  Hi, I recently downloaded the trial of After Effects CS5 for Mac OS X (64-bit). I installed everything correctly (I think) and I tried to launch the program, because I was very excited because I've heard great things about this program. I was unhappy to see an error starting pop up that says this, "After Effects WARNING: unknown error invalid BIB encoding, BRV, 0 (83: 3)" I think it would be that I downloaded the 64 bit instead of 32, but I think that I am running on 64-bit (Mac OS X Macbook 13 in Pro) , but I don't know. Little help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

  There is no 32-bit version of CS5, but it's really not important. OSX applications 64-bit since 10.5.x and 10.6.x is native 64-bit. So no problems on this end. The error you see is a generic drawing mistake which may be due to a misconfiguration of your graphics hardware or problems of rendering of fonts. in the latter case, can help remove unnecessary fonts, graphical config for an update of the system may have a newer driver. Also make sure you have Verdana size police on your system. This has been known to be a problem with OSX 10.6, because it does not install the default font.

  I've always used after effects, but one day, when I open the program it would show only the Render (QC) I would just reset the workspace, but none of the features work.

  I just installed the 2015 CC today (terrible regret) and I work with creating dynamic links in the rear.

  So I keep both open software and whenever I start a first rendering, appears this message in After Effects (After Effects error: FLT_GeneralEffectCallPlus cannot be called reentrantly (25: 222)) so this annoying message are blocking my rendering every time and I have to close one of the programs to work with a normal workflow.

  Please, someone knows how to fix this? (Sorry for the bad English)

  Run the cleanup tool and try again. Media DB error means that you have a package from another Adobe product on the system which is not compatible and you will have to start from scratch.

  Having enjoyed the workflow first import Adobe after effects comps & psds, I am disappointed by the support for the collection and archiving of project files.

  It seems that when you retrieve a project (in Project Manager) for sharing, it ignores everything after effects files with their own assets... in my illustrations HAVE case.

  Then, I collected the after-effects of the file upwards (in the files HAVE) and then linked to these alternatives in the first... Ok

  Now when I try and creating archives project, After Effects compositions are in fact archived, but when you view them in Proemiere, each layer of 'image' of I, is replaced by an image of the target.

  

  However, when I opened that the after effects comp itself everything is connected without a problem...

  How can I get the first to acknowledge that the .aep files are valid?

  So, the answer was that...

  After collecting the AE project, he was looking at all its assets ((sequences)) compared to itself.

  However, when this project was linked in the first, the relative path (pictures) wasn't clear, as a local had become a level upwards.

  So, I dragged the AE and (images) in the folder next to the project and relinked... then it assets is no problem!

  Looks like, so that the assets in Adobe CC bond is a good idea, the complete workflow is not yet completely formed for archiving & sharing

  OK, you have the latest version of Office CC.

  You install AE CC 2015? See the image below.

  Try to click the gear icon and go to preferences and logout. Close and restart your computer. Then connect again to CC Office. Try the download again.

  Hi I use a Mac Pro, 10.9 mavericks, after effects CC 2014 with the last update (installed last week) and I still get an error that I have to force quit after effects. The error message reads:

  I don't know what that means or how to fix it. I tried to repair disk permissions, but this has no effect.

  It also happens when I try to open some project files that worked before the upgrade.

  I bought membership unique creative cloud for after Effects (one month to the next) and installed it but it only works as long as the trial version. When I log in the Help menu of After Effect it shows me how many days left in the trial and then when I click on license this software button said no subscription found. When I connect my Adobe account plans and products page under link of products online there is no product saved on my account and under manage map link can I see my billing history and payment details but I do not see the active devices.

• Titan GTX in after effects & Premiere CS6

  GTX Superclocked Titan now running in OS X 10.8.3 using the latest driver NVIDIA's Web (313.01.01f03) and CUDA Driver Version 5.0.59.

  
  

  I changed both the file "cuda_supported_cards.txt" for Premiere Pro CS6 (6.0.2) and the "raytracer_supported_cards.txt" file for after effects CS 6 (11.0.2) to enter the "GeForce GTX TITAN."

  
  

  First recognize the card very well and is able to exploit the Titan for it's Mercury Playback Engine Acceleration (CUDA) GPU. However, After Effects reports the following error during startup:

  Remove the "GeForce GTX TITAN" the file "raytracer_supported_cards.txt" resolves the error message, however, this obviously makes the Titan useless for any acceleration traced to the RADIUS using the Titan.

  One final note, even with the start-up error, After Effects reports successfully Titan GTX under information GPU (see image below)

• TimeLapse by using Adobe after effects CC

  I use After Effects to create a composition of timelapse. I was able to create the timelapse without problem, but my calculations seem to be different from what After Effects is showing me.

  I wanted to create a timelapse for 6 seconds to 24 fps. So I thought that I would need 6 x 24 = 144 images. I took a picture every 1 minute and it took me 2 hours and 25 minutes. I imported all the images into After Effects and created a publication to 24 fps. I drag the images to the timeline of the composition, and it shows me only 4.2 seconds.

  When you import a sequence of images, the default values of the frame rate to 30 frames per second in AE.  You can change the frame rate in the settings to Interpret images.  Highlight the item in the project window.  Go to file > interpret > main.  Change the number of frame rates from 30 to anything you want.
