I can open these same projects on other computers without any problem, both on PC and Mac. And I can import a project, works normally, then save and open this new project, but I don't think safe to do this for important/big projects. I also now lost for an hour and a half waiting for someone in the chat to.

  First launch After Effects and uncheck the box (if enabled) Mersury delivery option in the Edit menu > Preferences > video previews

  Also in the Edition Menu > Preferences > Previews, check in the GPU information. If it is on the GPU for CPU part or else ignore.

  Try to rename the folder After Effects OLD_After effects on the slot location. Make sure that After Effects is closed.

  Try to go to view | Layout and turn off the preview pane, so that the message does not open when you select.  Select the message and press and hold the SHIFT key and press the Remove button to remove it permanently.  See if it works.

  I assume you mean Windows Search 4, a repellent piece of software. Uninstall it and then install it again. Change your settings for Windows Automatic Update for "download and notify me when updates are ready ' so you can watch what you first install.

  You can usually uninstall Windows Search of add/remove programs. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!
