  Thanks Jessen, earlier this morning, I found the assoc and ftype commands and managed to force the association in this way. I did this from an elevated command prompt:

  ftype JNLPFile = "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\javaws.exe" '%1 '.

  1. click on drop down Filters & Versions

  

  2. click on the 'install' dropdown button for desire application and select CC with the original basic version.

  Step 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...) Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

  If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.  Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

After you have installed windows 7 ultimate successfully, I was more able to connect or see all the networks. The diagnosis error indicates that I can miss a network card, or if I don't have one, the driver may need to be reinstalled. I saw a previous post and answer that looked very similar, but the difference is that I am out of my network card driver, so I'm not able to download any other drivers. -help me please!

  The problem you describe looks like you are maybe install the wrong driver for your sound card.
  Have you checked that the driver is for your specific device?
  If you look in your system's Device Manager, is there a yellow exclamation next to the audio controller?
