This morning at about 07:45, 10 February 2010 my wife turned on his computer and went to the internet to perform a quick job on his site related House. She turned off the computer, he started automiatically installation downloaded 12 recently updated Windows. Immediately after, I turned on his computer and I found myself on a blue bright background that started "a problem has been detected and Windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer" after a three paragraphs of suggestions about what to do, including trying to are safe mode and try turning off (1) or remove any newly installed software , diasble (2) any BIOS options for example implementing caching or shading (which none worked, I kept being on the same page when I tried to boot in safe MODE).

At the end of the warning page, there has been:
    TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
    STOP: 0 X 00000050 (0 X 80098004, 0 X 00000000, 0X00000001, 0 X 80515103)

I tried to get someone on the phone at Microsoft. I connect with the man who took my information and transmitted to a tech person. I stressed the need for a response from phone to help you, because the computer has been totally disabled. I have an email response direcing got to a page of FAQ or on this forum. The FAQ in NO HELP. (DID SOMEONE AT MICROSOFT LISTENING?)

Does anyone else have any help to offer?

Given that my computer was NSB turned a few minutes ago, the updates were automatically install themselves. I'm afraid to shut down this computer; Then I can totally disabled unless I get a phone call from Microsoft with the definitive help.

My wife and I are each running Windows XP Home edition. She is from 2003 (SP 1? or 2?), mine is Service Pack 3.

While typing this, my computer has already finished installing updates. He stops at a certain point undefined in the future, like it or not, unless I can sit here and never stop that does not stop every time he asks, until I get an answer that works on my wife's computer.

This is a temporary solution, which removes the offending Windows Update; has worked for me.

1 boot from your Windows XP CD and start the recovery console (press R when prompted to press R for recovery console or return to the Installer). You may need to press F6 while RC loads in order to load the SATA drivers. you will have a prompt c:\WINDOWS to the console.

    2. type: CD $NtUninstallKB977165$ \spuninst (it's the update, I had to uninstall to get out of the boot loop, other updates can be uninstalled by changing the name of the directory to $NtUninstallKBCODE$, where KBCODE is the code KB)

    3. type: BATCH spuninst.txt

    4. type: exit

  • Have a popup that says that Brower settings have been changed. No responcse at all the choices.close and he doesn't come back.

Can only close by rt click on firefox in the task bar.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

Do a check with some malware malware, analysis of programs on the Windows computer.

You need to scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

Alternatively, you can write a check for an infection rootkit TDSSKiller.

If your PC behaves properly, you can remove the hidden Windows hotfix backup files that start with $NTUninstallKB to the WINDOWS folder. There are two ways to do:

    A. manually, but copy files on a CD/DVD first to enable their restoration has a fix must be removed thereafter. Now delete the folder \WINDOWS, but leaves the orphan entries to add / remove programs intact. Remove only the $NTUninstallKB files that relate to corrections, not those for applications such as Word, WMP, etc.. In addition, DO NOT DELETE THE folder$ $hf_mig.

    B. my preference goes to run a script that also removes the corresponding entries in Add / Remove programs. Once they are deleted by the script, they cannot be restored. Download, extract and run this little scripthttp://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_hotfix_backup.htm creating a system restore point first just in case something goes wrong when the update of the register.

    Lisa,
At this point if you have a way to back up your data, I suggest that do you so as soon as possible.  Start the XP that you have installed.  Then copy all your data from the original Windows folder to an external drive or a DVD.

Then, to try to make this repair, boot from the XP disc and select the recovery option.  This will start you in the recovery console prompt.  From there, you can then run the commands to replace the sam file.  Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

  • Create button appear and break slide after that rollover slidelets have been renewed?

    Hello

I'm trying to use conditional actions and standards advanced in order to prompt a user to rolling bearing 5 slidelets before a button 'continue' appears. I attached variables to each slidelet, created the button and marked as invisbile, and created a contitional action but I don't know where to attach them to the action:

    ScreenShot001.jpg

    ScreenShot002.jpg

I use a very complicated method to do something so simple? I tried various methods, approach, but then the project continues to the next slide when he has to pause until the user clicks on the button to continue even if the property "project of break up to what the user clicks" is checked.

Thanks for all your help and I would like to know if there are I can provide additional information.

You have not at all an Expression. Have you looked at this link?

    I would create 5 variables, one for each event working capital: v_RO1, v_RO2, v_RO3, v_RO4, v_RO5 with a default value of 0.

Each rollover event would trigger a conditional in action with two decisions, here RO1_Action for the first overview of the art:

    1. = 'Always' simulated standard action
IF 1 is equal to 1
      Assign the v_RO1 with 1
    2. "CheckAll" = actual condition to check the values of variables:
IF v_RO1 is equal to 1 AND
v_RO2 is equal to 1 AND
v_RO3 is equal to 1 AND
v_RO4 is equal to 1 AND
      v_RO5 is equal to 1
      See the DoneButton

This duplicate and edit the variable in the first decision

Also recommended to change the action on a click for the bearings to no Action instead of continue.

Be sure to insert a click box to pause the slide somewhere on the slide where there is little chance that the user clicked.
