After Firefox updated itself, extension icons no longer appear

Firefox itself upgrade 17.0.1 and toolbars disappeared. The icons for the Noscript & Fireshot does not appear, or that they are in the menu system, even if they appear in the add-on Manager. If they are not compatible, how can I go back to the previous version of Firefox?

Yes, it works. I soon to do this because I did not know how many parameters I would lose. But it did the trick.

    It depends on the update and the program that was hit.

    To find out what update is causing the problem note the installed updates. You can perform the system restore and restore the system to the date that the program worked very well.

    Right-click in a space of taskbar oprn > select Task Manager > processes tab > right-click on explorer.exe > click on end process > Applications tab > click New task... > of Opeb, enter explorer.exe > OK when.

    You check office. There the icons? If so, reboot, still exist the icons?

    If the foregoing does nopt working, do a system restore.
    Choose a date where you did not have this problem as your restore point.

    I take a course online and since Firefox updated tonight, I have no sound with video. It is the same for any u tube, etc.. No sound. The video is good, just no sound. Imperative that I get sound back. I guess that's a few add-on which was disabled, but I don't see anything in the EXTENSIONS section, which would be linked to this.

    I had my son take a look, and he concluded that the button MUTE on. I have no recollection of the snap at any time, but when it was turned off, everything was fine.

    I use Firefox on Windows XP. After Firefox has been updated to version 30.0, the attachments in Gmail and Yahoo mail popup are not displayed to the top. By clicking on the attach icon shows no response. Its working perfectly fine in Chrome. I removed the extensions and tried again, but the problem persists.

    It works fine now. Add-ons are enabled, but the hardware acceleration is disabled. That seems to have done the trick. Thanks for your help.

    Have you tried to close and restart Firefox or restart the computer?

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

  • I can't watch videos from Netflix, YouTube. Firefox updated itself and I had problems of hue. Flash is updated to 16.0 but it turns off. I use a windows 8

    Flash 11.9 needed to be updated so I did and now have 16.0 but the 11.9 is still in my Add ons and continues to turn on say it needs an update and has been blocked. The 16.0 turns off even if I am constantly turning on and off the 11.9. I have no option to delete each plugin despite all the 'help' in the guides online. I get a blank screen on Netflix, its success and miss out on Youtube (depending on if 16.0 has not extinguished itself again) and I can't watch half videos posted on Facebook. It's extremely frustrating and yes I have uninstalled and reinstalled sliver with no change in the situation.

    If you use extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) which can block content (e.g., Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that these extensions are not blocking content.

  • after firefox updated to version 6.02, bookmarks, history and settings were missing. It looks like my old profile was replaced by a new vacuum.

    Windows 7 on a Dell desktop computer. Firefox updated to version 6.02 yeaterday. When I then opened it, I found nothing, nor the software let me restore backup bookmarks.

    One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.
