• PRI all-in-one HP Deskjet 2542: not the printer connected to the Modem

  My modem (wired LAN) password and the name was changed recently and now my printer (HP Deskjet 2542 all-in-one) does not connect to the modem.  The blue light just continuously flashes.  This is the only change that has been done to my modem and this is the first time I tried to print. It is printed on the front.  I called the cable company and they determined my modem was working fine and has suggested that to change my printer settings.  I grew up the printer instructions on my computer, but could not find something that I could change my settings to match the modem.  I think that's what the cable company told me to do.

  My printer is mod. # SNPRB - 1204 - 02.  If you need made more information let me know.  It seems that this should be a quick fix, but I'm not a computer geek.

  I understand that you have some problems with the connection of your Deskjet 3050 has e-all-in-one printer to your computer Mac OSX 10.11. I can help you with that.

  To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

  1. Turn the printer off:
  2. While the printer is turned off, disconnect the power cable from the back of the router for a minute.
  3. When the lights come back on the router, turn on the printer.
  4. Disable any antivirus, firewall or security of your Mac software.
  5. Try to run the installer.

  When you add a new ink cartridge for the printer, you will still need to synchronize it to the draw clear spell.  I don't remember how to print this piece of paper, it does it I don't know where to look for it.   It is a new one on me. I installed the printer with a barrette SIMM Postscript so it would work even at all under Vista and now it prints well but insists on the fact that I have all re - print he has never seen a reason any whenever I turn the printer to print something again.

  So two things to look for in the computer and the printer.

  After an automatic windows/XP download started what follows:

  All-in-one Brother takes control of the computer, but are not sent or computer will not receive the image to the desktop.

  Also, same unit will receive a fax and normally sends to the computer to the paperport, but now he sends (i.e. "connecting to PC" displayed on the LCD of the brother) to a computer but it can not be found anywhere; so lost.
