After updating to the latest version for Win7 64 bit, I get the following error: error: platform version "6.0" is not compatible with: minVersion >; 6.0.1 MaxVersion <; 6.0.1 "»
On top of the above message says XULRunner
Is ZoneAlarm that is causing this problem and there is nothing that Mozilla can do about it.
ZoneAlarm Extreme protects files and Firefox can not update files for new versions.
You will need to do a clean reinstall and disable ZA extreme during the installation.

When the latest version of Firefox has been installed it gave me a message that the McAfee software was not compatible and so I have more protection against viruses. She added that when it became compatible I would be informed. I cannot afford to be without my virus protection and want to revert to an earlier version of Firefox.
I hope that the problem is that Firefox 5 is not compatible with some of the additional modules of McAfee. It will be rather worrying if she has a problem with McAfee security programs themselves. Please specify exactly what software and the version that you have problems with.
There are problems with McAfee Site Advisor /questions/839953 #answer - 205178 known but we hope McAfee that will resolve in a few weeks.

I receive this error. I completely deleted firefox out of my computer, but I always get this message when you try a clean install.

This is an image of what appears when I click on Firefox
This usually happens because of a Firefox update failure that left you with a mixture of old and update files in the Firefox program folder.
Do a clean reinstall and delete the program folder before Firefox to (re) install a new copy of the current version of Firefox.
- Download the installer of Firefox and save the file to the desktop

If possible to uninstall your current version of Firefox to clean the Windows registry and settings in the security software.
- Do NOT remove the "personal data" when you uninstall your current version of Firefox, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data such as bookmarks and passwords including data profiles created by other versions of Firefox.
Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (32-bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"

Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a uninstall and (re) install, but do NOT delete personal data when you uninstall Firefox which removes all Firefox profile folders and you lose your data.

"This version of directx is not compatible with the installed version of windows."
I am running directx11. I understand that Windows 7 comes with it and that directx11 are not all components from previous versions of directx, what makes certain games unplayable.
Im having this problem with my game: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistagaming/thread/f31308d2-3165-47c8-9dc8-61a89ac926a7 and I think it's a problem with directx.
However, when I visit this link for updating my directX, I get the following error: "this version of directx is not compatible with the installed version of windows."
I have a copy of legitimate Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, I received from my school. Any ideas anyone?

I did a sfc/scannow by running the CMD prompt. Finally, there was an error in the registry and it was fixed. RE5 running very well now. Thank you!

Error: Platform version 1.9.2.4 is not compatible with minVersion > = 1.9.2.6 maxVersion = 1.9.2.6 maxVersion
Eric, this can happen after an update has failed that partially changed your Firefox installation directory.
Try a clean reinstall:
1. Download the Firefox installer from Mozilla.com and save it to your desktop or other location. 2. Make sure that Firefox is closed completely 3. Delete the Firefox installation directory (On Windows, this is typically the C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox folder that contains "firefox.exe" and other Firefox program files and folders). 4. Reinstall Firefox by running the installer you downloaded previously.
Your personal settings, including bookmarks and history, will not be lost.

Compaq CQ58 - 299EV model of updated video card and driver for win7 64 bit and ram upgrade
Hello
Since I was my compaq laptop (about a year), it was windows 7 64 bit operating system inside, even if the manual was for windows 8. So, when I looked up initially for up-to-date drivers I couldn't find support for win8, but I chose not to because I saw tons of compatibility issues with this model of laptop. Well I don't want to update soon, so I would like to know what are the latest drivers I can find for my model for win7 64-bit.
So, what model of video card has it built in (it just says: "Intel(r) HD Graphics"), so I can find the right drivers for it?
Also can I put my ram? There are now 2 GB.Thanks in advance.
Since it is a Celeron processor it comes:
Intel HD Graphics (on models with Intel Pentium or Celeron processor; supports DirectX 10)
They don't give him a number. The processor is based on the Sandy Bridge architecture, so any driver for the video card HD 3000 series will work.
Latest version of the Intel driver
This can take up to 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3-1333 SO-DIMM, like this:
Here is the Manual:
See page 45 for the upgrade procedure.
If it's 'the Answer' please click on 'Accept as Solution' to help others find it.

I used without problem my USB cable for over a year, it is original Apple and yesterday began to show a sign that it is not compatible with the device. How can not be supported if it's Apple.
This can occur if the cable is damaged in any way. See: recharge your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - Apple Support for more information.

In the menu tasks of my norton Security window, there is a place to check protection against vulnerabilities. One of the concerns that he has an infection in my toolbar on firefox. He suggests that the best way to resolve was made to upgrade to a new version og. google, because as the still there is apparently no problem for it. When I tried to upgrade to a new version of google to cancel the former an open window and told firefox or most recent is not compatible with it. They said that I should either download something from firefox to fix or connect with firefox. Ido know even where to start, not very informed on the problems of this kind. / your help would be very appreciated. What should I do?
You can use firefox 3.6, which is old, but always taken in charge and course. However, the best solution is to renounce the use of Google Toolbar because Google no longer support this with firefox, mainly because he has little to offer.
You can always google bookmark by copying in Firefox. Please take a look at

What can help with ideas and solutions.
I hope that the Norton report, you make reference to simply says that your system has vulnerabilities, rather that he suffers from a real infection (or that he has treated or quarantined malware).

"Firefox 3.6.22 it is highly recommended...". »
Made to make the Web better
"Unfortunately the latest version...". »
Firefox 4 and later requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.
If he has problems with the update or the permissions then simpler is to download the full version and trash the version currently installed to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the file on the desktop DMG
- Firefox 3.6.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
- Trash the present application Firefox to do a clean (re-) install
- Install the new version you downloaded
Your profile data is stored in the Firefox profile folder, so you will not lose your bookmarks and other personal data.

What is the latest version of Windows Media Player compatible with WM 6.5?
I have a HTC Touch Pro 2 running Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone. What is the latest version of Windows Media Player, I can use?
You can not.
Your question was not entirely clear.
WMP is for XP, not the HTC device. If you have Windows mobile on your HTC, then it will be a Media Player built into it. If you have the latest version, AFAIK you update from 6.5 to what is the latest version of Windows Mobile. If its 6.5, then you already have the latest version.
You can also see the MS Windows Mobile...
See you soon,.
