• Problem: My computer hangs and does not restart after the installation of MS Update KB2479628.

  Tuesday February 11 I turned my hp Compaq nx7300 off I saw that she was installing updates I thought that nothing of what I had set to automatic updates. On Wedndesday that I have tried to re - turn on my laptop it installed updates. I got a black screen with white writing. The laptop then ran restoration of boot, but he was not able to repair itself and turns off. I tried to turn it back on a few times that I was in total disbelief that a MS Update would do this to my computer, it still does not.

  I tried to start the computer in safe mode, but it does not work.

  I tried to do a system restore but evertime I tried it there was an error, I tried all eight restore points but all back "an unspecified error occurred during system 0x800700b7 restore.

  "In restoration of start I clicked on ' view diagnostic and repair details" it said all tests have been performed with success, but at the bottom it says ' root cause found - boot critical file D:\Windows\system32\ntkrnlpa.exe is corrupt.

  I had to reinstall windows 7 pro three times so far and have now developed to the point that it is KB2479628 update of MS that is causing the problem. I the have not installed this time and have had updates to the manual

  What can I do about this problem, I spent at least 20 hours on this problem now, and looking for the many other forum of people seem to have similar problems. I'm worried that KB2479628 will settle by accident when I want to install some other updates?

  My computer laptop originally had Vista Business top but has been upgraded to Windows 7 32 bit, clean install, I use Microsoft Security Essentials, I've never had installed norton or macafee.

  So, I had this problem since vCOps 5.0, every update, I hope it is fixed but is not. I also had a nice SR since July, and while a lot of troubleshooting has been done, we are still no where near of a solution.

  Looks after that leaving a dashboard customized view of skittles, six metric charts, heatmap and a metric sparklines for a long period of time the CPU usage will gradually pull 100% usage after a few hours.

  We tried to add additional CPU, memory for two virtual machines. Seems to help but the end result is an accident of the dashboard.

  I had my computer since Christmas and it has been updated very well, but the last update that it successfully was the removal of software malicious one.  Now there's a criticism published Jan 12 security update that will not update.  Once you click on install updates, it crashes just 05 full.  I left for 12 hours at atime.  It never changes.  I have treid update with the optional updates 3 there and no joy.  Once I got the error code 80240016.  I tried to stop and restart the update service in the command prompt and it said: the service could not be stopped.

  There is not a way to get the printer back to the creation of the COPY once the scan has been done since the control panel; However, if the printer is in COPY and you run the scan of your computer, when the scanning is completed, the printer will return to mode COPY automatically.  At the launch of the analysis of the printer itself, you must press the button COPY once you have finished so he can enter this mode of scanning.

  It keeps freezing after a short period of use - although if I leave it for a few minutes, sometimes it can be useful.
  If it is turned on for long enough, it will display a blank screen and the fans will turn on very hard.

  I cleaned ports ventilation and re-glued the CPU, and it did not make a difference.

  I ran HDD and memory (mhdd/memtest) diagnostics, and they have all done.

  I reinstalled Windows (from the OEM disc) and I still see the same question.
