After format and install Win XP Home and SP3 why can't open the Microsoft web sites?
Need help, guys
I had to replace my HARD drive in my computer. I installed my Windows XP Home SP2 disc. After installation, I used my SP3 upgrade drive and my drive to upgrade to IE8. After you install all my drivers, I tried to get Windows dates and discovered that I could not access the Microsoft web sites. I get Internet Explorer cannot display this page. I tried to find out why this is happening and how to correct the situation, but have not found an answer that works yet. Can someone give me an answer to this question.
I have another (used) computer that I formatted the HDD installed and on Windows 7 and have had no problems to access the Microsoft web sites on. It uses the same modem cable like the other computer so I guess that everything is ok with my Internet connection. This problem seems to be only with Windows XP Home SP 3.
Think in advance for any help

You want to install the Player from the Microsoft Web site? "that it takes to the site and there is no available media player Windows 7, installed WMP 11 does not work either. Do you remember the last time that your Media Player worked properly? You can use the system restore (type it in the start menu to find) to go back on this point. This restoration takes about 2 minutes and will not affect your files - no matter how far you go. It simply restores your system files and settings.

I did a clean install of firefox 31 and now I can't get on any web site of Ustream, it works on IE and Chrome.
I tried all the advice I could find on the help section, but nothing works. I reinstalled everything is new so it's all of this to date, but not a single site Ustream.tv will load. I can put them on IE and chrome. The question may be because of your corrupt cookie (cookies.sqlite) file
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete the other files of cookie present as cookies.sqlite - journal in the Firefox profile folder where the cookies.sqlite file has been corrupted.

Original title: WINDOWS license
Hello everyone.
Ive broke my PAvilion G6 core i5 laptop and now I'm going to change the internal hard drive. How can I use my old license of Windows 7. On the MIcrosoft Web site, when I put my product key, they say this license is already in use and I must ask the manufactor PC.
I thank in advance for which will help me!
Hello
Or you can also borrow the same exact retail edition DVD of Windows 7 and use your product key to reinstall.
The COA sticker with the product key is either or in the battery compartment on the underside of the laptop.
With a desktop computer, it's on the side, the back or the top of the computer case.

I can't join or create a group of houses in windows 7 it says my pc and laptop cannot create a how I should I followerd all articles I can find on the microsoft kills site
Hey borq Queen,.
Welcome back you hear. If, after completing all the steps below, you are still unable to create or join a homegroup, I think that the issue is to do with IP/V6.
Check your setting of the adapter for IP/V6. Your network connection must have IPv6 enabled to create or join a homegroup. If it is disabled, follow the steps below to activate it.
(1) right click on the network icon and select open network and sharing Center.
(2) in the window that appears, select change the parameters of the map.
(3) in the network connections window, select the connection to the Local network for the Integrated NIC, and then change the settings for this connection or the file > properties.
(4) in the connection properties page, check the box for Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
Close all windows and restart your system.
Try to create a homegroup.
You should be able to create or join one after the activation of the IP/V6.
Kind regards

I've changed hard drives, re-formatted and partitioned each. Attempts to load XP always get these results. Win 7 loads without problem.
You really have a 64-bit version of XP?
The Windows XP installation CD does not recognize SATA drives. You must either have a SATA drive driver on a floppy disk (floppy drive) so that you can "press F6" during installation or (b) a slipstreamed XP install CD that incorporates the driver SATA or (c) temporarily change the BIOS in legacy IDE mode, install XP and then install the SATA drivers and SATA mode (this can be a bit complicated (: link1, Link2).

If it worked the first time, there is no reason that it will not work the second time on the same computer, as long as the Windows 7 is a full version.
If this is an upgrade version, you must have the qualifying OS installed and enabled before you upgrade and it will work.

Using PDO and Standard of MySQL connection on the same Web site.
Hello everyone
Now I'm finally semi-retired, I finally have the time to build my own Web site. Yes I know, "what, you don't have a personal Web site", well, I don't have time, and like all my clients where by recommendation, I required not one. "
In any case, I intend to use php::pdo for the connection of the side database user and a standard connection on the side of admin, (after the login page).
So what I need to know is, is this acceptable? I remember reading somewhere that provide different connections are not on the same page, it will work, but before I start coding, I was hoping someone could confirm this and talk about the disadvantages they may have knowledge of?
Paula
Sounds a sensible plan for me. Good luck with it.
