• AIO C309a will not print in black: prints fine in color

  MY HP Photosmart AIO C 309 printed in black and in color with no problems until a few days ago.

  Then it stopped printing in black.

  I have:

  clean the printheads 3 times

  changed the black ink cartridge

  restarted the computer

  did a hard reboot printer

  try printing from the computer and print directly on the printer

  The color will still not print.

  Black still refuses to print.

  The only fault I can think is that we had a snowstorm a couple of weeks that restore electricity.

  If black and white copies work fine, then it is not a hardware problem.

  If the black and white copies print in white, there is a hardware problem and I would say soaking the print head.

• AIO c309a drivers

  I had any other problems with the software that came with the printer. FAX didn't work, Scans did not save in the business case. I went to the HP website and downloaded the version of the software dated 14.1.0 Date 03/10/10 and now everything works. But when you go to devices and printers it shows c309a 2 printers and one is labeled TELEC. You must use a labled FAX to send a FAX and the unlabled one to print and scan.  Is this OK as there seems to be a lot of trouble to go to devices and printer and replace the Fax printer when you want to send or receive a FAX. Thank you very much for any information you can give.

  It is normal to have two devices listed all-in-one.  The printer needs a way to understand that you want to send a print job to the fax or print.

  Hello. First, I installed theC309 with the cd that had top windows7. and hp solution Center isn't open might 14.1. Did a new install of HP web site with 32-bit windows driver software 7 that everything was great, even the center of solution a few days later, when I tried to sweep the center of solution would not open again with the same message on installation is not complete. • AIO Photosmart C309a producing Pages out of order for 2-sided

  I have a Photosmart AIO C309a Printer (Pavilion, NY554AA-ABA e9240f/Windows 7): that (when I choose 2-sided) product pages in numerical order.  I rarely used the printing option 2 in the past and only in recent months faces this problem started.  For example, here is the last page order: 1, 4, 3, 5, & 2 for a total of 3 pages.  Someone knows why?

  What program are you printing from?  The same thing happens when printing from Notepad or Wordpad?  One thing to try - in the Advanced tab of the driver change the checkbox for the order of the pages.

• Photosmart Premium Fax AIO - rejects Android Bluetooth phone queries

  I tried to send a document created by QuickOffice Pro on my printer HP Photosmart Premium Fax AIO C309a of my Samsung Android 2.3 smartphone series.  The phone finds the bluetooth printer and I select.  The application attempts to send the document to print and it fails with the error "request refused by remote device.

  I thought I could use this printer as a bluetooth device, pair it with my phone and send documents to print.  Is there anything else I need to do to make it work correctly?

  I solved my problem. It print photos, but to print documents, you must install the third-party software, printshare and then buy the Premium key for $12.95.  It does not work on my Photosmart Premium Fax AIO.

  Thanks for keeping me posted. Right now based on what you described, the wireless radio. I would recommend the printer connected to the router with an ethernet cable, by doing so, you will still be able to print wireless computers on the network.

  The other option at this point is to contact HP and see if they have a trade in option. You may be able to get a new printer at a reduced cost.

• Photosmart C309a - scanning went OSX10.6

  I'm under OSX10.6.1 with an AiO C309a Photosmart. Scan worked very well with the preview and print/fax area were printing and scanning options.

  I tried to install the updated for my so - 4380 series printer drivers print add queue said that the pilots were available from Apple but software update download telling them to come back later. Looking at the HP site I downloaded the latest OSX10.6 drivers for the printer and then install.

  However, in doing so, something has gone wrong with the C309a. OSX10.6 seems more tot recognize the scanner and it will not work with preview or recognize thanks to the Image Capture. I found a new application - scanning HP but that works (what is a new application in a pilot later?) - I prefer to use a snippet.

  How can I go back to what the scanner recognized in preview and Capture of Image? I tried to remove the C309a queue, restart, etc., but OSX10/6 still refuses to acknowledge that the scanner has even thought that it works very well through scanning HP (which I prefer not to have to use).

  Have you downloaded the software C309a here?

  Try this.  So who disobeys, uninstall all of the software (Applications, Hewlett-Packard) HP and no more:

  -install the update from Apple here printer driver

  -Installing the HP software.

  I recommend keep it simple and install only the first in the list, if you can get away with it.

• HP IPrint Photo 3.0 will not work on Iphone4

  I loaded the software HP IPrint Photo 3.0 for both my Iphone4 (OS 4.0 and 4.1) and Samsung Galaxy S Captivate (Android OS) wife.  I tried to print different photos of each phone wireless on my HP Photosmart Premium Fax AIO C309a printer.  Photos of the Galaxy through the Android system printed perfectly.  The app crashed every time on my Iphone4... it says 'Printing', the 'status bar' goes in motion and then about 25% of the way it stops, then after about 1 minute, the phone gives the message 'Problem Possible with your printer' and that's all.  The printer prints about 10% or more of the photo, but that's all.  Any ideas on how to solve this problem.  Performance of HP HDx 18 t with Win7 64 bit.   Help!

  Fantastic!  You are absolutely right!  It is a problem with the IPhone4 and Apple should be able to remedy.  I turned off the Bluetooth and, although it had been previously able to find the printer starts printing (10% before it stopped), now he finished printing... as long as Bluetooth is disabled.  Thank you much for the help!  Wish Apple HP get together and solve this problem.

  During my research on this subject, I came with two interesting topics, the first being this forum thread that says to set the settings customized in the settings of the printer and not in openoffice.

  I've also seen on several forums office opened only when users have experienced paper mismatch errors, they had to set custom to basically not good sizes. 8 x 6 is 9 x 7. Person not listed the exact settings used and most of the people have been using envelopes.

  I need to do some additional tests to see if I can come up with a setting that can operate in open office and if I do I can post on this settings as well as some screenshots.

• C309a Photosmart AIO prints ok wireless but does not havea analysis option

  I have installed, reinstalled, have chess 3 and level 4 uninstall many for = imes and cannot get the scan to work function unless I connect the printer using a USB cable.

  I created a static IP 192.168.0.6 and this works well for wireless printing.

  The wireless network test report shows the connection to 192.168.0.6 with an excellent signal strength.

  All categories in the summary of tests show 'pass' and no other network detected.

  The router is open, without passwords or encryption.

  I disabled my firewall/protection virus on the pc and the router. (even if it prints ok wireless)

  The computer is a HP Envy23 touch

  The operating system is Windows 8.1 update

  In addition, the HP solution Center fails to install.

  I did a "factory reset" on the printer.

  It drives me CRAZY!

  Can anyone offer a solution?

  Finally fixed!

  If someone elsehas this problem, here is what worked for me.

  Run the uninstall of level 3

  remove all the Photosmart left of files in C:\program files (x 86)

  Open regedit, find and delete all entries "Photosmart".

  run cCleaner registry cleaner twice

  reset

  If the network check out is enabled, you will find the printer listed under "devices and printers".

  run print and scan doctor and let it download and install the software.

  I hope that someone help avoid pain inflicted by is not HP do a correct uninstallation.

• HP Photosmart C309a AiO Wireless on and work, can not find the network!

  My printer has stopped printing a couple of days.  It was fine, now it is not.  The blue light wireless radio is turned on, but when I run the network set in place, it works simply and can not find my network.  I ran the network diagnostic and it detects my network, but can't find my printer.  On the test page, it fails on SSID.  I could use some help to get this operational back guys!  Thank you!

  Well, I can't comment officially, but I'm sure that has been discussed in, and design changes avoid this problem.

  Regarding something is through HP, you could call the HP Technical Support and check if you have options to upgrade to a new printer. They should have a list of printers and prices offered as part of the upgrade process. There is no charge to call and check the options you have. • HP Photosmart Premium C309a - LCD not working not

  I have a HP Photosmart Premium C309a AIO that print, copy and Fax perfectly except that the LCD gradually deteriorated to the point where it now seems almost completely white with virtually nothing readable, which makes this much less usable device. Can I replace the LCD screen? A replacement LCD can be ordered and replaced by a user?

  Unfortunately the LCD screen on the printer is not a part, you can order and replace yourself, however I have some suggestions for you to try to see if you can restore the functionality on-screen.

  You have the printer connected directly to a wall outlet or a surge protector or power bar? Even if you have used a surge protector/power bar this whole time and you feel that this is not the case, please connect to a wall outlet so that we can eliminate the source of energy as the primary cause. • Problem connecting ethernet HP C309a.

  Hi, I have a HP Photosmart Premium C309a of AiO. I have the printer connected via ethernet cable to my linksys wrt54g router. I chose to have connected to it as a device wired because of the quality of the connection. The problem I have is that the device refuses to get an IP address from my router when its connection speed is set to auto, 100-Full, a half 100 or 10 half. I'm only able to get the unit to connect by using a link 10-Full speed. I've had the camera for a while now, and it worked very well defined to automatic. I'm fairly certain that I am using the ethernet cable provided with the printer, what should be a cat5 or cat5e, so the cable is capable of handling. In addition, as I said, it was working fine before and suddenly connects is more to my network on these parameters. I tried to contact the HP support, which they have been no help for me. They said that if the device 10-fully functioning unit works very well. They said that they had no network at HP specialists who could help me with the problem and that I needed to contact radioshack or bestbuy to solve the [no] problem. IM confident enough, it is not a network problem and it is more than likely something with the ethernet on the printer or the printer itself or printer port.

  I also have a HP C309g-m which works without problems with the speed set to auto

  My concern is that if the ethernet port is deteriorating on the device that finally the functionality of the ethernet port will fail soon.

  The printer is accessible by several different computers, whose operating systems are Windows XP to Windows 7.

  I think it's pretty shitty that support HP says that there is nothing wrong with the unit even if its link speed works only 10%.

  OK, suppose that it is not the printer for now.  Make sure that your router has the latest firmware and it is restarted (pull on the plug for a bit).

  In addition, replace the Ethernet cable, try a CAT6 cable.

• C309A replacement warranty - change of name

  Under an extended Staples warranty, my C309A Photosmart AIO has been replaced due to a jam ADF damage the sensor.  The original machine was shown on the router wireless as the HOST = HP5A814A.   The replacement comes as the HOST = HPD5C23E.  This laptop (wireless) (Vista home premium) has the HP5A814A (printer & fax) showing offline.  The replacement printer then comes as a "web services printer", but I can't seem to recognize the fax.  The HP Control Center says "disconnected".   I have to remove all the entries of printer/fax (C309A), uninstall the Panel & reinstall?

  You have to define their brand new. It is never as simple as swapping in an identical printer without a configuration...
