Hi AndyCantore,

Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

Start your computer in safe mode

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Step 2: If the problem does not persist in safe mode, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the link step 7 to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

    Hello

    Try this and let me know.

    Boot the computer normally and log.

    Black screen, hold down the ctrl and alt keys and press delete.

    Select Task Manager.

    At the bottom left, select details (if it is not already selected).

    Click in the header of column Nsoul to organize the processes in alphabetical order.

    Look for an entry called to run once Wrapper (RunOnce.exe) - If you see it listed, right-click on it and select end task.

    The office is now show?

    If this is the case, download Autoruns on the following link and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://download.sysinternals.com/files/Autoruns.zip

    When you have that, open your download folder, right-click on the folder zipped to Autoruns, select "extract all...". "and in the next window, click Extract.

    A new window will open displaying the extracted content.  The application you must launch is the 2nd in the list (in format autoruns 636ko) but this by right clicking on it and selecting 'Run as administrator' -click 'Yes' to the uac prompt.

    Scroll down the list until you find the entrance to RunOnce (it may well be 2 entries) and Remove the tick (s) in the box next to it.

    Restart computer and see if it boots now on the desktop.

    Kind regards

  • HP Pavilion dv6000 (Vista) starts with a blank screen with a cursor after the original hp logo screen.

    HP Pavilion dv6000 (Vista) starts with a blank screen with a cursor after the original hp logo screen.  Cannot get it to boot Windows.  Any thoughts on next steps?

    I remove the hard drive and attach it to your desktop and use the host operating system to run a check disk on your drive.  The laptop goes hard disk looking for instructions to start and he does not see the correct code.  This is probably due to a damaged boot sector.  Another idea is that your bios has changed and you have changed the SATA from AHCI to IDE type somehow or vice versa. You also left a non bootable disk in the DVD/CD drive.  Remove all disks from your DVD.

  • How to correctly load an external swf file in iosAir app? I get a blank screen.

    So this code works flawlesly we Air for Android, it works very well when I test the movie in Flash, but once I have the export, I get a blank screen. I've done a swf with a place withotu any code, and flash is still unable to load. It's weird cause everything works well when using the shell to the debug option, but when I goes to the white screen of standard debugging appears on my ipad. I read somewhere that it caused by the way flash saves the link to external files. So after the file is compiled Flash is unable to find the files added prefiously, which results in a blank screen. There is clearly something wrong with the way in which the process of compiling the application.

    Tried this:

    var Xpos:Number = 0;

    var Ypos:Number = 0;

    var loader: Loader = new Loader();

    var link: URLRequest = new URLRequest ("Untitled - 1.swf");

    Loader.Load (Link);

    addChild (loader);

    And this:

    var ldr:Loader = new Loader();

    LDR. Load (new URLRequest ("Untitled - 1.swf"));

    ldr.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, loaded, false, 0, true);

    function loaded(event:Event):void {}

    addChild (event.target.content);

    }

    But nothing works. I still get a blank screen. Is it possible to add the SWF manually in the file descriptor cause flash most likely he mess up? I don't really want to use via the command line.

    Read this article, especially the little loadercontext and currentdomain:

    Well thank you for clicking on my question curiously titled! Now, I want to block access to cookies. I do not want to block cookies, they are useful. Example; ABC let me a cookie, I'm on Zxy which can then read cookie Abc. That's what I want to stop. I don't want a site that does not allow the cookie to be able to see the cookie. I want to keep my cookies, they are something, I'll share with only the one who gave it to me, no one else could even not that I have. I tell myself that there must be a way to do this with Windows, I mean after all it allows read/write access.

    I like the fact that I can write on a cookies this way.

  • Impossible to load windows, just get a black screen with cursor

    I restarted my computer and now Windows will not load. It happens on the screen says 'Windows' in the bottom with green bars. Then it goes to a blank screen with a cursor to work. I left alone for a bit to see if she would just take a while to load and the screen saver came, that works, but I cannot get it on my desk.

    -nothing has been installed recently

    -Tried to reboot in safe mode (cannot enter safe mode)

    -Tried to restore to previous points

    -Tried CTRL + ALT + DELETE (does nothing, can't pull up the Task Manager)

    Hello

    A blackscreen can be very hard to fix. It's my generic convenience store which some you already have
    has tried.

    One to try:

    "C:\Windows\System32\winevt" in this folder is an another NEWSPAPER named one

    Rename the folder of NEWSPAPER LOGSold and restart the computer.

    'C:\Windows\System32\winevt\Logs'-> 'C:\Windows\System32\winevt\Logsold '.

    REN C:\Windows\System32\winevt\Logs C:\Windows\System32\winevt\Logsold

    You can try in a Command Prompt of a disk of Vista or a recovery Partition if you can't navigate to
    the actual winevt file.

    You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
    Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click

    Another method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure)
    CTRL + ALT + DELETE and on the tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - then
    on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe.

    Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.
    That there is no information on a black screen as it is on a blue screen just adds to the
    Difficulty. Often using a restore point or Startup Repair will have no effect. You can try a
