Alerts for text, email, messaging, blackBerry Smartphones voice etc. disappeared

There is nothing extraordinary, but I no longer get alerts for sms or mms, e-mail and virtually everything that uses alerts.   I checked and double checked the option for each and every settings seem normal.  Normal is that they are set up as they would be working.  Thanks in advance for any help.  Its much appreciated.  Once again thanks...

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

Best!

  • Confusion of reconciliation for the email to blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

I have a BB Curve (8330) with sprint.

    I have BIS (not BES).

I have a single e-mail account IMAP via a 3rd party ISP (not GMail, Yahoo, etc).

I send the value delete on the server, and BB, I have a reconciliation with wireless ON

the BB and I Syncronize deleted items checked on my BB email account

    Web interface.

What I notice is when I delete a message on the BB is on the IMAP account deletions

Server immediately. It is very good. BUT if I delete an email that is sitting in my BB

List messages directly from the IMAP server (by anything other than the BB)

It can take hours before it is removed from the list of messages in BB.

Sometimes it takes a much shorter time, but it is not fast particlularly.

Even if I do a "reconcile now" messages previously deleted directly from the

IMAP server are not removed from the list of messages in BB. They will be eventlually

are deleted but only after an apparently random time.

So I guess my question is the simplest form would be "when do IMAP server."

the messages are deleted directly on the server IMAP removed on the BB?

Like I said, they get deleted but not instantly, but rather after hours sometimes.

    TNX.

    Hello!

You cannot control this. It is based on the priority at the time your email provider as well as in BIS - and this function are a priority lower than other functions, and competition for priority is not just your email account, but all accounts e-mail on your server, as well as all lines of e-mail via BIS. It will happen as you see it and you can't control it.

    Hope that helps!

  • Do not produce messages blackBerry Smartphones BBM

From about 12:30 last night my BBM messages stopped to deliver, it was more than 24 hours. Figure it would work perhaps himself, but there not yet and scans of Twitter and forums don't seem to be indicating any type of problem.

It was working properly until then, conversations were going back, then he just started giving checkmarks only but not d I am able to receive BBM surveys in real time. See the other side of D, but even if I read them he won't R.

I use a Bold 9900 running v7.1.0.794 and BlackBerry Messenger is v7.0.0.108 of the beta area. Everything else on the BlackBerry does not work normally. Emails come and go, text works as is the voice. Facebook, Foursquare and Twitter are also just as functional. It's JUST the delivery of BBM messages.

Recipients are on different media and the same carrier like me, Bell Mobility in the Canada, and it's the same result for everyone. Tried to reinstall BlackBerry Messenger, send Service directories, etc. Seems maybe something on the end of the RIM as it's going to checkmark.

Hello and welcome to the community!

As you use the BBM beta product, your help in this matter is only available in the BetaZone. This site is for the only elements of production, not beta.

OK... and what was your result of the search of the public data base KB? I found this... may or may not apply to your situation, but give it a quick glance:

    • Article ID: KB12288 Impossible to integrate or validate a Google Mail with BlackBerry Internet Service account

Otherwise, with a strong support network signal (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

  • Problem with email notification blackBerry Smartphones

HIII everybody... I use bb9320curve with os 7.1, until a few days back everything worked well, in my opinion if it was my friends or community mailer. Then due to several reasons, I disabled my internet connection for a week, now, even once, I enabled the internet, I received a message that in 20 minutes I start receiving my notifications by e-mail, but nothing happened. I have not received all messages on my phone (but a lot through my Inbox in regular line).  I tried to reboot, perform a hard reboot by removing the battery while on and so far nothing has worked. Then I get notifications only when I receive by email from the community forum of bb not other e-mails that are my friends, I know it sounds crazy, but that's what happens. Can anyone suggest me the solution.

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

  • Email to blackBerry Smartphones stopping at BB when I'm at my desk

Just got a curve a couple of weeks.  I spend much more time at my desk than away from him.  There is no need for my BB to receive e-mails while I'm in my office.  Yet no one at the Sprint store could tell me how to leave the BB on phone calls, but stop email received by it.  I figured out how I could do by using a FILTER on sprint.blackberry.com.  BUT, if I forgot to remove the filter when I leave the office, I can't access the section sprint.blackberry.com of the BB filter.  They say same you cannot change a filter from the browser on the device.  Why?  Beats me.

So... any ideas on how to allow phone calls to come to the device, while stopping the email to do.  It should really be just a few clicks on the device to achieve this.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

I am sorry to say that there is not an option for this on the Blackberry.

The use of filters is your best bet.
