Align the text inside the text boxes

Hello
How can I align a text in the Center within a text input (I'm populating the input text until the page load with values). I tried with "text-align: center" but it did not work.

Thank you
Rahul

I tried and it works fine for me

Make sure you apply it to the contentStyle.

    Hello

    As far as I know, if we do not have indications of the dialog then displays on the center of the screen by default.

    This will solve your problem?

  • alignment of text box problem

    Whenever I create a new text box in an exsiting file, the text in a text box moves. the text alighment touches EG: align at the top of the text box, middle or low. but whenever I move the text box, the text moves with inside. I've disabled all text wraps and makes TIC TACS remove any clothing in the hidden layers (even if this is not checked) nothing changes, the text always moves inside the box. I'm sure that it's not supposed to happen, especially if I checked so that it can be aligned to the center of the text box.

    Can someone help me please.

  • File IDML opening with vertical alignment of text in the box set "Center".

    I got a batch of files, asking me to review. They were saved as files CC as well as .idml. I have used .idml since the sender used plugins files that are not included in the package. Using the .idml, I do not get the warning about the missing plugins. However, when I open the idml files that all text boxes are the vertical value Center instead of top. Very tedious. CC files opened correctly (with the exception of the warning about the missing plugins).

    Is it possible to open the idmls and get the vertical alignment to open as "top"? Or should I use the CC files and ignore the warning on the plugins?

    Thank you!

    Tim

    Guess I'm stuck with opening the idml docs and manually change each vertical alignment of text box.

    With Find\Change you can:

    Find/replace > object tab

    Tye: Blocks of text

    Change object Format: click on specify the attributes to modify > text frame general Options > vertical Justification > Align > Top

    Then find and change or change all

  • I can move the search box the exact middle of Mac screen Spotlight?

    I am running OS X El Capitan 10.11.2 on my MacBook Pro.

    The other day, I moved my Spotlight search field for the corner of my screen. And I want to bring it back to the Nice symmetrical position - horizontally and vertically in the middle. But it seems that there is nothing to help align the search box - as some grid or something.

    Is there any way I can bring it back to the default position? Thank you!!

    Go low-tech. hold a rule up to the screen while you drag the search box in the position. Neutral, this is where the diagonals cross.

  • Types of text along the horizontal edge of the text box instead of be written inside. What's wrong?

    I created a text box by dragging the horizontal text tool.

    But when I start typing, the text aligns along the top border of the box rather than be written inside.

    It looks like this.

    How can I fix it, so that the text is inserted inside the defined area?

    Many thanks in advance!

    I just thought about it! Do not think that I was clueless.

    I just had to change the height of the font to 100%. Haha

    Hi, when I create a text box, and I type text in it, then I resize this text box, I want to see inside moving text at the same time I'm re-sizing of the text box. It does show me not LIVE what is happening inside the text box while I'm re-sizing of the text box and the same goes for the area of the image, I hope I could clarify my question.

    When resizing of a text box, click and hold for a moment before starting to resize. This will allow to see live redesign.

  • My text box is frozen and has a dotted around her line, how can I get the cursor inside?

    My text box is frozen and has a dotted around her line, how can I get the cursor inside? I work in Indesign CS3, I wrote a page of A4 format with a unique and with a large amount of text inside text box. In the end, I brought a JPEG in the page. Now they have a thin line dotted around them and appear "frozen." I have not seen the dotted line instead of the line before usual text box.

    Points: The text box is not locked, the layer is not locked. Nothing on the page goes live with command + A to select.

    It happened between the Time Machine backups so that I can not restore.

    All I need are the captured keystrokes.

    What can happen when you put the JPEG, I myself can I have moved that file folder, a larger file, on the desktop, then placed the JPEG.

    Re-opening Indesign didn't work; restart did not work.

    Solutions appreciated.

    The dotted lines mean that your items are on a master page and not a document page.

  • How do I center align the text in my text boxes if they are currently right aligned?

    I've created a customer questionnaire in Word and then turn it into a PDF file and created the necessary text boxes. The problem I have in Adobe Pro XI, it is that I want all of the text in my text boxes must be aligned to the Center and non-aligned left. However, when you create and edit text boxes, I see no option to help me do it. When customers complete the form it looks like messy because the information than the filling of only tables not centrally aligned, so it is my paintings look badly organised. Help would be appreciated, thanks.

    In form editing mode, right-click the field properties - Options and select under alignment, select "Center".

  • Wrong with the alignment of the text because of the Bounding Box (SC6)

    I'm fighting to properly align the text because the selection boxes are not centered around the text.  Why, when I try to align on another object, it is turned off.  I use CS 6 and, as a general rule, the point tool and type.  I have read other forums that suggest that it could be the type of policy (which perhaps they are 'bad' fonts), but apparently not any type of police I use.  The framework encompassing always has extra space under the text, even when you use a very standard font such as Times New Roman.  Anyone can shed some light on this?  Thank you very much!

    Sarah

    Sarah,

    1. in the preferences, select "use Preview Bounds."

    2. Select the text you want to align.

    3. go to effect > path > describe the object.

    4. align

  • Table goes out of alignment in the text box

    I created a very simple table in InDesign CS5 on Windows 7, like this:

    1.png

    However, when you start typing in a cell, it goes like this:

    2.png

    To fix, you make the text bigger or smaller box and then resize it to what it is supposed to be. Also when I do a first page datamerge moves like that too, even if the rest is correct. When you export to PDF it comes out wrong as well. If anyone wants an example file that I can post it here.

    Anyone have any ideas what's causing the alignment change when text is entered into the table?

    Well, I think I see here the rub - if you left me speechless for a while there!

    So, I see that you have the text box that contains your table to help you align your table in the center of your page. (i.e. the box containing the text is organized around the outside of the page and the table is centered lef/right using point centering and up/down by using the command "Center" in the control bar. There is nothing particularly wrong with this method, I think it may be the source of your problems with alignment change unexpectedly.

    Looking at your file, I found that the removal of "Center" and change to the opposite to "align top" took the nervous behavior of the text box. It is more shifted when I tried to type. He however move the entire table to the top of the screen. For now we'll leave it there. Align the Page: Centre from left to right, Center t to b.

    Your final result should be an element that is always perfectly centered on the page, but which can be of type in without any unpredictable jump around!

    Now, we will select the entire area that contains the table. In the paragraph Panel, click "Left aligned". This will move the table to the top left of your document. Now, frame content. Go in the Align Panel.

  • How can I align on the decimal point in the text box?

    I am creating a form of order and hold align the price fields in the decimals price column.  Is it possible and if yes, how can I do?

    Thanks in advance,

    On field text properties and tab select the menu 'Options', and then set the alignment on the "right". On the tab "Format" in the text box, select it "digital" format and decimal places '2'. "

  • Align the text in a box of text (no label)

    Hi all

    I have a form that I want to use to allow visitors to communicate with us.  I don't want to use text labels because I want the text boxes to align all adjust to the right of the text.  I thought that I can accomplish this by doing 2 divs: 1 for text and 1 for the text boxes.  My problem is that I can't get the text and the text box to be centered between them.  They are not just ' line up properly.  Is there an easy way to do this?

    It's pretty easy,

    In my example, this rule would have just the text-align: right; changed obviously, for text-align: left;

    {Label
    color: #121212;
    float: left;
    font-size: 1.2em;
    make-weight: bold;
    padding-right: 10px;
    text-align: right;
    Width: 160px;
    }

  • Align the text in the dynamic text using HTML box

    Hello

    I'm importing text to mysql through php, for an area of dynamic text in flash. I can't text from column 2 to align to the left. It comes out like this:
    Column 1 column 2
    James Kearns
    Mary Peterson
    Thomas Clark

    The php code I have is:
    print ("& dbpages =");
    While ($row = {mysql_fetch_array ($result, MYSQL_ASSOC))}
    Print "< table >. $row ["FirstName"]. "". "< tr > < td align = left > '." $row ['name']. "< table > < /tr > < / table >". " » \n » ;
    }

    The AS code is:

    Where database_txt is the dynamic text box.
    How can I align column 2?

    Thank you
    Paul

    Thanks for your comments.
    I used the tag to format text and solved the problem. In the PHP code I used the tab stops \t. It aligns data in Flash.
    PHP code should now be:
    Print ("& dbpages =");
    While ($row = {mysql_fetch_array ($result, MYSQL_ASSOC))}
    Print "\t".$row['first_name"]. '\t'.» $row ['name']. » \n » ;
    }

    The Flash code is now:

    var resultPages_LV:LoadVars = new LoadVars();
    resultPages_LV.onLoad = function (success: Boolean) {}
    If (success) {}
    var myformat:TextFormat = new TextFormat();
    myformat.tabStops = [20 140];
    database_txt.htmlText = true;
    database_txt.htmlText = resultPages_LV.dbpages;
    database_txt.setTextFormat (myFormat);
    }
