All-in-one HP ENVY 5530: problems scanning with Windows 10

10 Windows does not recognize the scanner of my all-in-one.  I have no problem with it recognizing the printer and printing.  I removed the device and reinstalled several times.  As soon as I did this I can use the scanner in the device only, but not from the pc.  When I turned off the pc, it disables the scanner and I have to start all over again with delete and reinstall.  What should I do to solve the problem?  Thank you.

You may need to temporarily disable any Antivirus software, just to be sure, that it is not interfere with scanning.

I have provided a paper for not being able to scan using Windows 10. If you're still having problems, try one of the applications in step 6 of the document, unless can not analyze after the upgrade, HP printers - printer after Windows upgrade problems 10

    It seems that you have not installed the printer correctly. Please download the software and the following drivers before installing on your computer:

    Do you use the 8.1 Windows pre installed or upgraded other windows? For preinstalled machines, you should have a few screens with several icons. After you install the above package, you should see the icon of the printer on the desktop.

  • Dell 942 all-in-one inkjet printer has stopped working with windows 8.1

    Printer drivers are installed. When you try to print the document doesn't seem to be in Quebec, then disappears.  Windows says it's not compatible, but I was able to scan documents. Any help would be appreciated!

    8.1 Windows comes with Internet Explorer 11. I hope that the original version is up and running. Windows Update comes from Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7 and 8, and it has caused problems of print spooler. We found that removing IE11 and going back to IE 10 or an earlier version has solved this problem. Something you can't do with Windows 8. Unless there was an update to Internet Explorer is the last month or two that you can remove, issues of print spooler will perform until Microsoft releases an update.

    The material (both print & scan) worked well on OS 10.10.x but as soon as I xfr needed a MBP less 10.11.4 it stopped scanning through the HP software, but will work under Mac software scan. (The side of the printer still works fine.)

I understand that the printer is stuck on "alignment page to print after you changed your color cartridge and now it is stuck on copy and just watch the circle turning. When you say that you did a restart, you leave the printer on and unplug the power cable? If not, let's go and do a hard reset. To do this, leave the printer and unplug the power cable for 1 minute. While it is unplugged, press and hold the power button on the printer for 10-15 seconds to release built his power, then after the minute, plug the printer in. Also, even if you have used a surge protector/power bar this whole time and you feel this isn't the cause, please plug it in to a wall outlet so that we can eliminate the source of energy as the primary cause.   Questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power

    When you print several envelopes, my HP Envy an envelope prints correctly, then prints each another envelope upside. I inserted the envelopes and I use size 10 envelopes. It is standard envelopes with no gloss, no windows and are self-adhesive. What I am doing wrong?

    I understand that you have problems printing of envelopes, each another envelope prints upside. I will do my best to help you.

    Most likely, this is a setting in the application or the printer driver.

    What applications do you use?

    Make sure that the manual duplex is not selected in the printer driver.

    My printer isn't printing. I turned off. Disconnected from the wall for 20 minutes, removed from my computer and added again. It still spit on the same document that I have already printed. If I cancel the work of pritn, it starts just a new. Over and over again. I think it's something to do with the "brain" of the printer.

    The word 'model' before a 'number' does not appear.

    I still have the installation disc, but I guess it will be obsolete now.  Is it not possible to download up-to-date software when I get my new laptop Windows 8 and I have to pay to do this, please?  I'm not computer literate, so I need simple tips, step by step.

  • All-in-one OfficeJet 6110 will not scan.

    I reinstalled and hardware (scanner) is recognized but will not give the ability to scan. I use Windows 7 32-bit but also windows virtual XP.  This problem has been uninstigated.  Does not work under XP 7 or virtual.

    I found this document which indicates the front button functions are limited in Windows 7, so if you try to scan form, it just will not work.  I also found this document which shows you all the different ways that you can scan with Windows 7.  Hope these helps.

    I hope someone can help me with my problem.

    I created an account of HP ePrint for my all-in-one HP Envy 120 printer and then changed the address of e-mail to something which I could easily remember.  So far so good.  However, as this printer could not copy or scan, I replaced it with another printer with the same details of the model.

    Then, I went on my HP ePrint account and deleted my original details of ist printer (as he has been appearing as offline and not connected) and added my new printer via the tab to add devices.

    The problem is, I want now to change this e-mail to my original email (easy to remember) address address but when I click on the option change Email, it is grayed out and cannot be changed.

    Can someone help me with what I want not a random email address

    A specific ePrint address cannot be assigned to different devices... Your previous address can not be used on your new printer.

    You will need to select an email address unique for your new printer - sorry.

    I see that you encounter some problems with the scanning of the all-in-one Photosmart C7288 printer after upgrade to Windows 10. I can help you with that.

    To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done, uninstall all software associated with the printer to your PC. Finally, download and install the latest drivers by clicking on this link.
