  This means that someone needs to open in 2014 CC (version 13) and choose Save as CC (version 12). Then someone needs to open in CC (version 12) and choose to save it as CS6 (version 11).

  This is not a configuration which After Effects CS6 will use for the GPU of the 3D rendering engine acceleration traced to the RADIUS.

  From what I was told by an employee, newer than 10.7 Mac must subscribe in the cloud instead of buy CS6... and someone with Win10 must also subscribe to the cloud for CS6 is not compatible (meaning that the seller will ask you your operating system and not sell you CS6 if she does not work on your computer...   Versions must be the same to make it work.  You will have to perhaps put the original clip in AE and when you're done, export off AE file for use in PP.

  I've recently updated the graphics card in my Mac Pro 3.1 for an EVGA Nvidia GTX 680 Mac Edition and have set up so that after effects CS6 recognizes it as a compatible card as in many places, I read that it should work fine. However, I don't seem to receive all the benefits of using, rendering time a little longer, if it is not longer than before and previews just like sluggish. I've updated the graphics card and CUDA, set the preview of Ray-tracing for GPU and all the comps are set to display with the ray-tracing, but I still get no no performance gain.

  I noticed that under the information GPU in the OpenGL Shader Model information is empty and greyed out. I don't know if this is related to the problem, but I'm not sure why this is. Information under CUDA seems to be OK. I have provided the following information:

  As Mylenium says, you seem to be waiting for something which is not the case. The 3D rendering engine traced to the RADIUS does not speed up the rendering of the classic compositions from After Effects. It is rather a rendering engine to make a very limited set of manipulations in 3D (extrusion of text and shapes) and flexion of the 2D layers. Even these things are not fast with the traced the beam 3D rendering engine. they are just faster with the GPU that they would be on the CPU.
