  You may be able to mark the partition on which is installed the operating system as being active.

  The server itself is a Dell Vostro 410 with a Quad Core cpu and 8 GB of ram.

  Im getting the error "There are not enough licenses installed to run the operation." after passing by the web wizard and make a virtual machine and try to start.

  When I click on the link ' power on ' this message appears as the error immediately detailed.

  The server runs a student version of windows serv licensed 2003 (if that makes a diff).

I read all the posts of people having the same error message, but their problem is different from mine because my problem is specifically limited to this file. I've trashed preferences, hidden and shown the toolbar Application and an open framework of other files and makes them great as possible, has the file open on the file menu, instead of double clicking, and none of these methods work.

Since the pc went slowly & with money problems... But it does not work.

Shivkumar, I also encountered this problem, and after following the instructions given by Linney, I've isolated the problem to the boot service "CheckNDISPort", which was linked to the MTS MBlaze program on my computer. It is not a virus, nothing to worry about. You can stop this from happening by disabling the boot service called 'CheckNDISPort' in the tab, start the System Configuration utility. It is not to damage your computer if you keep it checked.
