advanced - general tab
    Uncheck the "use hardware acceleration".

  • When will an update of lightning that works with Thunderbird v31.0 beta come out?

    I used Thunderbird beta v 30 with 3.2b1 of lightning and it was working fine. V31 Thunderbird has been released and updated automatically. Add-ons - are set to "auto update". All calendar is now grayed out, and nothing works. I searched downloads of lightning and concluded that Lightning 3.2b1 is the most recent version was available, and it's lightning 3.2b1 States for "Thunderbird 30.0 and later. Obviously, lightning 3.2b1 does not work with Thunderbird v31.

    Two things:
    1. I recommend that updates of lightning will come out before the publication of beta of Thunderbird updates so that your testers who use the Lightning extension have the capacity they had before updates Thunderbird, and
    2. a) be a notice sent with beta versions updated to Thunderbird, that States will they interface properly with the currently installed version of lightning, and/or b) the update should not automatically update if it detects an add-on installed lightning with which it is incompatible and require the user to decide if the user wants to proceed with the update and lose functionality.

    According to this site, you'll need lightning 3.3b1, which you can find here:

    I have a workshop of Jaguar (TIS) manual for which I installed ITC on my laptop which has Windows Vista as operating system.

    The 'help icon ' to give me complete operational instructions won't work.  He said: "the help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which was used in previous versions of Windows and is not supported in Windows Vista.  See "Windows Help program (Win HIp32.exe) is no longer included with Windows on the Microsoft support site.

    I can't find any information on it or in one of the forums.  Can someone help me please?

    I remember a year ago, reading on a SQL most "GUI", who was still with Oracle 11 g type. I don't remember the name of the tool, but I was able to launch the tool in my install of Solaris 10 of Oracle 11 g at this time and thought it was very nice. It is an application that came with the installation of Oracle (I didn't download anything else).

    The problem is that I don't remember the name of the application or where he was. Apparently, he was not in the standard $ORACLE_HOME/bin directory, but I see just what it was.

    I guess that the application you're talking about is Developer SQL. It is a Java GUI application, so it is cross-platform, Oracle began including the 11g client.

    I don't know about the top of my head where that would be installed on a Solaris client machine. Given that this is a free tool, however, and there is a much more recent version available on OTN, which fixed quite a number of bugs, I would expect that you would be better to download and install the most recent version in any case.

    When I run Thunderbird, I give myself of one of my email inbox. I currently have two together at the top with Thunderbird. I think that something I did caused Thunderbird show only one. Normally, I'm greeted by a sidebar that allows me to see all of my email accounts and switch between them. Who has disappeared. I tried all sorts of things, and I can't figure out how to get the sidebar back. I know that I have two emails put in place because I continue to receive new messages. The problem is that if there are no new messages, I have no way to view the other my Inbox. Any suggestions?

    After messing around for a bit longer, I found "Restart with disabled modules" in the title of the help, and I thought I'd try that. I got an option that allowed me to restore default toolbars, that still does not solve the problem, but I have now managed to drag the sidebar reappear in when I flew over where it should be. Problem solved, thanks!

    I just go a new laptop - it came with windows 8. Great, but what a leap of windows XP! And a lot of problems to continue using some favorite instruments, such as my Palm Z22.

    Anyone know if it is possible to synchronize a Palm Z22 Windows 8 and with mozilla thunderbird. If so I would be really grateful for more information.

    Hello Ruthard, you can synchronize with Win8.  Please read the thread at the top of this list of message section, "64-bit Windows USB drivers are here."

    I'm afraid I don't have any information on syncing with Thunderbird.
