After the upgrade to iOS 9.2, I have no service and my battery drains quickly

I have an iPhone 6. I live in England.

I have upgraded to iOS 9.2 two days ago and I saw two problems since:

  1. I can not get any mobile service. I see the 'no. Service' at the top left of the home screen when I try to search for the service. A Wi - fi connection still works fine. I turned my phone off and on again, and while it does not find service briefly, it goes quickly back to 'No Service'. I tried to enter the Mobile Carrier settings area and deactivate the options, turn it back on. Nothing has worked.
  2. My battery drains very quickly. It is 14:12 in the afternoon and I currently have 29% of battery. Usually I didn't have come down below 60% when I get home at 5 pm, because I do not use my phone very strongly. The Gmail application took 35 percent of my independence despite spending only 9 minutes on screen. My phone is hotter that it would normally be.

I have heard that when a mobile phone search service repeatedly, it uses a lot of battery. This phone has been updated with the airplane Mode + Wi - fi since this morning - I did have this service at any time you are looking for today.

People have recommended reset my settings, but I don't know what this will do to my phone, so I didn't, as whenever someone suggests it, it does not work for the afflicted person.

Is there anywhere I can check the reports of bugs with the 9.2 release? I feel like there is a problem with it, but I don't see anything on the internet to suggest that.

    Start safe mode and see if there are still have the problem there. Safe mode is slow and some things do not work, but it prevents some third-party boot loading software. If your keyboard works properly in Mode without fail, this would imply that some third-party software is causing the problem. If so, check the updates.

    It also takes more time to start because the BONE is clean some system caches that can also help.

    I haven't seen this pop up on other forums yet, but my iPhone 6 Plus does not double tapping on my lock screen after that I upgraded to iOS 10.

    I went into the settings of the portfolio and Apple pay and made sure that allow access when it is locked is on.  Does anyone else know this?

    After upgrading my 6 + iOS 9.3.2 my screen freezes and does not respond.  Currently running applications continue to run, but I can't interact with them.  If I go back to the phone later, the problem disappeared, but I don't know how long it took.  Then the problem comes back.  Even after a factory reset, with none of the applications running, my screen will freeze.

    When you say factory reset, did your restore as new or from a backup?

    If restore you to the new and the problem persists, I make an appointment with the genius bar and take your phone to Apple and looked at him.

    I turned the phone on and off several times, and also to do a reset (now hold both power and home until the apple logo appears). neither helped. I double-clicked the original key and removed the phone application and all other applications, then restarted the phone application, which also helped.

    I think that what I had was specific to my carrier - as well as anyone with this problem likely needs to communicate with their provider!

    For Ting (Sprint), here's what I had to do:

    1. to connect to a Wi - Fi network

    2. dial # 873283 #.

    3. press the call key

    4. press "Start Service Update" and wait a minute or two.

    5. press on "Full Service Update" and wait a minute or two for the phone to reconnect to the Sprint network.

    6. once the upper line shows that Sprint is connected, I could make and receive phone calls.

    Hello:

    I noticed a HUGE increase in mobile data usage by my phone (iPhone 6s) after the iOS to 10.0.2 update.    I had not changed anything since before the update.  A few days after my phone iOS update my more than double to 15 days prior to the cell data update!   I went under a GB to 2.2 GB for two days.  I am only allowed 2.5 GB of my company.   Assist of WiFi was interrupted. I am connected to a wifi most of the time, all day at the office and at home in the morning and in the evening.  I haven't changed my phone usage habits nor have I down loaded new applications.   I also did all the stuff reset once I downloaded the update as turning on and off, hold down home and appears on the sides until that little Apple.

    I looked in the cell parameters section and noticed a few things that consume more data:

    Facebook: I had disabled cell Facebook use.   However, there was a large amount of data used. I also, by habit, only check Facebook when I'm at a known wifi spot as the House or the office.   It was less than a MB before and near a GB of data in 2 days.

    YouTube: Idem, had turned off cell phones and only look at the House.

    Maps - never used but the use of data.

    e-mail-HUGE amount of data used.  Normal use for me. in the past, the amount of data has been a MB.  Now it's 65 MG in 2 days,

    Siri - I do not use Siri as in "Hey Siri" or by using voice commands.  I use it from time to time to the voice on texts.

    AccuWeather.  Even.

    It's just as much as the apps that I use, the rest is electronic mail and stuff systems.   I uninstalled nearly all applications except for the few that I need as my ticket train and planning aps and mail want to stop this.   I won't send any imessages anymore.

    Yes! I have iPhone 6 - after that the update almost all my data is gone for the month! I do not have Wifi Assist on and I only use data when I'm home and can connect to Wifi!

    I see my iPhone to connect to my Wifi then bounce to the cellular network. I have no problem with my home wifi network. This problem also occurs in the work.     OK, I seem to have found a solution: I have copy to iTunes files that are in the PS button on my iPad, and then I extract them from iTunes on my Mac. I select the PSD format until I have copy in iTunes, and I'm doing this operation with lots of about 50 cases at a time. If I select more than one file to copy, tactile PS crashes.

    I see after update your iPhone to iOS 10, you don't see the Game Center app in your app list. I understand, I use Game Center too much and want to help you with this.

    In iOS 10, Game Center as removed from the home screen. You can still access the Game Center profile and let invites players nearby by following this path: settings > Game Center.
