  SOLUTION: I found a solution, but it is not ideal in case I've had several after effects in the first projects. BUT if I close after effects project while still in first, first freezes and I have to force it to quit. If something is terribly wrong with this project.

  Okay, I think I found the solution.

  First of all, I went through and deleted a third after effects scripts/Script UI panels/third party plugins to see if that was causing problems. I then tried again and found that it still had the same problem, so it wasn't because of that.

  I then found someone in a forum that said deleting the folder Adobe containing positioning preferences and other things found in the documents of the user. I deleted it and as I forced quit 2 process of "aselflink" which seems to be running in the background. I also deleted my preferences AE holding Option-shift on the after effects startup and launch of the first.

  A combination of all that, now a dynamic link is working smoothly again. I go to a time not so crucial for my current project finished, reinstall the scripts etc and make sure that it was not caused by them.

  I am not sure that I just did, but I see no here boldening (Phaser 7800, driver PS, black out with precision, but it is not serious to postscript). The text is a little dark, as I expect due to overprinting, but the weight looks the same.

  I agree, this is a better method. So I'll change my SENSITIVITY to use viewStack instead of the State. But the problem persists what that, if we use the viewStack State to launch an event only when the State/viewStack is displayed on the screen.

  I found something that works very well for me: updateComplete.

  First of all, I found this before reading your information about viewStack so it worked very well for the method of the State. The system was not able to view the specification as the setSpecs() function was not instantiate when displayed. I added the updateComplete = "{setSpecs ()} ' and everything worked great!" So I conclude that no matter if you are using a viewStack State, the updateComplete event can be used to run or functions only when the component is displayed on the screen.

  Now, I have to make my transition between the State working with viewStack effect! ;-))
