  I export my Keynote animation as a Quicktime movie, I want to import into photoshop and then export and animated GIF that I will put on a web page. The challenge that I have exported my speech with a transparent background. I set the background of a color with zero transparency but then the bottom just goes black and rest throughout the process.   I seem to be brain dead on terminology, too. The density of Tint slider is clearly labeled hue, no opacity, nuances and not creat a transparent color.

When I save the file as a PDF file with the PDF option "ISO 19005-1 compliant (PDF/A)," the transparent background will have a colorful background after having been exported. This occurs when you try to export from Microsoft Powerpoint and Word 2007. Here is a screenshot of what the Gif and PNG images looks like after export.

  PDF/A-1 does not support transparency, so you can't have both.

  You can do this by removing the bottom completely and use the shortcut
  (Shift + ctrl + alt + s) which will take to save you for web window. Select png-24 format for an image of high quality from the drop-down list and it should serve your purpose.

  The white background is just the preview. The application of the observer must show a sort of background.

  PNG is not specific to printing. If you export a PDF file that has the correct settings (depending on the printing process)

  OK, I did a catalog in InDesign and there say, an orange border. I imported an image to the layer on the orange border and it has a clear background. In photoshop, it has no background and is simply the black outline. However, when I export the Indesign to PDF and print it out, logo is there with his black side, but is inside a non-described and the background is kind of transparent, orange poster, she displays a weird shade of orange and it stands... Ive had with a few more pictures, don't know what im doing wrong when I save the image in photoshop or when you export or what! I am self-taught, (with the help of this forum and youtube) so bad really appreciate any help. I might post a picture but on the screen, everything seems correct, its seen that when I print the catalog, it is really strange! It is not just my printer-think of that - ive tried on three different places and with different pdf files to see if it was just a picture. Unfortunately, this is a good 220 on a 108-page document!

  I have looked on the forums and help pages, but I can't seem to find my answer.  Maybe I used the wrong terminology?

  In Adobe Illustrator CS5, I imported a jpg file in my work plan.  The jpg has a white background.  I want to make the background of the transparent any jpg.  How do I do that?  Thank you.

  • Open your jpg in photoshop
  • Double-click the background layer, press enter
  • Select what you want to be transparent (wand magic ior selection quick easy tool)
