• Windows Movie Maker stops working after importing video MP4

  I am running Movie Maker version 6 and Windows Vista Home Premium. I imported my videos my camcorder Flip Ultra HD from Sony MP4. The clips will play in preview pane and I can edit in the timeline or storyboard table. However, after about 5 minutes of use Moviemaker stops working for no apparent reason. (Moviemaker stopped job searching a solution), is never resolved. It also stops working if I try to see my edited video. I downloaded Moviemaker Live, but it has the same problem.   I tried to import this hour long video in windows movie maker, and the result is that only five seconds of the video is imported. I tried over and over again, but still five seconds of the video is imported.
