  Better the Mac is the best AstroPad will work.  I don't use a Mac.  Do a search on Astropad and performance. Photoshop will work 8 GB of RAM wig how performance will be with Astropad may be more related to the graphics card in the mac and your home network.   When I want a screen high resolution on my computer I plugged my surface 3 Pro as a third wireless display using a virtual graphics card.  On the surface, I just use chrome to connect the - the virtual graphics card on my workstation.   Ive had only my iPad pro for a few days now and the battery just drains constantly 1% every minute or so. I read online and have turned some triggering and cool off apps, Bluetooth off exe... My iPad pro always drains battery life bad... I use it constantly or the other, it could be on the home screen and I do nothing and in a minute or two 1% of the battery has been drained. I'm just bummed on this subject because Apple boasted of a battery life of 10 hours and going at the pace my battery, I'll be lucky to get an hour or two. I would greatly appreciate all constructive comments on this.

  Have you tried a reset of your iPad by pressing the sleep/wake and Home buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with the Apple logo and then release the buttons?

  Since you've already tried some troubleshooting to get your sound work, I want to assure you that you have tried the steps listed here:

  If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support

  If you have gone through these steps, the next step to try would be to reset all the settings on your iPad. If you have already tried this step, then you can skip to the next part. To reset your settings, you go into settings > general > reset > reset all settings. This does not erase any of your data (photos, contacts, data app), but you will need to set up some default settings again as your sounds, funds of screen, Touch ID & password, Apple payroll, restrictions, iMessage, etc.. You will need to also connect to your Wi - Fi network, so make sure you have your Wi - Fi password available.

  After the reset of all parameters, you can try to backup and restore your iPad via iTunes if you are still having problems. This will let you know if there is a problem with the hardware or software.
