  a. Click Start, type cmd in the search box, select command prompt, right click and run as administrator.

  b. at the command prompt, type:

  ' w32tm/Debug /disable' and press 'Enter' (net stop w32time gave an error 5 access denied response!)

  Type 'w32tm /unregister' and press 'Enter' (without using the first command, the second did not!)

  You should get the answer "W32Time successfully saved."

  c. Type "w32tm /register" and press "Enter."

  You should get the answer "W32Time successfully registered.

  d. type 'net start w32time' and press 'Enter '.

  There are two downloads available, but none of them are the driver!  I tried downloading the Printer Wizard, but everything that was told that was the missing driver and use the "Add a printer" function of Windows, I had already done!

  problem solved - software disc that came with the printer did not support Vista.  Uninstalled printer and software, downloaded lexmark driver software update supporting Vista 32bits.  Re-installed successfully.  Printer doesn't work.  I got this suggestion of the Geek Squad.
