  It is the first time I saw this problem in all my years of using all versions of Windows. I have a folder on my desktop. It is empty, so I tried to remove it and got a message saying: it cannot be deleted because it isn't here. I tried to rename it with the same result. I did a complete search in the register the name of this folder and it came negative.

  You may have a problem due to the use of some not printable or other special characters.

  Open a command prompt, change to the directory where this folder is located, and type

  dir /x {Enter}

  That should show you the "short name" (i.e., 8 characters) for the folder.  Your file should show that

  ELITTL ~ 1

  Now, make an order of RD using the short name:

  RD ELITTL ~ 1 {Enter}

I've always loved that you could control the degree of color a little noise with the threshold slider and it's a little frustrating that it is no longer an option.   We need your help to solve problems 1 question we receive many users after application PeopleSoft Kerberos SSO against AD. This problem is specific to Windows 7 PC and where the Kerberos token is not available.

  A few facts we know:

  Kerberos fails for users who are not connected to the system using AD domain (like Kerberos token is not valid).

  These users are not on AD Doamin so SSO fails, which is understandable. But - we've designed our solution in such a way - when AUTHENTICATION fails, it will trigger a Peoplesoft login screen. The user can manually provide its credentials (name of user/AD password) and authentication LDAP directory will be triggered using ad servers.

  Note: our site is enabled for SSL (HTTPS)

  Windows 7 when the person tries to connect which is outside AD domain, SSO fails (in the form of token not found)-> PeopleSoft Login sreen rises to the HTTPS-> user to connect using AD userid and password-> PeopleSoft login screen gets refreshed and notheing happens.

  We put in login secuity 'True' in the Web.XML for Kerberos settings.

• After the Fusion 3 / Windows Installer, 2 XP VM Fusion does not open

  I've been running Fusion 2.0.6 with a Windows XP virtual machine. I installed a trial version of Fusion 3.0.1 on which I installed a Windows 7 (64 bit) VM, leaving the old disk (Windows XP) virtual intact. I tried a clean install of Fusion 3.0.1 / Windows 7, to clean up the application install and add the XP disc so I could migrate data files.

  Now, I have the worst of all worlds - not only the VM 7 Win looks like an old version of 2 months of the XP virtual machine, but I can no longer start the XP virtual machine, which returns this error when I try:

  Cannot open disk ' / users/Lehrman/Documents/Virtual Machines.localized / Windows Professional.vmwarevm XP / Windows XP Professional - 000007.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on.

  Reason: The virtual disk parent has been changed since the child was created

  Did you add the XP VM Fusion 3 / Win 7 VM change so it cannot be opened? I assumed that the Fusion 3 assessment would not replace version 2 but the VMWare Fusion.app in my Applications folder is dated September 22, 2009 and shows version 3.0.1 under properties. It is ony a Fusion version 2?

  In this thread, I said to make sure that you have removed your snapshot files in the Snapshot Manager, so the latest changes to XP VM were in the base VMDK file.  Implicit, but didn't get your XP disk to a different computer virtual while having shots according to the XP disc may invalidate these shots (and the changes they contain).  Choose the VMDK (without all - 000001.vmdk suffix) base on another virtual machine, without first deleting snapshots would be a bad idea.

  If you have a backup of virtual XP disk of origin who depend on snapshot files, you can restore this drive and the XP machine working again.  If this isn't the case, you may have to write off snapshots or frustrate the modification timestamp check.
