After you run the 2011-12-15 updates, Windows Firewall does not start.

I have my computer set up to run automatically updates. After the last set of updates, I am unable to start Windows Firewall by all means. Service, Mpssvc has an error message "cannot read the description: error code 15100" when I check it in the Services window. I am running Vista Home Premium 64-bit with Service Pack 2 installed.

I ran the Microsoft Fixit for firewall services and received the message that "Windows Firewall service is not running or is not started. The Fixit was not able to start the firewall and Mpssvc.

-What updates caused the problem to occur?

Updated version has a problem in the history of the update.

a. open Windows Update by clicking on the button start. In the search box, type Update, and then in the list of results, click Windows Update.

(b) in the left pane, click view update history.

c. to display more information about an update, double-click it.

Follow these methods and see if the problem still occurs.

Method 1:

Do SFC scan and check if the problem is related to the integrity of system files.

Method 2:

Do System Restore to the point that your computer worked very well and install updates manually ensuring that do not install the problem causing the update unless it says 'important update '.

I have a big problem today. I applied the SSL configuration for weblogic and OBIEE. It worked very well with the Keystore demo. After selfsigned keystore is created and applied to weblogic admin_server, the server will stop and now it does not start. Here is the log, I checked the name of user and password several times. also I removed the boot.properties file and it is generated again when starting.

I used the following commands to generate custome keystore.

I can't identify when it started, but Windows Vista does not start upward, with success of a full stop. The best way to speed up your computer is to eliminate startup items which are unnecessarily run at startup.
