  You use OS X 'El Capitan' right!, airdrop stops working when I update to El capitan and the only solution I've found airdrop to work again was to return to Yosemite and stay there.

  I downloaded a PDF file that is (probably relevant) 143 MB to my iMac and fury to my iPhone, and here in iBooks, I tried to dump it to the iPhone from a friend, but when I pressed the button share, the only option available is to print. I have no shared all other smaller PDF files so I don't know if the size is the issue, but how can I dump this PDF file between iPhones? Preference through iBooks.

  Well do what I send the PDF to my email, and when I open it I scroll down and click on the "arrow in the square box" at the bottom left of the screen and click on 'Air drop '.

  I tried to drop photos between my iMac 2014 iOS 9.1.3 and my iPhone 5s (9.3.5) for awhile. Bluetooth is enabled on both. However, even if I'm sitting in front of the iMac with my phone, it does not connect and throws me a message that the network is not available? I lived the privacy and security settings and these are open to accept the device. I was in our Apple dealer yesterday and the iMac in there recognized my phone without any problem, please help as it is very frustrating!
