After 10 installed Reader printing problems

Recently deployed Reader 10 for approximately 300 workstations by using Group Policy.  Several machines no longer able to print on network printers.  These printers are HP using the universal print driver.  When you try to print, we get an error and the Adobe Reader app crashes.  However, it will print to other network printers that use a driver specific older device, print to the same print device.  Download the latest driver from HP, but it did not help the situation.  Printing worked well with Reader 8 and Reader 9.   Anyone with an idea?

Please perform the following steps to see if the problem exists:

(1) launch Adobe Reader.

2) go to Edition--> Preferences

3) go to the General options on the left side.

(4) uncheck "Enable protected at startup mode" and press OK.

(5) close the drive and restart.

You still see the issue?

If you then try repair by clicking help--> repair Adobe Reader Installation. Please let us know if this solves your problem.

    You must select the option "Advanced" in the dialog box print of Acrobat and it prints an image which is OK.

  • Windows 8 and want to 4500 using Adobe Reader printing problems

    I have a laptop HP Pavilion (July 2013) with the dreaded Windows 8 and HP ENVY 4500 printer (November 2013). I will have questions, a booklet for printing Adobe Reader that displays only a few pages, and then the print job is canceled. I also noticed that a blue dialog box comes up saying an error has occurred and can not print, added to that, I now leave the printer in standby because another blue dialog box used to say that the printer is offline and I couldn't get it back in line without uninstalling and then reinstalling the printer. I have installed and uninstalled Adobe Reader X 1 and also the Adobe Reader X and I have also installed and uninstalled the printer about 6 times.

    The strange thing is that the same pdf file will appear as a brochure when I use my old Pavilion laptop (Circa 2009) which has Vista as the o/s.

    Anyone know how to solve the problem?

    I read your post and see that you are not able to print a booklet from Adobe.

    I'll be happy to help you.

    You use the downloaded full feature software or driver Windows preinstalled?

    Here's the URL for the HP ENVY 4500 e-all-in-one printer drivers.

    Select the operating system, and then click Next.
    Click on driver - product Installation software and download the drivers.

    You can try and set it to print a picture to see if it will work.

    Go to file, print, click on the Advanced button and select print as Image.

    Run all updates from Adobe. Updates.

    Here is a URL to temporarily turn off all the start up programs to see if one of them is causing problems.

    How to change Windows 8 start programs.

    Temporarily disable the Antivirus software.

    Try to print again.

    You must follow the same steps to reactivate all the and turn on the Antivirus software.

    After the installation of "install_reader10_en_mssa_aih", the print dialog box appears many times greater than normal and all the buttons and options are grayed out, so that any other pjrinting that by default is impossible. The patch offered 'AdobeReaderPatch10.1.2_cpsid_92870' has been without help. And, NO, restarting does not help.

    I want to GSM(with labVIEW) and PLC interface, My PLC will work in serial port only.

    In my PC, I have 3 serial ports. before installing the DSC module in my system, I can configure the ports series all the... but, when I finished installation of the DSC module, 2 ports is not between these 3 serial ports. Before PRECAUTIONS, I can work with PLC and I can use other ports. After installation, I can't configure the serial ports... Hereby, I have attached the error with this...  Please help me soon...

    The Solution is, no need to install the VISA device drivers separately. Installing the DSC module only.

  • Computer doesn't wake on standby after you install the printer 7520

    I installed a new 7520 on my desktop PC (XP Home). The printer works well, but when the computer goes into sleep mode, I can't wake him - forcing me to restart the PC. "Sleep" mode on the computer worked before the installation of the printer.

    I see this type of condition before in a connected USB printer.  How do you have the printer connected to the desktop of Windows XP Edition family?  (USB or network connected)

    If the printer is connected by a USB cable, then you try another USB port on the PC and uninstall/re-installing the USB to the PC controller.

    To perform the uninstall/reinstall the USB controll follow the steps below.

    • Boot safe mode on the PC
    • Click on the start menu in the PC
    • Right click on my computer
    • Select manage in the list
    • Select Device Manager from the list on the left
    • Right-click on the section called "Controllers of Bus USB", and then select Properties
    • Uninstall section, and then restart the PC to complete the re - install

    I'll look at this more for you and get back with you.

  • Adobe Reader print problem

    When you print a PDF file, the screen goes to Windows Media Center.  I use Windows 7.  I downloaded a new version of Adobe Reader XI.  I ran the repair Adobe Reader in the help file, and it does not help.

    Yet once in the Control Panel, under programs, under default programs, click on "Make a type of file always open in a specific program"

    Scroll to PDF and click change program.

    If it shows something else Adobe reader to access the AcroRd32.exe in the folder 11.0 programs/Adobe/Reader / player and choose as the default for PDF files. click apply and then click OK.

  • Printing with newly installed HP printer problem

    I just replaced my old hp printer with a HP Photosmart Premium Scan, copy, print, Fax C410a. I use PE8 and Windows7. Everything was good before.

    When I try to print from PE8, the printer wants to send a fax instead of print the image. I am able to print the same image properly from Picasa. I checked my setup of the printer and everything seems OK.

    Also has anyone seen this problem? Any recommendations?

    I'm tempted to uninstall/reinstall PE8 but here I check everything first.

    You could try tweaking the name in the properties or print from the organizer rather than the editor. Another user of the forum found it worked.

  • HP Photosmart 6525 - tune printer problem after Installation

    Hi - I just bought and installed an HP Photosmart 6525 (connected via wireless), for use with a desktop computer HP running Windows 8.1.  I select the HP Photosmart icon on my desktop that opens the HP printer Assistant - however I get the following window:

    What is the cause of this and how to fix it?

    Hello Robert, I hope you are well!

    I understand that you see a pop up window after you install the printer software. I have a guide that contains a patch, I would see you for that matter: HP Printer Wizard opens with an error in Script or in Notepad

    If the patch does not help, try to uninstall the printer software and put it back again by running the HP printer install wizard for Windows.

    Yes, I was referring to manually clean the print head. I see that the 5510 lacks the possibility of leaving the print head manually.

    You can click on the menu of your SETUP program on your screen and go to TOOLS and clean the print head from there.

    If this does not resolve your problem, you may need to replace the print head.
    Contact HP Total Care (1800-474-6836), and if your unit is under warranty, its free.

    Hello, I'm having a problem with my printer. I'll install the printer with the driver HP off-site and the printer works for a while, then it must be installed again. I noticed that when this happens, windows supports and installs the driver, after that it asks for installation support, I didn't, because I can't find the disk. I then click on cancel until the window closes and the printer works again, but only for a while, then the driver must be installed again. I also tried to disable the automatic installation of the windows driver and use HP adds the function of device on their setup of drivers, but the device is still not installed.
