After I transferred photos from the camera to the PC I'm going and watch them in photos and instead of photo icons I get icons flower so I have to go into each photo to see what it is? How can I change this back to the normal state?

  Just to add to the response of cor - el, in my case (identical) was specifically the complement DivX HiQ, worm 2.1.0.900. As soon as I turned it off, the tabs started to behave normally again.

  Just go in the Panel. Programs and features and then click on the left of "view installed updates" and find Windows Internet Explorer 9, and then you can uninstall it.  You should know that it is installed automatically via Windows Update, so you'll need to keep it to be reinstalled.  I think you can go Windows Update manually, and then it will ask you, then you can't deny it there and it should stick.

  The background color is (and was) white when usually browsing photos.  But when you edit a picture, the background color turns black.

  To edit in the Photos under MacOS Sierra app, press the circle button.  (This button is used to say "Change" under OS X El Capitan).  You will then see the black background.

For a while, it worked very well, so I kept needing the old window and you can use the feature 'restore previous session' access to this. However, even after I has no more need (and without me, you select the option, it would still open the previous session.

  Update Firefox 29, the same user interface is used for all types of installations. Changes to the UI are for mobile devices, at the expense of desktop / laptop users. Stupid idea, but we're stuck with it until Firefox falls into the 'other' category graphics use or pie charts. Fundamentally unworthy to have its own category more.
