  Try these steps, check to see if things work after each step if necessary, before you try the next.

  1. Check AirPlay is on the Apple TV (turn market if it already is)
  2. Check that both devices are on the same network (settings > Wifi on the mobile device and the settings > general > network, on the Apple TV).
  3. Restart the Apple TV (settings > general > restart).
  4. Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL cables for 30 seconds.
  5. Restart your router. (Also try to remove the power cord for at least 30 seconds)

  Hello everyone, I spent the time to research on the here and the other site on why the CD/DVD does not work with El Capitan 10.11.5 on MacBook Pro mid 2009. This discussion forum has said that he will not work with the El Capitan software. Any idea or suggestion? Back to Marverick or Yosemite? I tried to use SMC reset, restart, recovery and still the same issue.

  I have my doubts that the (10.11.5) software is the problem.  Are you sure that the DVD player is simply not defective?  Have you tried to clean the lens?  What is the State of the disc?

  Your best option may be a date at a bar in engineering of the Apple store for a FREE evaluation.

  Tethered shooting works fine with Lightroom 6.4 on El Capitan.

  You can then go ahead and buy Lightroom and perform the tethered shooting.

• Quick Time Player does not work in El Capitan

  Now Quick Time Player does not work properly.  When I click to use it, the only thing it allows me to do is 'click to drag', while he was recording a screen, buttons disappear and the only way I can stop the recording is to go to the menu screen and exit the Quick Time Player.  So annoying!

• PDF Print Plugins does not work in El Capitan

  I have long used automator to create a plugin to print pdf, as shown on the attached screenshot.  Stocks that renaming a file, create a pdf file and then automatically rename the file, at least in part and save it.  Since the upgrade to El Capitan, the process seems to work, but the files are not created.  I had the same problem 'Open with PDF Pen Pro' and with the removal of various files and reinstall was able to do this job, but I guess that other systems use overview and it does not work and I don't know if an extract can be reinstalled.

  Yes - I found a post on the HP website - "HP can't stand this product."

  This is unfortunate, because I just bought the machine two days ago.  If you are indeed working with where to HP, you can hire a query regarding WHY they sell products that you will not endure.  Needless to say, it will come. Also needless to say, when I looked for a replacement, I don't even consider another HP product.   Who knows if those who are still in charge, even if they are sitting on the shelves in stores.

  I've been encryption of e-mails between colleagues and had years of this work on all OS x versions and it still works on the iPhone.

  However, I bought a new 12 "and did a fresh install and now cannot operate on El Capitan.

  My certificate is in Keychain Access and I can sign your emails. I have my colleague certificate in the keychain (save his email signature). My colleague can sign and encrypt and I can read.

  First of all, after you install an S/MIME certificate, is you leave and then to restart the mail to make it available.

  I recently replaced with El Capitan Yosemite on my Mac Mini last 2014. Everything worked well after the original download, including Photos. Then I closed the computer and went to bed. When I started again this morning, the system does not start, and I had to use recovery mode to reinstall El Capitan. 13 hours later (for some reason that the software took so long to download) the system works again - but not photos. Unlike other Photos post-EC problems, I get no message, just a bar with almost all the options greyed out. One of the few non-grisé options is under the tab 'windows', where, by selecting 'Photos', I get a white box. And that's all. I tried to start clicking on both of my two libraries - nothing. I tried from Photos with the option key - touch nothing. I tried from Photos with maintained command - nothing. All my photos, apart from those of Photostream, stored locally; I have all my pictures on iCloud, and nor do I want to. I'm sure that they are all there, because the library of the main image shows 36 concerts and everything is backed up, but I don't know how to access. Any help much appreciated.

  Where your photo library is stored? It's in your pictures folder, or on an external drive?

  try to find out if the problem is system-wide or only happens in your user account.

  Can you launch Photos, if you connect from a different user account, for example the guest user? (see this help page: isolate a problem by using another user account)

  • If Photos does not even from another user account, your relocation was unlikely.  Try to reinstall again with a stable network connection.
  • If pictures work well from another user account, delete the preference files in your Home folder.

  Remove these items from your user library in your folder:

  • Delete complete files - if they are there-

    ~/Library/containers/com. Apple.photolibraryd /.
    ~ / Library/Containers/com.apple.Photos/.

  Log and turn it back on. The files will be recreated when you try to launch again the Photos. But don't try without a current backup of your system!

  Your user library can still be hidden. To reveal the hidden user library:

  • Bring the Finder to the front by clicking on the desktop or the Finder icon in the Dock.
  • Select your folder user/home (with the House icon in the side bar of the Finder)
  • With this window in the Finder in the front window, press the ⌘J key combination to bring up the display options.
  • In the view options panel allow you to "show the library folder. That will make your visible user library folder in your folder.
  • Open your folder, then the library folder, then the containers.
  • Move the entire folder ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Photos/ on your desktop. Move the entire folder, not just the content.
  • Delete ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Photos.plist Similarly, if it exists.

  Restart the mac, after you have deleted the items, then try opening your photo library and see if pictures will now launch properly.

  For the millions trying to use iMovie HD with Yosemite

  Some people keep a separate hard disk or partition with the Mavericks top to avoid the procedure below. However, once you get below implemented, is no big deal. Earlier, someone posted a "patch" to iMovie 06 HD that has corrected the problem of launch. For some reason, Apple has removed the post. Yosemite has a bug that incorrectly identifies iMovie 6 (aka iMovie HD) as not compatible.  iMovie HD works fine with Yosemite. Here is a workaround that many use until this bug is fixed. > Find iMovie HD in your applications folder. > Right-click on it and select "show the contents of the package. > Then you will find a folder called "content".  Open it.  Then open the folder named "MacOS". > You will find "iMovie HD.  Double-click on it, and will launch iMovie HD. > Then create an alias. iMovie HD starts directly from the alias.

  El Capitan is problematic, I am a long time user that is all Adobe and Mac stuff, belive me you are not alone, now, it's what you need to do, call Adobe 1 - 800.833.6687. hope you have iCloud account (it will make it easy) asked them about your concern and call 1800 Apple applecare, before to make calls make sure that you have a good explanation for them and try to take note, they may ask you to share the screen with you make their license they can probably will fix your problem.
