AI data seem to be fallen on the NI USB-6211 case
Hi all
It seems that, after a thorough inspection, I am having some problems with a DAQ USB (USB-6211). I try to read and to capture a series of samples to a fixed dt for a fixed rate (i.e. 50 ksps / s to 50 kHz for 1 s). At every point I have retrieve the data (using the vi DAQmx Read), I add the (recovered as a waveform) data to all previously retrieved data (using the vi Append waveform). After that I captured my 50 kS, I then ship the data off the coast in a queue for processing in the frequency domain using one of the FFT routines. Pretty easy, right? However, according to what is happening on the desktop, it seems that the data acquisition time can vary at least +/-20 we tell me that some of the sampled data may have been deleted (if only a few samples) and is irregularly spaced out in time. It is a problem like falling none of the data is likely to skew the results in the frequency domain.
If you have a thought, please let me know.
Thanks, Matt
Thanks for the timely response, kikiduu and I apologize for the delay in responding. It turns out that I've implemented my evil FFT and it was question thereal I deal with. Briefly, I was generating a tophat in the shape of signal in the frequency domain, and then using the IDFT to convert the singal to a time field that could be sent to the DAC. When I got the signal that I had generated, depended on the result of the where the AO signal was sampled. The simple answer to why it happened was with the windowing feature that I used.
However, as you pointed out, my use of the DAQmx Read and add waveforms is unnecessary and causes data drops that I demanded a fixed number of samples each time. I have since implemented the reading as you suggested and everything works perfectly (and uses a lot less time CPU). Thanks for the comments.
Cheers, Matt

Using the NI USB-6009 case to generate a 12VDC output and output current of 300mA
Hello
I use the OR-USB-6009 my power supply for a 12VDC with drive current of 300 solenoid my. Initially, I used a non reverse Op-amp circuit and Inverter circuit operational amplifier to get the + 12V and - 12V output but I could not get the current I required. Should I use a transistor?
Please find attached photos. Any input would be appreciated.
Thank you
Adam
Well, really depend on your piercing circuit. But I used most systems use the transistor to set the voltage of the device to 0V. So when your DIO is high, the output is actually 0V (low). So using a converter chip, your release of the DIO will be sort of the output circuit. If you get the right IC, then the inverter will give you also a few extra current to drive your transistor.

With the NI USB-6008 case error-200077
I try to run the C program example with my NI USB-6008 data acquisition card. I am trying to run the example of "ContGen - ExtClk.c". I get the following error when I build the program:
DAQmx error: the requested value is not supported for this property value. The value of the property may be invalid because it is in conflict with another property.
Property: DAQmx_SampTimingType
Asked the value: DAQmx_Val_SampClk
You can select: DAQmx_Val_OnDemand
Task name: _unnamedTask<0>
State code:-200077
End of the program, press the Enter key to exit
Thanks for any help.
Have you done a search for this error code? As you can see on the care for the 6008, the analog output is only software timed, so you can select calendar on request. Your real update rate will vary a little, and according to specifications, have a maximum of 150 s/s.

The PCIe for USB 6211 OEM replacement
Hi you all,.
We want to change our design to use PCIe card data acquisition, since we had a few USB driver problem in the past. Is the PCIe-6321 a good match to replace the capture USB-6211-OEM card
Is there a better alternative?
Thank you
Fabrice
Hello Fabrizio,
Thank you for taking an interest in our line of PCIe cards DAQ. I took a glance at the USB-6211 OEM and PCIe-6321 to see if they are similar in specifications and capabilities. I would say the 6321 is a good match to replace your current USB card. As long as you intend to use no more i/o lines than expected or exceeds the designated sampling rate then it should be a good substitute.
If you need high speed sampling or more i/o lines for various tasks, then another card can better meet your needs.

We get the popup "USB device not recognized", when nothing is connected.
Original title: pop up message
I connected the USB cord to transfer information from your old phone to new phone via Itunes. Since that time that I keep getting a pop up message that says: device not recognized USB, the defective device, windows does not recognize. Nothing is plugged in, but message appears every few seconds. How can I get him to stop?
Hello
It seems that you are getting the popup "USB device not recognized", when nothing is connected.
What is the brand and model of your computer?
I suggest to uninstall the USB controllers and check if you get the context menu.
Method 1: Remove and reinstall all USB controllers
a. clickStart, type devmgmt.msc in the start search box and press ENTER.
b. expandBus USB controllers.
c. right-click on each device under theBus USB controllers node and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
d. restart the computer, and windows will install the rear USB drivers.
If reinstalling USB host controllers fails to resolve the issue, go to method 2.
Method 2: See the procedure suggested by johnkelly46 responded on October 26, 2009, from this link.
If you have additional problems, please reply to this post and we will be happy to help you further.

measurement of the current usb or 6009
I'm trying to trace the evolution of a CCCV charger while it loads a 60V lithium-ion battery. I know that the charge rate is (1/6) C and the nominal capacity of the battery is 26Ahr resulting in a current of 4.33 has during this constant stage. I have the NI USB-6009 case and that e/s analog devices is estimated at 50 Ma, so I can't connect a thread of the charger directly on the device OR. I was thinking of buying a CT that connects directly to the material NOR and run the (+) lead from charger through the CT, as it charges the battery. What is the best way to go with the flow for a complete charge cycle? What are the other options to draw current developments?
A CurrentTransformer will work with current alternative...
A CT compensated with element Hall (research LEM) can measure AC / DC...
I'd look for a Hall Allegro current sensor... has a galvanic isolation output, and the output is the input range 6009.

What's happening and where the change happened? How can I get my pictures on my mediaplayer again?
taaiewillem,
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum. Unfortunately, a lot of registry cleaners may end up doing more harm than good. I would check with the registry program, to see if it created any type of original backup before you start. Now when you say that you "reset the registry to an older date" did you do this through the system restore? If not then I suggest to run a system restore to a date prior to the registry "cleaning". If that does not resolve the issue, then you do a repair installation.System Restore: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084 Mike - engineer Microsoft Support responses

I am trying to write a simple code for a HH306 of OMEGAETTE thermometer/travailleursduweb.com data recorder.
That is the problem. I communicate with the device via RS - 232, using Labview 8.5.1 and windows xp. I ask her for "all the coded data", which is actually the only option. He returns 10 bytes of encoded data, the manual describes the meaning of each byte and I understand that. The problem is that I can't analyze the information for use in labview, for example: I want to extract the temperature and simply display it.
on request, I get: 10bytes (read as a string from the serial port read buffer): display HEX: 02 00 A8 48 FF EF B6 49 B6 03 is perfect, and what I expect. Display codes: \02\00\A8\B6H\FF\EF\B6I\03 The Normal display is a series of special characters, I don't understand, especially since I don't think they are ascii characters that must match returned hexadecimal numbers! For the life of me, I can't understand how to extract the information (what are the 48 6 hexadecimal display) of what is returned. All string manipulation functions seem to work only on what is given in Normal view. (The 4th and 5th byte of the data are the codes of the BCD for temperature: for example the temperature was 64.8 degrees farenheight when I took this reading).
Can someone help me to analyze the data returned by this device?
Ok... I think that I thought about it. I found this: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/77C8F61D36F5A23086256634005ACB38?OpenDocument.
I guess the normal display garbled is corresponding to each hexadecimal ascii characters. I'm just not used to seeing characters beyond the decimal number 127 ascii or hex 7F.
So, basically, to analyze the 10 bytes of data:
(1) break the string read from the serial port in the 10 ascii characters (using String subset vi)
(2) son of each output string in the left input of 10 separate Type vi Cast.
(3) wire a constant U8 in each terminal 'type' VI Type Cast.
cables of 4) the chain of each Cast of Type vi output to the input of a number hexadecimal string vi.
(5) concatenate or use as you wish as hexadecimal numbers (now in string format) which cause.
See you soon.

This bug check is usually caused by drivers who used a wrong address.
If the first parameter has the same value as the fourth parameter, and the third parameter indicates a runtime operation, this bug check was probably caused by a driver who was trying to run code when the code itself has been paginated outside. The possible causes for the error page are:
- The function was marked as pageable and was operating at an IRQL higher (including obtaining a lock).
- The function call was made to a function in another pilot, and that this driver has been unloaded.
- The function was called by using a function pointer that was an invalid pointer.

Data affinity: Duplication of entities when the value of associatedKey?
I'm trying to implement data affinity. I have a domain of the FootballClub and player model. A player is held by a FootballClub. Players and Clubs are cached in separate NamedCaches and I use serialization of java base.
Affinity seems to work - I connect the partition using a BackingMapListener and you can see that a player is going to the same partition as the club owner. If I start a new data node, and the score moves to the new node, that the player and the Club move together.
The problem I have is that if I change the owner of an existing player and put in my reader updated in the cache of the drive, I don't update the existing player entry in the cache - I get a brand new player. This is the expected behavior?
If it is not planned, anyone have any suggestions as to where I could go wrong? I tried with a KeyAssociator and by setting up KeyAssociation on Player.Id.
I also tried excluding the clubName (associatedKey), in the methods Player.Id.hashcode () and equals() and make the transitional clubName in this class.
I connect MapEvents and you can see that the toString() of the binary version changes key player when the value of KeyAssociator.getAssociatedKey () changes slightly, but convert the key to original format using BackingMapManagerContext.getKeyFromInternalConverter () always returns the same value.
I'm new on consistency so quite possible something basic wrong I.user6871200 wrote:

This is the expected behavior: If you have actually changed the key, it's a different key, and you put the same player with a different key in the cache. Why it would affect old Scripture?
A key in the plan is considered as immutable and you violate this principle.
The problem is that your modeling is defective: owner should not be part of the key, or must be immutable. In your case, it should not be part of the key (but then you can't affinity). Question is: why do you want to have an affinity between the owner and player, anyway?

Data (date Math) Member text 1 less the text of 2 members
Help! I'm building something as an "age of the auditor.
> > I'm looking to subtract dates
I have a text called "DateToday" -is today's date
and a member of text called "DateYouTyped" -indexed by the user (first YEAR then MONTH, DAY) using the format YYYYMMDD
How 'pull' the text of members and use as part of the formula?
And that the formula would look like
I used Director help and found
myBirthday = date (19650712)
YourBirthday = date (19450529)
You would do something like
Date1 = .text ("DateToday" member)
day 2 = (member("DateYouTyped).text
and then
set date1 - date2? I want the result to go in a text member lets call it 'finalanswer '.
You got an answer that, admittedly, I didn't spend too long picking apart - mainly because it seemed too complicated.
I approach what you describe by first making sure there are enough numbers entered to create a valid date - this includes leading zeros in the case of the day and the month. Either that, or provision of input fields separate year, month and day that can be validated individually. However, go with your 8-digit imagined the 'trick' entry is to enter the first 4 characters of the year, the month and the last 2 as day 2 and compel them to strings to integers. Something like:
sDateToday = member("DateToday").text tYear = value(sDateToday.char[1..4]) tMonth = value(sDateToday.char[5..6]) tDay = value(sDateToday.char[7..8]) dToday = date(tYear, tMonth, tDay) sDateEntered = member("DateYouTyped").text tYear = value(sDateEntered.char[1..4]) tMonth = value(sDateEntered.char[5..6]) tDay = value(sDateEntered.char[7..8]) dEntered = date(tYear, tMonth, tDay) -- this gives the number of days between the 2 dates -- it's not clear how you want the result formatted, so ... nDifference = dToday - dEntered member("finalanswer").text = "There are" && string(nDifference) && "days between the two dates entered"

I try to import the file Excel Tbird address book data (6 fields). All the 6 fields appear in the Contacts pane, but only 3 of them appear in my list where I can sort them. I tried to add all the options for display (CAT name, organizations, etc.), but there is no data in one of these. The other 3 fields appear for each entry in the Contacts pane, but they appear below the blue bar that says 'work '. It is a zip code and the name of the city that I want to be able to sort the whole by address list.
I guess that you export your Excel file to a comma separated file.
Try to include the column names until the last necessary one, in the same order and spelled as an address book.
When you export mark the part you want to use column incl. names
Open your .csv in a texteditor, y at - it no additional space, strange letters, commas, etc.The best way to get all the names is to export an address book to a csv file
