After updating Firefox, trying to comment on results in a window that closes before loading and refreshes the YouTube page.
After updated my Firefox to v.32.0.3, trying to comment or upvote a comment on YouTube results in a pop-up window brief which closed until it has loaded, then on the page YouTube refreshes. I tried to run Firefox with disabled modules, but the problem remains. Commenting on using a different browser (Chrome) works perfectly. Has anyone else encountered this problem? A few tips on how to solve it?
Thank you!
I was see this problem for many weeks now on 3 different computers - running Windows 8.1, 7 and Vista, respectively. I'm happy to report that I found the solution. In the Options-> privacy dialogue, you make an Exception for the 3rd party Cookies from Google.com. It's sad that OP should go through all this irrelevant advice.

My mail winedows never gave me any problems. One day it just wouldn't let me send email. Many calls and the help of my ISP and hours of typing in info on their part still never solved the problem. I wonder if I can uninstall the windows messaging, reinstall direct mail, then put in the settings manually or is it pre-fill my previous version information.
There is usually a little more of an error message, but... Try to compact and repair the database. Also, make sure that your antivirus will not e-mail scan. -

There are security software such as Avast and Kaspersky that intercepts secure connections and sends its own certificate.
If you have Avast then try disabling the analysis of HTTPS in the Web Shield, Avast.

If you cannot inspect the certificate by "I understand the risks", then try this:
Open the "Add Security Exception" this URL chrome by pasting into the address bar of Firefox and check the certificate:
- chrome://pippki/content/exceptionDialog.XUL
In the field of location of this window, type or paste the URL of the Web site.
- retrieve the certificate via the button 'Get certificate '.
- Click on the "view..." button. "to inspect the certificate in the certificate display
You can check details such as the issuer and the certificate chain in the Details tab of the certificate display.
Check which is the issuer of the certificate.
If necessary, you can attach a screenshot that shows the display of the certificate. -

after update, firefox will not open
After the update, firefox does not start. Maybe because I thought that it will re-start the first time I started computer. the instructions have always given this option
Try to download the full version and trash the current installed version to do a cleanup (re) install the latest version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the file on the desktop disk image (dmg)
- Firefox 15.0.x: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
- Basket of the current application of Firefox (for example, open the Applications folder in Finder and drag the Firefox application to the trash) to do a clean install (re) -
- Install the new version you downloaded
Your profile data is stored in the Firefox profile folder, so you will not lose your bookmarks and other personal data if you uninstall and (re) install Firefox.

After updating Firefox, most of my available search engines top right changed the United States to the UK (except Google I'd rather not use) versions. I'm unable to retrieve Yahoo USA or Amazon or Ebay search engines.
The sounds that you got the version of Firefox GB with the update.
You can download en version and uninstall the current version of en - us and install the US version.
Download a new copy of Firefox and save the file to the desktop.
- Firefox 12.0.x: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Do NOT remove the data personal when you uninstall your current version of Firefox, because all profile files will be deleted and you will also lose your personal data such as bookmarks and passwords from other versions of Firefox profiles.
Your bookmarks and other profile data stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a relocation, but make sure that you do not select delete data of a personal nature if you uninstall Firefox.

Here is a solution to this problem: open Firefox, go to the page web toolbar.yahoo.com and click on reinstall to get the Version 2.4 of the Yahoo toolbar. It is compatible with Firefox 7. I use it on Firefox 7 without any problems!

Hi stephenm26904611,
Thank you for your bug report about the extension to create a file PDF Acrobat being disabled in FF v43.
It is a known issue and we are working on that.
We intend to provide support in the future updates.
Meanwhile, as a solution, you can use Adobe Create PDF extension for Chome and Internet Explorer, or use Acrobat to convert web pages to PDF.
Thank you

I am creating a web page that contains an embedded chart in MS Excel. I would like to table automatically update (refresh) to illustrate direct information viewers without having to refresh the entire page. I found that there is a way to activate this via Excel, but with my current subscription can not access this feature. I hope there is a way to do this using Adobe Muse CC. If it is not possible, I would like to know if there is a way to add a button "Refresh" which refreshes only the embedded section (Excel table) of the page for viewers to use manually. Thank you for your help.
Update! The embedded worksheet is truly integrated using HTML rather than javascript.

If he has problems with the update or the permissions then simpler is to download the full version and trash the version currently installed to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the file on the desktop disk image (dmg)
- Firefox 9.0.x: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
- Trash the present application Firefox to do a clean (re-) install
- Install the new version you downloaded
Your profile data is stored in the Firefox profile folder, so you will not lose your bookmarks and other personal data if you uninstall and (re) install Firefox.

Unable to connect to the internet after updating Firefox
I've upgraded to Firefox 39 earlier and I can not EVEN access the internet. I put it through my phone. NEED of QUICK HELP please. Thank you.
Try to remove all the rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall to ask permission to get access full and unrestricted, again to install for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

You can also try to contact Norton support.

I used DownloadHelper for years and have not had this problem before. He started about the time I did the update to Firefox, but I don't know which was the exact trigger. It seems you are trying a download that something is listed in the list of downloads of Firefox, but it never ends. I also tried to install video downloader 1 - click on You-tube and had the same problem.
I did not use DownloadHelper 5, so the problem must be something else, and it also happens with 1-click YouTube Downloader.

Netflix error after updating Firefox (34.0.5)
Went to bed watching Netflix, then woke up a few hours later to find that Firefox has automatically updated to 34.0.5 and I could no longer access any video Netflix... I get an error Code N8152 Netflix, which refers to a DRM/Silverlight error. Netflix continues to operate correctly in IE and Chrome.
Following the instructions of Netflix, I have uninstalled/reinstalled Silverlight several times (making sure to I have the latest version). I checked that the Silverlight plug-in is set to "Always enable" and that it is 'Authorized' and enabled for Netflix.com. (I also follow all other Netflix troubleshooting tips, even though I know that they are not relevant, for example disable protection antivirus and Netflix.com added as a trusted site, etc...)
I also tried some of the others the different 'fixes' such that force new downloads of the file mspr.hds, but nothing helps.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Hi tommyj1112, microsoft has published a faulty update for silverlight by the monthly patchday yesterday (and disabled again later). You can try this fixit tool to restore your https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2608523 installation or reinstall silverlight manually?

Just updated Firefox to update from 28 to 31. Now, every time I close a tab (by clicking the x to the right of the current tab), rather than close this tab, it opens another tab just to the right of the tab I'm closing. Subsequent attempts produce the same result... with a series of new tabs, building to the right of the current tab with every click. Only way to close the tabs must leave and then re - open Firefox, but the problem continues as before.
Until I can find a solution for this, I want to go back to 28 - is this possible and if so, how?
TIA
Update: Firefox updated itself, it only is complaint not on the current versions of the Add - ons installed.
On a whim, I went to Tools/Add-ons and noticed that one point, Tab Mix Plus, indicated that there is an update available. Once this update has been installed and restarted FF, the problem no longer existed.
Problem solved by installing the 0.4.1.4 TMP!
NOTE: Maybe the FF 31.0 update process should be amended to flag Tab Mix Plus versions prior to 0.4.1.4 when it verifies the compatibility of the add-on.
